Absolutely the worst towing company I have ever experienced, first they towed my car from my own parking that I pay for because I had an old registration sticker on my license plate (registration was current). I received no warning prior to the towing. The towing company came to our neighborhood at 2:00am and began searching cars, I was never notified that my car was towed so I thought it was stolen.Then when I called, I was told I had to pay $360 dollars to get my car back. That should be criminal, do you really feel good about yourselves stealing money from people?Upon arriving, I could not find anyone on site so I gad to wait 20+ minutes for someone to come and take my car out. I was told I can only pay cash (most likely a money laundering business). Then i was given no receipt or breakdown of why I was charged this ungodly amount.Any property management that decides to use this company is just as malicious as the towing company itself. HORRIBLE, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

These people are scammers plain and simple, I can see why the city of Durham does not contract with them. Towed my car after saying it was abandoned and illegally parked when the lot isn't even marked properly. They're advertised as 24/7 that's for emergency towing, so why was your driver out towing vehicles at 2am on a Saturday night? Oh but it gets better ontop of charging me $350 and initially stating cash/debt/cashapp they back tracked and said cash only which is against Durham Ordinance, I had to beg to use cashapp; they held my vehicle not in a secured lot but boxed in with a bus blocking it in a parking lot at a completely different address which they refused to disclose to me when I asked where I could pick the vehicle up until I agreed to pay them. The owner also informed me that although he could confirm the vehicle was in their inventory that he did not know the location because the driver towed the vehicle. They never informed me or made an attempt, I only found out after contacting Durham PD because I thought my car had been stolen since everyone else parked in that same lot was still there. Reporting this to Durham PD and the State Attorney General Office so they can investigate further; the only good thing is I got my money back thru my bank so shout out to USAA , try scamming someone else you criminals

Obviously no one ever wants to be towed, but John and the manager here were incredibly helpful and kind. My car had been wrongfully towed (through no fault of their own) and they went out of their way to help get the situation figured out as quickly as possible. I had a full refund for the tow in less than 24 hours.

Last night my car was towed. I wasn t upset about it because it s Durham & that s just how Durham is. What I do not appreciate is that this place of business is SUPPOSE to be open 24/7 as advertised. I found my car at this location right after it was towed, called them a millions times with no answer or return phone call. Now this morning about 15 minutes ago, someone called me and asked did I leave a message. I mean duh you obviously see the damn phone call and heard the voicemail. So now he s saying I have to pay $395 and be here by 9am and if im 15 minutes late, it s an extra $50. So I m here at 8:48am, I asked him I thought y all were open 24 hours. He said if you get towed you have to schedule an appointment. I said that makes no sense and he insisted that I call management on Monday, which is fine. He s just doing his job. He was very respectful young man

After calling about 7 other tow truck companies in the Raleigh area, Victory Towing and Recovery was the only company to pull through. Every other company was either unavailable or gave me the run-around telling me they would call me "right back" with a quote, only to never call back. The dispatcher I spoke to at Victory was very polite and efficient. She was able to give me a quote within minutes, and a time frame of when the driver would be able to get to my location. Matt was able to come to my location within about an hour of my initial contact with the company. My van's rear wheels would not move in reverse at all, but my van was unfortunately broke down in a one way driveway that made pulling it out backwards the only option. Matt was determined to accomplish the tow and was able to problem solve through a difficult tow situation. Pricing was comparable to the one other quote I was able to get. Thanks Victory for great service all around!

I would like to start by saying that I received a tow warning message on my vehicle for expired tags -totally valid- I am upset at whoever placed said sticker on my car, being that it left residue covering the ENTIRE left side mirror. I tried calling and was hung up on at least three times. Unprofessional and ignorant, being that the car is unsafe to drive since the side mirror is not useable. Next time, do better.

Matt was absolutely fantastic and is clearly highly experienced. He managed to carefully tow my lowered Miata with a wrecker and didn't damage a single thing. My lowered project car unfortunately broke down at a car show, needed a tow back to my house almost an hour away. Was recommended Victory and had Gene help me out towing my car home. Took very good care of my car ensuring nothing would happen to it. Very professional and helpful service, super nice guy and had a great conversation with him as he hauled my car and myself back home. I would first like to say I feel so bad for leaving a review so late because the owners of this establishment were so kind to me. I really appreciate them and what thye did for me the night my tire just blew. I was coming from Greensboro on my way to get my son from D.C and when my tire blew. It was late at night and I was in an unfamiliar area. I called around to so many places. I had no luck, no hope in anyone helping me. They either were closed, did not tow where I was, or they stopped towing for the night. I cried and cried in my car, just praying and crying. I called my sister and she told me to try again. I cried and held. I was just so upset. I wanted to get my son and had no way of doing so. I finally calmed down and I called Victory towing. They were so nice, so kind, and so helpful to me. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. They not only towed my car back to their shop, they replace my tire, and put oil in my car for my long drive to D.C. I am so thankful that they not only picked up the phone that night. I am so thankful that God moved them to help me that night. I am so thankful of their service. On Sept 27, they released the truck from the tow and it rolled back into the house, damaging the brick exterior. They said that they would repair the damage that weekend, but almost 2 months later they have made no move to do so

