This was our first purchase from Hyundai EC. Everything went rather smoothly. They managed to get the exact vehicle I wanted delivered from another location. They didn't use pressure tactics. The Sonata is great! First time owning a Hyundai and pleased so far. Almost gave a 5-star rating, but getting return calls has been somewhat lacking. Hopefully, after using their maintenance services, the stars will stay.

Went to purchase a vehicle waited outside by the one we were wanting to test drive noone came out. Then left came back went into the showroom and NOT ONE EMPLOYEE WAS THERE. Yet their sign says we come to you so no waiting well we waited came to you and still got no service

I will NEVER buy a car from these people. They have Lemons as used car as well as loaner cars. I traded in my car that didn't have any problems with for a car that I had to request new brakes, sunroof was stuck, and has oil consumption issues. Not to mention, I had to replace the battery. I've had this car less than 8 months and has gone through hell with it since. Called to speak with David the GM about it. I was told he was going to call me back, NEVER heard from his. I had to keep calling him! he finally answered. They wouldn't trade the car. they wanted me to put down money!!!!! Oh let's not forget they asked me did I want to keep this car and buy a whole new car. that mean I would have two car payments and a repair bill. I could keep going on and on about this whole situation.

So I m going to be completely honest. I ve bought my last 4 Hyundai s from Hall, there will not be another. The salesman I worked with was pleasant, no complaints, I wanted to trade my wife s Sonata for a newer one but there was limited inventory, can t be completely put on them, so we decided on a Tucson (side note: wish I had stayed with the Sonata). Here where the issue started. When it came time to close the deal the sales manager seemed to think he was doing me a favor in some way, even had the tone of talking down to me, I honestly should have walked right then but I was excited to surprise my wife so I let it go. I take it home, she gets all excited about the blue link it doesn t work, Hall instructs me to call blue link directly to reset it, I do, they can t fix it, blue link tells me to contact Hall service dept, I do, they basically tell me if blue link can t fix it, they don t know what they could do but they ll take a look , I quickly see this is going nowhere and chalk it up as a loss, at this point I have a bad taste in my mouth and don t really want to deal with the dealership anymore anyway. Now today it s less than 6 months later, the brakes are acting up and need to be serviced, I call the dealership to see if something can be done, surely the brakes should last longer than 6 months, of course, they re not covered, so I ask but don t you guys inspect the cars before you sell them, you d replace brakes that would be worn out in a matter of months before selling that vehicle wouldn t you? To which I was told it depends on who took the car in, if it was traded at another dealer, they do the inspection and we just give it a once over . This is a classic example of passing the buck, no one takes ownership, how is that the consumers issue? Short answer: it isn t, if something was missed along the chain of custody, the buck stops with you, being accountable and making things right would definitely be preferred. To sum it up, I didn t leave a one star because I should have walked away, so that s on me, Hall used to be my favorite dealership but this course of events had left much to be desired, they ve really gone on a negative trend, the next time I buy a vehicle (usually every 2-3 years), there is no chance that I will visit this particular dealership again.

An absolutely pleasing sales experience with our salesperson, Mike White, and sales manager, Steve Spivey. We reached out to several dealerships with specific parameters. Not only did they respect those parameters, they did it with professionalism and integrity. We purchased a 2024 Tuscon SEL from them.

From Rich (Sales) to Scott (Manager) to Khaliyah (Service) to Amy (Parts & Service), the staff at Hall Hyundai Elizabeth City did, and still do, an exceptional job in my buying experience. Bought a Santa Cruz, a relatively new comer to the Hyundai offerings. When they tell you they don t know about a feature, they find out and follow through. Worth the trip to work with good people. Message to Hall Automotive Group: Hire more people like this.

Recently, my husband and I worked with Mike and Scott (sales manager) on the purchase of our new 2023 Palisade Calligraphy. We have done many dealerships and trade-ins in our lives and none have been as amazing and honest as Hall Hyundai Elizabeth City. I originally started with a Santa Fe which I quickly realized wasn t big enough for my family right after purchase and they had me immediately on a list for a Palisade which only took 3 weeks. The fact that they wanted to make sure I was fully satisfied spoke volumes for me and the whole process was quick and professional. Thank you Mike and Scott for helping us and getting me in my favorite vehicle I ve ever owned!

What a great place! I will be going back for sure! The other hyundai dealerships are nice BUT, in this place , you don't have to sit and wait for2- 3 hours AND it was a last minute appointment. Super nice people!Khaliyah was fantastic!

