Our gazebo was delivered this past week and every effort was made to not damage it or our property. The spot was rather tight and the guys took extreme care to position and level it exactly where we wanted it. A small piece need to be replaced and Greg was back in just a matter of days! Great experience and outcome! Highly recommend!

Boondocks Utility Blds. & truck covers is a wonderful family owned business. Excellent, courteous and professional. Our shed was customized to fit our needs using, in house, quality craftsmanship. Their service is reliable, personalized and delivery/installation was quick and easy. I give them a AAA+ recommendation!

My Dad has used Boondocks for over 30 years. With his great experiences in using them, I decided to purchase a building. Mike and Greg did a fantastic job making the building custom to me. They delivered it so professionally and set it up in just the right spot. I was very impressed with how careful and delicately they handled such a massive load. I would definitely use them in the future. It couldn t have been better. I am so happy with my new building.

This company is the 100% real deal. I ve needed a shed for my business, looked at a few other places and knew from the beginning I wanted Boondocks to deliver ours. Competitive pricing and a quality product they truly care about, and build in house. I know they ve been in business for almost 50 years and I couldn t be happier.

It's a decent building unless you want to finish it, but I wouldn't spend 8,000 dollars on it again.We ordered a 12ft x 20ft shed with a 6ft porch. Mike was very helpful when deciding what options we wanted, and showed us a very similar shed he had sitting on the property waiting for delivery. We were told it would be about 3 weeks and about 7,000 dollars, but we couldn't ever get an exact price out of him.He called us a few weeks later to let us know that the siding we wanted was backordered, and would be a few more weeks. If we wanted another color he could get it done quickly, as the building was otherwise ready. Since we wanted the building to match our house we opted to wait. It took a few months for the siding to be available, and I'm not worried about the wait, but when I called to check on it I would get a different story depending on who I spoke to. Sometimes the siding was still on back order. One time the building hadn't been started yet. One time the building was even done and just waiting for delivery when it wasn't actually. Either way, we ordered mid-September and received the complete building mid-December.When Mike called about the siding issue he mentioned that the cost of lumber was going up, and that it might be a few hundred dollars more than he originally said. I know that lumber prices have been going up for a while, but I honestly still felt a bit taken since we'd already discussed the price and I'd made a down payment of half that amount.When we finally got our schedules to agree he delivered the building. I also settled up the remaining balance which put the total at just under 8,000 dolllars. That was quite a way from the original 'about' 7,000 dollars. The original quote didn't include the 500 dollars in taxes or that increase in lumber.There are some craftsmanship issues with the building. They aren't major, but I noticed, and they don't give me a lot of confidence in the quality of the work. One of the window frames is not square. The deck on the front has a sizeable chunk missing from one of the boards, and they are all slightly different lengths giving a rough look. The electrical outlet boxes were not all mounted straight, but I removed them all to lower them anyway since I felt they were too high up on the walls and I was adding a few more.I'm now finishing the building and finding a lot of major annoyances. I paid extra for 8ft walls. What I ended up with was 93in walls (3in short) before installing a floor over the subfloor. The stud spacing is all over the place, as they framed each of the windows in addition to the original 24in studs. This required a lot of cutting of the insulation. It looks terrible, but at least the drywall will cover it.When they built the walls they failed to include a 2x4 to mount the drywall to in the corners. On each end of the ceiling there is also nowhere to attach drywall, so I had to add a few 2x4s there, too. The porch cover also has nothing to attach a ceiling to. Those will need to be added so I'm not looking at bare plywood above the porch.Overall, the building looks nice from the outside, despite missing a few screws in the roof where they were just overlooked. The subfloor is even, and doesn't flex when I jump on it. Once I'm done working on it I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I was traveling across the country and had a deer run into the side of my truck in Colorado. I had the body work done in Albuquerque. The topper window would have to be ordered several weeks out.I ordered it from Boondocks and it arrived before I did in North Carolina. We stopped in late in the afternoon before they closed. My window was professionally installed and we were on our way again looking like new again.Thanks Mike and Boondocks staff.

Purchased an ARE topper for my pickup and couldn't be happier. Mike and Greg did an excellent job in going over the options, best pricing for what I wanted and made useful recommendations. The install was done meticulously, with care and ensuring all went well. Good guys, good products, excellent service.

Mike and his guys are great to work with. Sheds are built solid and they matched our siding, trim and shingles. Delivery was great. The guys made sure we were happy with the placementOf the shed and made any adjustments we wanted before they left our property. Would highly recommend Boondocks!

Happy camper , been using boondocks in Etowah for years there the best around , purchased 3 toolboxes , one large behind the cab and two side toolboxes that sit above the bed they installed them very strong durable , life changing because before I piled all tools in backseat of the super duty and just to grab a flat head I would have to unload 100 tools to get one tool , there was Also the occasional avalanche of tools and chainsaws when opening the rear doors that got frustrating and from time to time just flat out dangerous , needless to say I m much safer now and more organized . Also fixed my hydraulic lift for my back camper window in my peer camper top in like 10 mins wouldn t stay up when opened now it s fixed , that was a big plus !!

Really happy with my new storage shed! It's 10 x 20 and they were able to maneuver it around trees, across property and placed it where I wanted it. The quality of the shed is great. It's really nice to deal with a family run business. Thank you!

Mike and his staff were outstanding professionals to work with!!!! Gregory and Billy worked wonders replacing old vinyl siding squares on our storage unit and a new door. A large amount of custom trimming was required to make the vinyl siding squares and door fit perfectly. Our storage unit looks like a new building! Mike was a pleasure to coordinate the work with. I would highly recommend these marvelous professionals!!!

