My truck was serviced for an oil change and tire rotation. I asked for a diagnostic of the rear window as the defrost was not working properly. The results revealed the rear window was linking causing defrost strips to malfunction. A new rear window replacement was recommended by service member through the mobile application. After selecting to proceed with replacement the service member noted I would have to return another day for replacement because installation was performed by a contractor. When trying to pay for my routine service I was told the diagnostic fee and glass had to be paid for upfront and unable to remove from invoice. Agreeing to pay for it, as I would return the following Monday. The truck was left on a Monday for a rear glass replacement. Returning in the afternoon to pick up the truck and paying additional fees for labor, now totaling +/- $1,300. It was raining outside at the time, and I didn t preform a 360 of the vehicle. After returning home, I looked at the rear seats finding black grease smeared and embedded in cloth seats and noticed the window was still leaking. So, I returned to the service center after sending pictures via text message to the service members. I asked the service member to speak with Service Manager which was on vacation so I had the pleasure of speaking with the Assistant Service Manager. After reviewing greasy rear seats and leaking back glass, I noticed a five inch scratch on the bed of the truck, which I was informed the bed cover was removed to provide access to rear glass and a screw could have made contact with truck bed. Not to keep putting salt of a wound the bed cover was not put on correctly causing access points for water entry. I trusted Elizabeth City GMC Service Team with my Truck to fix one issue and received four additional issues (leaking rear glass, greasy seats, leaking bed cover, and 5 scratch). It makes one wonder what kind of employees are working in the rear of this establishment, NO PRIDE in their work! Honestly, my 3 start rating could easily be a ONE. However, I cannot let a couple bad apples ruin a bushel. The front office service members did a great job de-escalating and diffusing the situation. I was impressed with the General Manager as he expressed concern about the performance of the service department. All issues to my truck have been resolved (I haven t confirmed rear defrost, but was told everything is working properly). The GM asked me to continue my business with Elizabeth City GMC not weighing this experience heavily. As of now, I plan on returning. We all have made mistakes, but we should know when to admit our faults! Please use my experience as a training guide to take PRIDE in your work!

Communication was lacking. Was told our service was a 5-hour job. I dropped our vehicle off the night before so they could have it right for our 830 appointment. Although I did ask for them to check other items, the service advisor said that was all included in the multi-point inspection with the service time. I reached out multiple times near the 6 hour mark to find out the status of my vehicle. Finally someone called me and they said they would need more time. I explained that the vehicle getting serviced was my wife's vehicle and that I was going out of town the next day so the vehicle getting done was necessary. There was a brief pause and the service advisor said that the manager would put 2 techs on the job so that it would be done. Great! At 4:30 a different advisor called me and informed me that there was no way it was getting done the same day. Although they offered me a loaner vehicle, it was not helpful. I needed to cancel my AM travel plans for work the next day and wait for my wife's vehicle to get done. All total, this service department had my vehicle for 11.5 hours, I never received the multi-point inspection report and was not greeted with any type of remorse by the service advisor. We will not be utilizing this dealership for any service and we will not purchase from them either.

I had the amazing pleasure of working with Ruth Cheeks. Ruth took time out of her day to drive all the way to Virginia to meet me and go over the specs of my truck. She has been extremely attentive and has done an extensive job getting me up to speed on my new vehicle. Thanks so much for the amazing service! I will definitely be returning for my future vehicles.

I scheduled an appointment for my check engine light being on by the time they could fit me in it went off so they told me to cancel. Fast forward I brought it by over a month later when it came back on they hooked a diagnostic reader up to it and it read the same code that advanced auto pulled that was a " general code" they had not seen before. They asked me if I could drop it off to try to mimic what caused the light to go on I brought it back up again the same day. The check engine light was no longer on but they said to drop it off anyway. The following afternoon when they got around to looking at it, they called and told me I needed and oil change and my oil was low. The service oil light had just came on the day before. I asked them to change the oil if they could fit it in and they said yes. I asked how much it would cost and she said 80ish. I agreed they told me that they could not get the code to come on but if anything I might need a water pump in the future but they had no clue what the knock code was. I went to pick up my car today and it was 310 dollars because I had to pay for a person to look at it. I will never go back to these people and I would suggest no one else does either. The only reason I went there is because they are "certified" but they are dishonest and rude.

