I recently (early February) purchased a used automatic transmission from this salvage yard. I purchased it for a customer of mine that needed a replacement transmission in their vehicle. I own a small independent auto repair shop and have been doing this a very long time. This is not my first experience with Wagners but I will say it will be my last. I will say this much. In years past I never had any issues with them. However policies and customer service has clearly changed over there. I installed the transmission and the unit it did not make it very long. My customer has the vehicle towed back to me and I diagnose and confirm the transmission has indeed failed. When I email my sales individual who i had already dealt with, the response I get is that they do not have one on hand, they can get me one, but it will cost an extra $250 over my original purchase price because this one is lower mileage. Mind you, I already had invested $150 on top of the original purchase price, because after installing the transmission (the first one I got) I removed the pan to replace the filter/fluid only to find that the transmission pan was so damaged from underneath it literally destroyed the shift solenoids and internal transmission harness. Obviously I had to replace the solenoids, harness and pan to take care of my customer. It is certainly not my customers fault this happened. The job had to get done. I took pictures of everything beginning to end. I tried to get reimbursed for the $150 I personally invested in this unit and denied it because I had already addressed the issue prior to notifying them. Bummer, but I sucked it up for my customers sake. Now this unit is trash and after some back and forth I finally agree to pay the EXTRA $250 to get a replacement unit (again out of my pocket to take care of my customer, I'm now out an extra $400 over what the original price of the transmission was!) It's been over a week and I still don't have the replacement unit and have not had an email or any communication in over 2 days. Meanwhile my customers vehicle is in my shop and I can't take care of them they way they need to be. This whole experience has left me absolutely disgusted with this establishment and I will surely never return. I'm well within the 90 stated warranty period and have followed all their guidelines and then some. As a small business owner myself this I can say, it's shameful crooked behavior.

Don't waste your time. Looked my part up online, showed in stock. Called ahead of time to confirm and have it pulled. After the hour long drive to get there. part had not been pulled and no one knew anything about it. Then one of the ladies called to have the part pulled had me wait another hour. She then handed me a sheet saying it was ready and I needed to go with this gentleman to verify it. After looking for it with him for 15 Minutes. Part wasn't anywhere on the shelf to verify and she tells me that the puller says it's not in the car they don't have it. Then smiles and says I hope you didn't drive far. Really. So if your shopping for parts don't waste your time. And if you're going to use walkie-talkies to communicate with pullers and the front counter how about call when your looking at the car and the freaking parts not there instead of wasting people's time. And how about verifying you have the part when someone calls and take it off the website if you don't actually have it.

Never trust them again!

Upon arrival I stood in front of a worker behind the desk.... there was no one in front of us....but the elderly woman with glasses on didn't look up to acknowledge us, but proceeded to speak to a woman completely behind and to the left of us, saying are you ready and then the woman stpped in front of us. Well as a 57 year young woman, I totally remembered feeling (WOW!!! Customer Service is Really going to Hell in a hand basket)......I mean this woman didn't even Freaking Acknowledge us, saying absolutely nothing!!!! Now had she looked up and said, sorry I was helping this young lady and will be with you in a moment, that would've made all the difference in this visit.... to top it off they didn't even have the battery for my car in which I was told to bring mine in for 40$Exchange. I can't help feeling like this woman was the one who took that call, as it was filled with no customer service as well. Will second think this location of car graveyard in the future..... the gentleman that helped was, apologetic and courteous however.

They have a good selection of parts and great staff. You can search the website for parts you're looking for. Some stuff is already removed from the cars and sitting in their warehouse, ready to go. Everything else, they'll pull for you. They won't start pulling it until you get there, though, presumably to make sure they're not pulling parts for someone who's going to flake.I highly recommend it. I got my transmission, rear axle, and driveshaft from them, have had no problems with them, and saved maybe $2-3k by now

I'm not really the review type, but when I have an experience as bad as I had at this place, I've got to warn people. So I drove 2 hours from Fayetteville after I called them to confirm the presence of a part, a fender. This is a difficult to find item so I was pretty happy about it, and she assured me they had it. Anyway, I get there and ordered the fender to be pulled. I waited for almost an hour for the washed up guy with the cheesy stud earring to tell me that the part is bad. Not only that, but he had a smile on his face as he told me that info like it was entertaining to him. It took everything within me to contain myself, also, I had my young son with me so I couldn't do that. It took me 3.5 hours to get home because of raleigh traffic. Wouldnt have been that bad, had I had the part I drove there for. So $50 in gas and 6 hours of completely wasted time. The ladies there were sweet and brought my son a bottle of water because their dispenser was out.