Very pleased with the great service we recently received from 2 members of Hall Hyundai Elizabeth City: Service Advisor, Khaliyah Whidbee and Sales Associate, Josh Brock. My family and I have purchased several vehicles from Josh Brock. Khaliyah has always been friendly, knowledgeable and professional when we have brought them in to be serviced.This recent visit was no exception as she proactively reminded me that I have enough points accrued in the Hall Rewards program to cover the scheduled maintenance cost on my 2014 Sonata! While, picking up my Sonata, I noticed a 2018 Santa Fe Sport on the lot, that I really wanted, ofcourse, I reached out to Josh and he helped me purchase that vehicle. As always, Josh was a professional and demonstrated it by making this purchase smooth and easy. As he has done before, I appreciate that he doesn't use high pressure or tactics associated with the traditional car-buying experience. He is a pleasure to work with as he is thoughful and answering any questions and strives to go the extra mile.I really appreciate Josh Brock and Khaliyah Whidbee. It's their thoughtfulness and professionalism that will have my family and I coming back!

We were traveling and had severe car issues. Hall was my second call after the first dealership I called wouldn't even give me the time of day. We were traveling from New York to the Outer Banks for vacation. We made it to the hotel, barely. The whole team at Hall were so helpful with our purchase of a new car, getting it to our hotel, taking away our old car, financing and paperwork. They made our vacation salvageable with their efficiency. If I lived in the area they would be my number one dealership.

Recently my wife and I worked wit Ed and his customer service, his energy, and overall assistance in the purchase of my new 2019 Chrysler 300 S was phenomenal. He was knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and took very good care of us. I literally searched for the vehicle the day of driving off the lot, with his assistance of course. I am overly satisfied with my purchase; I highly recommend stopping by if you re in the market for a new set of wheels. Ask for Ed!!

I had an issue with my Hyundai while I was on leave in E. City to visit family. I called parts initially, and was helped by a very nice woman who told me that the part in question was part of a recall on my vehicle. She transferred me to Danielle in service who was able to get my vehicle in to be fixed, for free under the recall, the very same day. Amazing experience. Truly appreciate the help of everyone at this location to get my issue taken care of so quickly.One note for Mr/Mrs Hall...the off-site call center is a not a good idea. Your employees on site are more than capable of handling your customers' concerns. The call center interaction before I actually was able to reach store associates was a 0/10. Thanks!

Truly the very best dealership I have visited in my almost 60 years. Wonderful salesman, Scottie, was so patient with all of our questions and helped us choose the perfect vehicle. ALL of the staff from the sales manager, to the finance office, to the auto detailing department were amazing. A fabulous experience!

I worked with David Shope when purchasing my first car and he was the best! David got me the best deal, made the entire process easy/simple and had my car delivered to my home in Virginia within 6 hours of purchasing. Very polite upon me arriving!!! Great prices!!! Service department very professional!!! Got a oil change tire rotation and rear brakes done. In out bin two hrs!! Very large and clean waiting area!!! Free coffee snd water!! Very satisfied!! Will definitely go back!! Highly recommended!!

I got ripped off buying a used truck from Hall Ford that turned out to be a junker. They screwed around till the warranty expired. But recently I brought another vehicle there to have a tire pressure sensor replaced, after waiting over a hour they told me they didn t have the part in stock and would call me. 3 weeks later I called them and nobody would answer the phone so I left a message and a couple days later finally got a call telling me they ll get me on their schedule but never heard from them again. Took it to a garage down the road from my house and they fixed it in a hour. I would never recommend Hall Ford to anyone for buying a car or any repairs.

Went here because of a recall on my car. The service desk attendees were friendly. Adam(?) was a great help. The waiting are was terrible. All the seating was stained and dirty. Very limited refreshments. Cell service? Ha, forget about it. The only outdoor seating is under a tree where bugs can fall on you. I hope I never have to go back here.

Our family had an amazing buying experience with Hall Hyundai, and would like to thank salesperson, Lindale Brothers, GM, David Shope, and finance directoe, Tom McNally. Lindale was extremely knowledgeable about each vehicle he showed me off both the Ford and Hyundai lots, and was not pushy at all. He helped us look at every finance option, delivered the highest trade value for my vehicle, and secured a phenomenal deal on a new Hyundai for my son. Needless to say, we drove off completely satisfied and will be return customers.
