Had a great experience getting a tire replaced here! We couldn't get it done the original day we wanted to because they were super busy and understaffed which we totally understand and it's not the employees fault when that happens so we rescheduled for the next day. We arrived early for our appointment and made sure they knew we were fine with waiting as we knew we were there before our scheduled time. They were not quite as busy and were able to get us taken care of a little early; they made sure we were comfortable for our wait and before we knew it I had a text the car was ready to go. I have a regular mechanic I love but when he's closed, Walmart comes through in a pinch! Do try to schedule appointments for what you need though vs walking in, and be understanding because they really are short staffed and doing the best they can. A little kindness goes a long way y'all. (While I was waiting both days experienced several other customers not being so kind and understanding of things.)

Came in on an appointment to get new tires installed, The employees where friendly and informative me of warn potential scratching on my rim since I have aftermarket rims on my car, which I was fine with a potential scratch. Came in and got out really fast.

I'm guessing corporate don't look at the stores reviews ....welcome to Walmart where we will strip your oil pan scratch your wheels and get oil all over the hood and steering wheel and then act like they are trained professionals when confronted about it nobody knows this but the tire and lube at Walmart is where all the flunkies go when they can't make it at a real shop bottom of the barrel oil and tire changers put them all together and they got one complete set of teeth..

Made an appt days in advance got there on Saturday morning just an oil change. They had no filter for my car. This was ridiculous knowing days ahead should of had filter. Very disappointed..

I have called multiple times and sat waiting up to 20 minutes each time walmart needs to fire those employees that don't answer the freaking phone. Bad business who ever the manager is isn't doing there job.

Kindness and service is the key! Joe and Wesley are fantastic! The night of July 15, 2023 my family and I were headed home to NJ from SC and hit a pot hole tearing a cover on our car s undercarriage. We didn t know what was going on and the flapping noise for 40 miles in the rain and darkness was deafening. We pulled into our motel s parking lot in Dunn, NC and looked at the damage. This morning July 16, 2023, I goggled auto shops open on Sunday and thank goodness Walmart Auto Care Center on Jackson Blvd in Erwin popped up. I couldn t believe that it was open and only a few miles away. My daughter and I at 7:40am stopped to see if they could help us. Joe and Wesley were so welcoming, friendly and kind and took care of the issue in a few moments. True Southern Hospitality at its best! Just want to thank them for their kindness.

This department is horrible.The desk staff are always rude dismissive and uneducated. Not ONCE have I gone here and they are pleasant. I was hung up on after asking if they could put my brand new tire on my rim. I ve been there twice and was told they could do it. My rim isn t custom. I simply ordered it off line because the dealership recommended the wheel due to them having issues with my standard wheels. They are simply black that s it. I was told ima have to pass on custom wheels because we can t take a risk of scratching them um my regular rims and the regular rims on any car that s standard can get scratched ALSO. It s no different. They are plain black rims. No ceramic coating nothing is on them! I ve used those machines before myself first hand. If you scratch a rim it s due to your OWN carelessness and either you don t know wth you re doing! It s not hard! It takes under two minutes to complete. I also called and WATCHED the guy at the desk ignore my call and reject it. He didn t know it was watching. Fire these staff and get yourself people who know what they are doing !

Needed a value stem put in a tire that was off the car and they only had 1 car in the bay. They said they didn't have time to mess with my tire with 3 mechanic on duty at 6pm. No wonder they have all these 1 stars.

Walmart auto center is the best William he's doing his best as great on fixing my tire I have a 9 hour drive and they basically help me get out in like 10-15 minutes Sharonda was the best and Sandy perfect now all your employees are the best employees they work hard and I really appreciate everything they've done for me

Came in at 2 to get an oil change and they're closed for the rest of the day. They used to be our go to place but now I'll have to go elsewhere.Update 7/2022: tried to go have my tires rotated and found that since I purchased them there they'd do it for free. Thirty minutes later they told me that they couldn't do it because all 4 of my tires were below 1/32 tread depth. Turned right around and went to another store to have them checked and they said this was not true and I had way more than that left and they rotated them. Not pleased again with the service.

Was told on the phone they close at 7pm arrived at 530pm and was told they were closing up for the night even tho they take the last car ar 6pm. Bought a tire anyways and took it with me as they said I could come back the next day to put it on then when I came back to put it on they said it's appointment only. Get your act together walmart, your staff are clueless its pitiful.Service: Tires

Very kind and helpful staff. We had a flat tire on the interstate and stopped here to try to get a replacement. They didn't have the size we needed, but many of the staff members worked to do everything they could to get us back on the road! Darrell put our spare on, Will recommended other shops.... the helpfulness of the staff was above and beyond.