Was a very Pleasant experience. Jennifer in service was amazing. Dropped the vehicle off, work was completed in a timely matter, Jennifer let me know when it was ready. Couldn t ask for much more except a break on the prices.

I have always enjoyed talking with Tara and Patty and other staff. They are always friendly and respectful to everyone. Service on my vehicle is always done as quickly as possible and they are very thorough. I do miss having a basic detailing as part of the servicing.

Everything was fine and kept me updated with everything that was going on with my car. I picked it up and everyone was friendly. I noticed there was red paint drops on my cream vehicle I will be showing it to you when I come in for a oil change.

Our first impression of the dealership was a very positive one. We were getting ready to return after the holidays, but 5 weeks after our first visit we received a letter in the mail from them stating that they wouldn't finance us. We were only looking and now we have a negative hit on our credit reports. Why .... we have excellent credit and don't appreciate this!

Bringing my vehicle in for a service, oil change and tires balanced and rotated. I specifically stated I knew my tires have a lot of miles on them and i did not want an alignment done on it due to I'm getting ready to put new tires on it and it would require an alignment anyway. During the service my wife was told the vehicle needed a new drive belt that the the vehicle was unsafe to drive without the belt being replaced. She was told you didn't have one in stock, that it had to be ordered and it wouldn't be in until the following day. You then provided a loaner vehicle to her, she returns home. You then called her around 3:00 pm stating the vehicle was ready. She stated she was already home and wasn't coming back to Elizabeth City. The following morning my wife then returns the loaner vehicle, pays the bill and departs for home with my vehicle. Friday morning I depart with my vehicle to work, after work I return home. As I'm backing into my driveway with the wheels turned left, I hear a loud pop. I immediately stopped, got out of the vehicle and walked around it to see if something was wrong. The front wheels looked strange. I then got back into the vehicle and finished backing it into the garage. I then inspected the front of the vehicle and both front tires looked to be slanted or crooked. There was an alignment that was completed that I specifically stated while making the appointment I didn't want it and you told my wife that it needed to be done. Obviously the technician who completed this service needs to be reprimanded or fired. He placed my wife and myself life's in danger due to his incompetence. What would of happened if either of us was driving when this happened???? Saturday morning my wife contacts your establishment and explains what was going on with the vehicle, they ask her to drive the vehicle to you. I can't believe the service department would ask a customer to put their self in jeopardy driving an unsafe vehicle. They then ask if we wanted the vehicle towed. My wife stated yes, that this whole issue was due to your negligence anyway. They then informed her it wouldn't be until Monday till they could tow the vehicle. This whole issue has been an inconvenience. 4 days without a second vehicle is unacceptable not to mention the cost associated with this incident. I would recommend you take your customers safety and put it at the top of your priorities. I wouldn't recommend anyone to do business with you.

In my 79 years, I have never been treated so special by the GM and salesperson ((Alex) in all cars my wife and I purchased. My offer was made, they accepted, delivered the vehicle to my door, and made the whole process spectacular! Highly recommend Alex, and this dealership. By the way, this dealership was over 35 miles from my home in Virginia Beach !

I ve recently moved here (appx 12 months ago) so this was my first time there.I brought my 16 GMC 2500, diesel in for an oil change and to have a diagnostic check. It needed a new sensor in the Def tank. While I waited I checked out (and test drove) a 2022 GMC RT4. I was really tempted! My Service Writer was Patty and the salesman I dealt with was Rocky. Great people I will go there again for service.

Everyone in the service Department was great. Also while I was waiting for the work on my car to be completed, I was in the show room and Rocky approached me asking if I needed any help. I mentioned that my car was getting serviced but that I had a letter from Elizabeth City GMC informing me of a estimated dollar amount on my car value in regards of a trade in. But I mentioned that I am retired and on fixed income so I could not exceed my current car payment amount after a trade in. Rocky said lets look and see what we can do for you. Rocky was very knowlegable and professional. Rocky was very patient with me running the numbers and going above and beyond helping me to see if I could find a newer model at or below my current monthly car payment. I was pretty sure I couldn't upgrade without a car payment increase but Rocky tried to accomodate me. Anyway the only vehicle he could find in my price range was a model 2 years newer than mine and had less than 10,000 miles on it than my car. I guess it was a good deal except I only had 24 months to pay my car off and if I bought the newer model at the same price range of my current payment I would then be starting all over and have 6 more years of car payments. Rocky said he understood and took my name and phone number just incase he found a better deal. So I would recommend Rocky as a salesperson to anyone looking to buy a new or used car at the Elizabeth City GMC

Very busy on Monday when I came for service. Had additional work identified and it was the first time I had experienced the on-line notification and approval system. Seems to work well but shouldn t completely substitute for face-to-face explanation when additional work and expense is identified. But Jennifer was happy to take me through it and advise on next steps. Jennifer and Patti are stars! Tough and demanding front line staff role but they are THE BEST!