My purse was stolen out of my car with the key and I called Verizon roadside and they sent me 3 different companies that didn't have the truck needed to be able to get the car home. We called Victory and they were to me in 15 minutes after us waiting 4 hours for Verizon to try and get us help. Walter was so nice and so careful with our car and had us from call to home in less than a hour from calling! Highly recommend this company!Services: Special vehicle towing, Car towing

I was told about victory towing by a separate roadside assistance service who came out to give me a jump when my alternator died. They exclaimed that they have a very "can do" attitude no matter the situation. Other towing companies either couldn't or wouldn't tow me with my trailer attached.I placed the call around 2AM and was picked up in less than 15mins after submitting payment. They were even able to accommodate my request to use dollies when they picked up the front tires.The ride was safe and smooth and there was also some good conversation to be had. During the drop off they were able to leave it exactly as if I parked it myself. I'll be calling again if I ever need it!Services: Special vehicle towing, Car towing

Matt at Victory Towing was a tremendous help!! My car was parked in a field at a winery and wouldn t start. AAA was no help because they don t contract with any tow truck companies in our area that have 4 wheel drive. I called Victory Towing and Matt came right out. He was professional, kind, and helpful and was able to get my car out of the field. So grateful for their assistance today!Service: Car towing

Called to get a quote on getting my car towed to the dealership. Lady on the phone asks about my car then quotes me $100 bucks. So I booked them. Fast forward to the tow guy arriving . He gets out and immediately tells me it s going to be an extra $65 bucks because its AWD. I needed a tow so I paid it but definitely wouldn t recommend or use again. My son and his girlfriend had their vehicle towed. What do you think the rate was? $200? $250? $275? No, $450!?!? $450!!!WTFudge. Other cars were parked outside the club along the street. They 'assumed' it was acceptable. They had out of state tags.....perhaps that's why their vehicle was selected over the others. When we called to inquire (in a very respectful manner) if a more reasonable rate could be achieved Nathan stated "I don't make the rates, it is also $50 a day and the owner would not be available until Monday". He wasn't disrespectful. I am grateful for that but that rate is Very Disrespectful. $450!!!???!! $50 a day!!!???!! This provides a clear depiction of your motives to take advantage of people. CLEARLY. K.I.K. Karma is Kind.

I was stranded in a construction site and my car wont start. I called Victory Towing and Gene immediately responded. Honestly, Gene is a hero. He started as soon as I called and came to my rescue. He also gave me a ride to the auto service shop. He carefully dropped it off at the service and got a couple of photos too.During the drive, we had great conversations and I had a really good time talking with Gene. Another thing to mention is the ride he gave me back home from the service shop since I did not have a car. He is one of the kindest souls I have ever met and this service made my day brighter. I moved here for work and I have the worst experience with jobs. I don t be the only one who drive my car . The first time I ran out they lent me a gas can to put gas in my car his wife was literally around when it happen. Helped me no problem. Today the same situation but this time I needed a tow truck Mr. Banks helped no problem he sent Mat everybody was nice I got to where I was going. Good vibes and every time was you fast. The only reason they answer the telephone is that NO ONE, including the Durham Walmart will use them any more. They damaged my car transmission and ruined two tires. They also changed the price three times. On the third time, I had the police with me to witness, and they backed down on the price. They say they are 24 hours, but did not answer the phone all night so I could retrieve my vehicle after they knew I was at their lot to pick up my vehicle.Service: Car towing

Professional, fast, friendly. I'm incredibly happy that I called them early in the morning to tow the box truck out of an embarrassing position. I didn't wait long before two amazing people arrived. I even received a DIY tip if I were ever in a similar situation. That's truly caring for the customer and I love it. Received a warning for expired tags. Got my car tags renewed and I am still waiting for the new tags to come in the mail. I saw them in my apartment complex this morning parked in front of my car trying to tow my car.

Victory Towing & Recovery were very professional and went out of their way to make sure my car was towed/delivered to the auto shop safely. They communicated effectively throughout the process and even sent me a photo of my car safe and sound at the mechanic. Hopefully, I will not be in need of another tow anytime soon- but I would definitely use Victory again.Service: Car towing