Greg and Adrian are the best! These guys came out earlier than expected and took such great care to discuss exactly where I wanted my building placed.Not only that, they spent a lot of time making sure it was level and readjusted where adjustments needed to be made. They did not rush thru just because it had been delivered! I appreciate the quality building service and time that was spent caring for my purchase!!

The guys at Boondocks are super friendly and professional. They custom built and delivered our storage shed in a tight squeeze through to our backyard with no issues. They also completed the custom build at a much better price in half the time quoted by all of the competitors and I checked many, many others. I know it sounds to good to be true, but they delivered on everything they promised. We are thrilled and I would highly recommend them.

Over the past 6-7 years, I've bought four storage buildings from Boondocks. Every purchase was an excellent experience! They are such high quality buildings, that during a recent move I wanted to take 2 of them with me. Boondocks made that happen. They have a trailer that can maneuver just about anywhere. Great customer service. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and easy to work with on ordering truck bed cover. Kept contact during a fairly long wait (2mos) due to virus. Installation was a breeze for these guys and had me on the road with my new cover in no time! They had some pretty nice looking buildings out back too. The service was great, highly recommend.

Stopped by to see if the business could install the center brake light on my used cap. I had the light to install. After looking at the opening that the light was to be installed it was determined that the opening had to be enlarged in order for the light to fit. No problem. After cutting the opening to fit the light and filling the gaps around the light with clear silicone, it was determined that the light would not work. I was then given back my light covered with clear silicone and charged $40. Really?? A business practice that is poor at the very best. Super for all those that got wonderful service but I was not one of them.

We picked out an 8x10' building months in advance of finishing our new home. We paid a deposit and they were willing to hold the building for us at NO charge. The building was delivered today and setup very professionally. This is a family run business and they build the buildings themselves. I can't speak to the other items they sell, but these are well made. I highly recommend this company!

I was considering a shed from Lowe's or Home depot and just wasn't liking what I was seeing. on a rainy spring day, we happened to drive by Mike's place and got out to look around. I liked what I saw, Mike worked with us and today delivered my shed. I can't wait to begin to put things away. it's solid, well built, with a window that opens and an electric outlet. hubby just has to run the line. Mike and his crew are great people as well. I would highly recommend them!

I called 4 different shed companies around the area and all were unable to move it. I was in desperate need of having my 10x20 shed moved. I found Gregory and he got the details on the shed and came out and didn't blink. they were able to move the shed, which was a very difficult one to move. I was very pleased with Gregory and Josh and their ability to get this difficult job done. I would highly recommend for any shed fabricating or shed re-location needs!!

This building was a big expense for me, and I priced and priced to find something I could afford. I'll save anyone the trouble, there are many out there that charge way more for way lessThat aside, these guys are professional from start to finish. They not only have the tools to get the job done, but the experience and know how to do it right. It wasn't easy to get my building where I needed it to be, and they went above and beyond to make sure it got there, and set up properly. Thank you guys so very much, and apologize for any troubles that you guys had to put up with!

These folks were awesome! The shed was well made and my son loved it. The guys that delivered was even more awesome as well as there equipment , I was in awe watching the unload and maneuver of the equipment. Such and excellent job, I would highly recommend Boondocks to anyone.

Not a pleasant experience for my husband Bill. I witnessed the camper shell being dropped. Maybe just need more hands for such a large item.Being a small business owner myself, you learn to stick to the price you quote. The balance price quoted for pick up was $286. However you added over $130 extra at the last minute. These charges were bogus and not authorized.If anything unexpected or missed from the original agreement comes up, you should notify the customer as soon as possible & especially before the item is to be picked up. That way the customer can be prepared. Otherwise the extra expense should've been written off. I paid the extra expense that wasn't previously figured on the bill. It is what it is. We are done.2/3/18You deserve a double review. You called me after my post above & tried to act like my husband of 25 yrs was at fault. You said he must have misunderstood the charges you discussed with him when he dropped it off & how you didn't realize there was damage when the camper shell was dropped & my husband was fine with touch up paint before we left. Do not try to put the blame to anyone other than you Sir.You keep offering us a visit back to your shop. For what??? If you want to refund me $200 for the over charge & damage that you are responsible for call me for an address to send the check & I'll delete the reviews.Otherwise, I hope your word of mouth reviews are better than the ones posted.

Came to these folks last minute for a custom camper top order and they were very friendly and helpful in helping me get exactly what I wanted. It arrived in half the quoted time and they installed perfectly it next day. Really can't say enough good things about this family run business.

I Recently purchased an ARE truck bed cap for a Ram 1500 through Boondocks. When it arrived they quickly installed the top, however when I brought it home I noticed the windows of the top were leaking (manufacturer defect). I called Boondocks and brought the camper over the same day, after inspecting the top and contacting ARE, they took the top off and shipped it back to be repaired. When the top arrived back at Boondocks they quickly reinstalled it, and its now water tight.I would absolutely do business with Boondocks in the future.

Boondocks has been around here for years. They ve sold my parents two pickup shells over the years and many other people I know around here have bought from them too.Me personally, I ordered a BakFlip bed cover from them. I put down a deposit and three days later it showed up. They had it installed in under 30 minutes and it s perfect! If I had ordered it myself online I would have only saved $56 (sales tax) and I would have had to put it on myself. WRONG! The BakFlip bedcovers for full-size trucks weigh about 300 pounds - I consider an extra $56 to be nothing compared to the aggravation of trying to put that thing on by myself in my driveway!Boondocks is a great place - they wouldn t be around for 30+ years if they weren t.

OUTSTANDING! What great people to work with. I did not buy my buildings from Boondocks I just had them move from one property to another. My next building will come from them without question.