I ve only picked up parts from here a few times. Efficient and easily accessible. Front counter staff helpful in making the process happen as quickly as possible. The guys having to do the yard and parts removal could use a couple snicker bars.

Have been trying to contact someone at this business for almost 2 weeks about a motor I purchased and is not as described. Looking for a solution but given .no response I'm feeling I'm being ignored. Motor said it had 47,000 miles and no issues which is not the case. Immediate faults when starting. I am just looking for a solution to my problem and just would like some help getting the motor back to where it was advertised

Website has a pic of their sign and that's the only way to figure out what their hours are. Sign says they're open on Sat. so I called to ask some questions about a part I need. Lady answered and was kinda snippy and didn't know any answers. She hung up on me, so I called back. She answered again and then said they were closed, so I apologized for bothering her. My questions weren't out of line -- I just needed to know what to expect as a first time customer before driving all the way there. I bought what I needed elsewhere.

Friendly, fast, pragmatic and affordable. My new go-to for keeping old cars and trucks on the road. They do not allow Customers to wander around; it's not U-Pull-It or Pick-Ur-Part.They have a great and very fast system:You tell them what you want and if they have it (or might have it) they send a mechanic out to fetch the part. You can go with him if you want/need to provide details but you don't get your hands dirty! :-)The roving mechanics have their own mobile tool rig: an old car or truck with all their tools. It is a very cool way to do it.Highly recommended!

Other than the intense odor of weed, (probably just a customer, but worthy of mentioning) I would recommend Wagner's for parts. The staff was efficient and had my part immediately ready. Fair price. They recommended another company to put my tire on the wheel. That company did the work for free! Pleased.

Wagner's had exactly what I needed and the best part is that all I had to do is call and ask. They have a great database with parts and prices of everything they have on the lot.I was behind on my inspection because the Hyundai dealership was well or if my price range for a taillight. The lights worked but the red cover had a small crack in it. Wagner's was a life saver. As others have said, do not turn into the industrial park like Google Maps tells you to, just drive a bit further and you'll see the entrance.

Call service was disrespectful even after I drove 20 mins there the man called me a liar in front of everyone.i didn't argue or even respond just embarrassed then wad told they couldn't help with my battery. Tears as I left because it was already overwhelming going through car issues and the respect level was even worse.

Yesterday I called for a specific part that i needed and the person who assisted me over the phone, wasn t much help. He had told me that they didn t have the part and he left it at that. After the call, i decided to go to the store and speak to another team member to see if they could help me, and Erick Mondragn was able to find the part i needed. I appreciate his help very much! Thanks Erick for your help!!!!

I called ahead to make sure that the middle stow and go seats I'd seen online were STILL available BEFORE I drove from Lillington TO Durham.I was assured they HAD the seats and when i got there, the only seats they had for me were a bench seat that I couldn't use.Was a waste of time and gas money to go there.Found my seats at Mclamb's in Fuquay Varina instead. Not only did Mclamb's have my seats BUT they also threw in the floor cover part because the floor cover I had wouldn't of worked with the seats I bought. AND a sweetheart named Miguel helped me install the seats AND cover.****Stow and go seats pictured here I FOUND at MCLAMB'S in Fuquay Varina NOT at Wagner's****

Friendly. They have a dedicated Spanish speaking person also. They have good parts and prices but be patient. Bc you do have to wait for them to get someone to go get the part you want and bring it back to you. Will definitely buy from here again if the need arises.

I called in this morning for a part and I talked to a representative and they said that they had the part available. But then when I enter the store they said that the part was already paid for and promised to another customer because of eBay. Not only they wasted my time coming out there and they were very rude and dismissive of my time. I ve used them before and their policy of no cash return and they only give you a voucher to come back and work with them again.Service: Part finding & extracting

Simple and straightforward transactions, you have 30 days if you want to return the product with a 15% restock fee or a 90 day replace with a like product. I'm not sure if this policy applies to all items or the one I purchased, the person will tell you their policy just before you pay. Overall, they have a wide selection and they are open on Saturdays as well, check website for hours. Nothing fancy, you ask for a product, you wait in the office, while they get it from a vehicle in their yard, you get to inspect it visually, you pay for it and pick it up. They should clean up the approach road and the office, no need for that to look like a junk yard. The staff is precise and don't expect anything fancy, just simple straightforward conversations. They accept cash and popular credit cards for payment.

They were able to tell me over the phone if they had what I needed. Pretty impressive place to drive into. Quick service at the counter. They brought me my part to inspect. Easy check out. Clearly informed me about the return policy. They carried my parts to my car. Nice folks, too.
