I needed a mechanic after moving from Cary to Gibsonville. After asking around and doing research I decided to try Womble Automotive. Best decision I ever made. Honest and professional with competitive pricing. After getting my oil changed I discussed that my a/c had just quit working. After looking at the system with an ultra violet light and seeing no signs of a leak, Jeff suggested vacuuming the system and recharging it with Freon with a leak detector. He gave me a price up front and it worked. And I will definitely be a repeat customer. Great work great prices and best of all honest and upfront.

I have sent my 2012 Ford Focus to Jeff Womble several years now. Each time, he has provided fast, reliable service. Today I called at 8:00am with a complaint of smelling burnt motor oil. He said to bring my car on over and by lunchtime he had diagnosed the problem (bad valve cover gasket), called me to let me know the issue and replaced the gasket! Thanks again Jeff for your fast, professional service!

Jeff is always welcoming and honest about any repairs needing done to our vehicle. We have referred several others to his business and their opinions are of like mind. This will always be my go to repair shop. Especially as a woman he makes me feel respected and he listens to my concerns.

Without exception the best automotive repair anywhere in this area. I realize going to a mechanic is like going to the dentist. Jeff must instinctively be aware of this. Friendly in a trusting way. Easy to talk to, knowledgeable, no hard sells, he tells you what the issues are and you decide. I have seen his prices below market standard. Get a chance drop by get an oil change talk to him and see for yourself. Give him a try.

Took my 2014 Kia Soul in because it was stalling out and not getting any power to it. They were quick and efficient! Got my car in good working order in a couple days, and also kept me up to date. I have taken my car to Womble twice now and I can t say enough positive things. They have been so accommodating with getting my car in and out at my convenience and the service is unbeatable. DO NOT GO HERE! HORRIBLE SERVICE! Ripped me off just to take a look at a very simple problem that took 5 min!! Charged me 60 dollars and very rude and dismissive of me as a new customer especially a woman! Learn how to treat woman customers or get out the business! Also learn some darn manners!

My daughter took her Subaru in for a repair and brought the check engine light diagnostic code from advance Auto with her. Womble still charged her an hour diagnostic time to a diagnose the same code she brought in with her. When I called to inquire why they told me that they had a $10,000 snap-on machine they had to pay off basically and that everybody gets charged an hour.The person I spoke with asked me if I was in this industry and if I could fix it myself. Why didn't I do that... Very unprofessional. Avoid this place.Additionally, there was no communication with my daughter. She had to call back two days later to ask how the repair was going and they told her it was ready. They did not call before they did the repair. I think this place takes advantage of younger people and women in general.

Another company tested my battery and said it was the alternator. Got to Wombles and he finds out the alternator is fine, just needs a new battery. Very fair pricing and awesome people. Would recommend.Service: BatteryService: Battery

On my way to work, I noticed that the battery light started to flash every few seconds. I knew that it had something to do with the alternator, which can mean big trouble if not looked at right away. So I checked Yelp to see where the closest mechanic shop was and Womble Automotive caught my eye quick with the 5 star ratings and high reviews.Their reputation definitely proceeds them. Jeff and Ernie were very hospitable and professional in every way. It turned out that my alternator did go bad and they had me in and out in about an hour. They are no nonsense mechanics that will tell you exactly what the problem is and also quite affordable.I definitely highly recommend and will definitely go back. Jeff, who is the owner, has 25years+ experience and really knows his stuff and it shows. Ernie is a highly skilled professional as well. Probably the best experience I ve ever had dealing with vehicle mechanics.

Excellent work at a reasonable price. They stand by their work and are not afraid to tell you to get a second estimate if you have trust issues with mechanics as many folks do. I have been going to Womble automotive since they opened and, although it is never been said, it feels like they follow the golden rule of treating others the way they would want to be treated. I have referred male and female friends there, and none of them have come away with anything but satisfaction as to how they were treated in the work that was done. a couple of those people have become regular customers as well.

100,Percent Recommend Womble Automotive Super quick right to the point and really professional and super honest he will try to help you as much as he can posible Had a 420 code Catalyst system efficiency below threshold and explained a few things that could have been the issue, not even an hour he called back letting me know it was done and if it shows any sign of it coming back to let him know

I've been going to Womble since he opened shop, and I have nothing but praise. Jeff is incredibly hard working, and puts customers like me who know next to nothing about cars at ease. Perhaps most importantly, he is trustworthy. He has earned my respect and most certainly my business, and I cannot recommend him enough.

Literally the best service I ve ever received going to a car place. I don t know much about cars, but Jeff took the time to show me what was wrong with my car and answer all questions I had and never once made me feel silly for asking them. He was so kind and reasonably priced. I took my car in on a Friday for him to look at, and he was on the phone immediately ordering the part I needed and had me bring my car in on Monday (today) and had it fixed by lunchtime. Yes, it was a small part but it s those above and beyond gestures that have made me a customer for life. You won t be disappointed going here, trust me!