I came in with my check engine light on with no appointment and Ms. Jennifer took me in and they repaired my truck. I told her that I was from Mississippi and she said I got you . She is a very sweet lady and if you have car trouble go to Biggs GMC Buick in Elizabeth City, NC. They re some of the nicest people.

Gave me a great deal.but mislead me on features and performance capabilities of a 2023 truck. Once sign papers said they have 100 percent NO return policy so buyers be ware if you are mislead or don't like your vehicle when you get it home. They said happy to trade it back in with a loss.. kinda sketchy way to do business..

I do not recommend using the collision center at this place. I brought my vehicle in for some work and they didn't call to update me for 3 weeks. Then when I called I was told it would be done a certain day and I waited around several times and no call to pick up. I had to call every other day to try and figure out what was going on. I was told several different things and told I would be called back and never was. 5 weeks in and they had to bring it to another dealership for some work and said it was brought there the day before but when I called the other place it wasn't there. We went into the collision center confused and wondering where our vehicle was and the manager was extremely rude to us and made many excuses. We finally got our truck back two days after that and noticed when we got home someone from there left trash in the bed of my truck. Highly dissatisfied.

When I got my truck back. There were oil handprints on the door, oil on the window molding, oil on the grill chrome, oil on the engine cover and oil footprints on the driver carpet. On the drive home i could smell oil burning on the exhaust. After parking the truck in the garage i pulled it out the next morning and noticed 5 oil spots under the truck. That tells me the oil was all over the skid plate.

This goes to the collision repair shop that's part of the dealership and Geico's representative person. I recently brought my wrecked car to this dealership. From one of the Geico's customers rear ended me. After all the estimates. They were trying to lie to me about what was wrong with the car prior the accident. What they didn't know is I had camera footage pointing out on both ends of the car that includes front and back. I sent the footage to GEICO MJ supervisor thathe looked over it found out she was trying to lie / manipulates and try not to repair the car back to normal before the accident. Also I got an estimate from the dealership trying to say it would have cost them $1,200 bucks to fix the rear door of my car. All acts reality when I took it to a real collision repair shop that was actually certified technicians/ Etc. They found out what was really wrong wrote up an estimate for less than 1,200 bucks. Sent it to GEICO MJ supervisor directly. Less than 2 hours they're cutting me a check for that amount to send it to that collision repair shop. So anyone in the future has Geico's automobile insurance or got in a wreck by one of their clients do not follow the recommendations on who they take it to. Due to a lot of reasons behind that one of the major reasons is they are in with Geico to save money when it comes to non pain clients for their company.

I did not have an appointment and the earliest appointment was the following week, but I needed to get back home to Florida. Jennifer was very nice and professional and worked me into the days's schedule. They replaced my windshield motor and I am able to make it back home on time. Thanks again to Jenifer at the service desk!!!

The Parts and Service Department were outstanding! I was visiting Elizabeth City for a wedding had a sudden flat tire on a stormy Friday evening. Most of the tire service businesses were either closing or were closed. I reached the parts department 5 minutes before they were slated to close. They were the only business in town that had the tire that would fit my car. Hearing my dilemma, the Parts department immediately contacted the Service Department to request the special service to install the tire so that I would be able to travel home the next day. Although their schedule was totally full, they squeezed my car in so that I could attend the wedding and travel back to my home in Virginia. Without this extra effort, I would have been forced to either remain in a hotel for several days waiting for a tire to be shipped at great expense or renting a car to drive to Virginia to secure a tire on Saturday and driving back to Elizabeth City on Monday for installation. Both options would have been expensive and inconvenient. But, because of the extra efforts of the parts and service departments, the huge problem turned into a manageable one. My Sincere Thanks! Bravo Zulu!
