Josh was very informative and answered all the questions I had a very pleasant experience. Most mechanics do not acknowledge the fact that a woman knows anything about cars and try to charge them for things they don't need. But I found Josh and his employees to be pleasant and knowledgeable. If I need anything else with my vehicle done I will be going to them.

The Gentleman I talked to was knowledgeable and was reasonable in possible quotes. Said they could make the needed cables in shop easily and not a problem. When I took the van in it wasn't the man I spoke to, was told the temporary splices were OK and all I needed was a battery. I asked for the cables to be replaced. The splices were 10 guage to 4 guage and no that's only adequate for short distance to get them replaced not to drive around with. Wasn't impressed as a business. The man was sitting down doing nothing. I would think as a business getting that money even a small job is better than nothing. I was quoted around $300 to make and replace 3 cables had the cash ready to go. Now I'm broke down til another shop can see it at the end of November. Traveling and stuck in a van through the holidays sucks knowing they could have fixed it and I could get home.Reply: I did take it to your garage and it was a black gentleman that spoke with me. Why would I remove an honest review? I said the conversation I had with you was straight forward and honest however it didn't match the service I received.

I just moved to the NC area and not only is it difficult to find a good auto mechanic but also to find one you can trust. When starting my car there was some hesitation. Another shop said it was the alternator. So happy I received a second opinion from Thirteens Garage. They saved me quite a bit of money and Josh found me a great deal on the battery with a five year warranty. DEFINITELY will be using Josh for all my automobile needs from here on out. Took my wife's 2011 Hyundai Sonata in for 2 different issues. Josh was quick about diagnosing the problems and kept me informed the entire time in regards to part availability, repair cost, etc. Got the car back quickly and was happy with the work done. I would definitely advise everyone to go to this garage if you want an extremely honest quote. Usually if either your a female or not from the "neighborhood", mechanics try to take advantage but not Josh. Completely honest and fair. I will forever continue to use him as long as I'm in the area.

I have a big distrust of mechanics. But not Josh of Thirteen s Garage. From the start I could tell he was honest in his dealings. He kept me informed every step of the way and never tried to oversell me. He even sent pictures of the progress on the vehicle. I had to have a transmission changed. He was pleasant and knows what he is doing. He is a good mechanic. He has earned me as a customer. Thank you Josh.
