The owner is a great person and helped me a lot on my sand rail I recommend this place if you have a dune buggy or sandrail

Beware - good reviews are probably his good friends. This guy had our buggy 3 years! He promised several times he d have it back to us , we finally picked it up after his shop was ran into by a drunk driver? The drunk driver also hit and trashed the back end of our buggy. The thing still doesn t run correctly - doesn t go into reverse! We paid to have it painted prior to it going to this shop and now it s trashed and back end will need to be repaired and painted! I have talked to SEVERAL others that have had the same terrible experience with this shop! He doesn t need to have insurance on his shop because he works on classic vehicles or some other weird excuse!Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

Tony is an amazing person to talk with if you have questions. So far, every time that I have needed a part for my sand rail he has had them in stock, and the prices were VERY reasonable. I managed to get a rear disk brake conversion from him cheaper that I could find one on EBAY!!!! Amazing selection of parts, and if he does not have it, he will get it!! Great place for anything beetle/sandrail/buggy related!!

Did an order online and said local pickup and after a few days a box arrived at my door and it was my order from Tony and team.. one of the best local places to visit and get VW worked on..

Don't waste your time with anyone else. Tony has every part needed to repair dune buggies. He ships fast and has tons of knowledge, he IS INCREDIBLY HELPFUL!!

My experience with Carolina Dune Buggies (CDB) has been absolutely horrible. I started a build with CDB in June of 2017. After waiting 25 months to take delivery of the buggy (I was told it would be a Christmas present in December 2017) all I have been doing is fixing it. Wiring, total engine rebuild, front-end rebuild, brake work...what a nightmare. The dune buggy has less than 400 miles on it. Beware of this place!

Tony and the guys at Carolina Dune Buggies are Great. They really know the in's and out's of air cooled VWs. They are all really nice to talk to and you never feel hurried. Some of the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have experienced in a long time. They just recently converted my Manx Clone to 4 wheel disc brakes WOW what a difference. Also changed it over to elelctronic ignition and did some other service work as well. I would highly recommend Carolina Dune Buggies to anybody in need of the services they offer. I drove nearly 200 miles one way to reach them for the work they did. Two trips at almost 400 miles each trip. One to drop off the other to pick up. Well worth the time and effort I will not hesitate to make the drive again when I need something else. THANKS AGAIN to Tony and the guys at Carolina Dune Buggies!!!