I was stranded with a bad tire. They were supposed to call, text or email when new tire arrived. I heard not a word from anyone at Walmart . If I hadn't gone back on line this AM to see the status, I'd still be waiting. Very upset

Huge thanks to Sandy in the Auto Center! Traveling on I-95N near Dunn, NC, we experienced a blowout. After Brian of Tucker and Tucker changed our tire, we arrived at the auto center at about 3:45 pm. We had a new tire replaced and were back on the road at about 5:00 pm. Thanks also to the staff who put on the new tire, etc. Kudos!!!!Service: Wheel alignment

The Dunn Erwin wmart was great. The sales person was excellent. She knew her product line well and quickly helped me choose the right tires. She reviewed the road hazard warranty details with me throughly before I paid. Installation was fast and we were on the road in thirty minutes. I was pleased with their service and the Goodyear tires are running smoothly. I tried the Fuquay store first but not even close to this store customer service. Highly recommend the Dunn Erwin store.

Called about the wait time for an oil change while I was on the way there since I had 3 kids under the age of 10 with me. Was told an hour wait time while I was only about 5 minutes away. Got there unloaded the car which took about 10 minutes because of the baby. Got inside and was then told 4 and 1/2 wait because both oil technicians were about to go to lunch and the only technician that could do the oil change had 2 cars that needed a full set of tires and 2 with oil changes. Walmart does not need to schedule the only certified oil technicians to take lunch at the same time. If they do, they should let people know that the technicians are about to go to lunch and the wait will be extremely longer.

Oil filter was extremely loose and leaking immensely on my Volkswagen Jetta after a routine oil change. Amateur mistake I guess you get what you pay for? It d be understandable (not really) if the oil change didn t take an hour and a half with one person ahead of me. I ve never written a google review if that s gives any clarity to the level of disappointment I am currently at.Service: Oil change

I got to Walmart automotive right at 730 a.m. on Saturday. They were so rude and disrespectful to all of us. I needed one tire and one person in front of me and it was at least a 2hr wait. The older gentleman at the register was so nasty to the customer in front of me and was giving her such nasty looks and she was just doing an inquiry. Never have I had such rude service, I left and went to Black Tire in Dunn NC, they got me right in with pleasant customer service.

Well it's hit-and-miss here. Sometimes you come and they take care of you right away and other times you got a 2 hour wait. I've currently been waiting an hour and I got at least one more hour ahead of me just for an oil change. And the employees, well they're not outright rude but they're just tired and underpaid so they will put up with you the best they can

Once again Walmart fails their customers. Out of stock on my tires and instead of ordering them for me they tell me to order them myself... you know that is why people still go into to stores for the customer service... and for years Walmart has failed drastically as a whole and across the board. If I wanted to work for Walmart then I would apply, otherwise I will not check out nor order my products that is why we hire cashiers and maintain stock par levels... just a little business 101 in case Upperanagement missed that class

On a Sunday, Do pray you do not get a nail in your tire. It took me four hours to get a flat repair on a Sunday. I arrived at 10:00 am and left at 2:20 pm. This place needs better staffing, one tire line working out of two. I know thing happen but really guys!!!! Thank you for your help.

Terrible service at this Walmart auto center. They had several cars in line and these guys were just rolling around like it was the day off. One guy held his coffee in his hand the entire time and never put it down except for one occasion to pick up a bottle of water. The only person truly working was a female who is changing tires. Whoever she is deserves a raise and the rest of them should be fired. The absolute worst service I have ever received from a Walmart auto center. They also need to have a policy of no personal cell phone use during work hours but apparently they don't. If they do management doesn't enforce it.

Was there to get 4 tires. Waited for 3 hours and still no tires!!! Then to top it off them jokers had my window down! And another man said he had been there 2 1/2 hours before I got there for the same thing and he left! Thanks for nothing Dunn Walmart!!!! Lesson learned stick with real car garage shop!!

They got oil all over the place and greasy hand prints on my hood and door inside and out and the steering wheel. I told the TLE manager he said he would talk with the technician about it. Whoever changed my oil needs more training.

Oil and grease all over the inside of my interior after oil change at this location. Also, could not remove bolts to change my oil filter with oil change. Went to Quick Lane oil change and better price and no problems with service.

Joe is the man! Above and beyond with the customer service, had an issue and he was able to resolve it and make sure I was taken care of before moving on to the next customer!

I had been waiting in line to get my oil changed about a hour and a half then they call me to say I had to go out and buy my oil filter. So I did. They were suppose to vacuum my car that was included in my price for oil change, looks like they didn't now I have to vacuum it. Just terrible service today.

This is my last time using WalMart for tires. They never do what I ask and always slip in extra fees. They take forever to do simple jobs. Never going here again
