Great team!! Start to finish buying our 2024 F250 Diesel Truck we had a top notch experience with the Sales and Finance team. And then we bought a few things from Parts and had items installed via Service again a wonderful experience!!

Best car buying experience ever. My time felt valued and it was the quickest purchase by far. The team that took cared of me, sales rep, management, financing, were unbelievable. They worked great as a team and made my experience the best it possible could be. Thank you very much, my wife was so happy. Thank again, Dave, Dan, and Mario, my first experience with u was outstanding.

Buying a used car from Bobby and Terrence was an exceptional experience. They were knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to assist throughout the process, ensuring they'd answered all my questions about the vehicle. Brandon, the finance representative, made the paperwork seamless and stress-free, offering clear explanations and valuable insights. Overall, it was a pleasure dealing with this team, and I highly recommend them for anyone looking to purchase a quality used car.

Great experience today with Bobby Woodell and the rest of the Ford team there at University Ford. Service was fast and efficient and everyone - especially Bobby was so helpful in helping us through the purchase process. I highly recommend this agent and this business! Thanks again Bobby!

Good experience and better out the door price. Took a 1/2 star away for pushy finance guy trying to sell me a warranty. The other 1/2 star is because the car didn t have a feature I inquired on but I never got an answer to, partially my fault too for not following up..but overall very professional and friendly sales staff and the best of all they did not require I purchase mandatory dumb add ins kine $1000 cloth service or $2000 lojack- they car was fairly clean and serviced with full tank of gas - many dealers do this shady practice to jack up the list price but not these guys tax, tag, title and dealer doc fee $800 but this is typical but no hidden fees which appreciate then again they did try very hard to sell me the $2500-3500 warranty

My husband and I just completed our purchase of a 2023 Lightning through Sheldon James at University Ford. What a pleasure to have experienced an internet based purchase with such a great salesman. Honestly worth the 2+ hour drive each way to have such a professional, positive and overall satisfying experience. We always have a lot of questions and need to know that our sales representative has our interest at heart. The entire team was great at University Ford but I'd have to say working with Sheldon was truly outstanding!

Disappointing experience. The dealership is run down and very outdated, with antiquated sales procedues. Tiny claustrophobic sales offices with no windows. A $900 doc fee that didn't include tax, tax, & title, (so basically an extra $1,000 fee for their for personal internal paperwork, nearly double the NC dealer average). They lose interest if you aren't financing or trading in & can't make extra money off you there.Even with all those concerns, I agreed to pay full asking price including their $900 internal paperwork fee, less $250 (the value of the vehicle transportation they offered, but I didn't need), and they refused to budge 1 penny. I'm sure the sold the car 5 minutes later for full asking price, but if they can't make a small $250 concession like that on a $75,000 purchase, I'd rather go elsewhere and have a more pleasant experience even if it costs more. I hope the sales manager is happy he got his $250, but the owner of this dealership should train their employees to treat people reasonably. I walked over $250 on principle, but I've now got a story to tell everyone about University Ford Durham & how Ford dealerships can still be in 2024. Visit a Hendrick dealership. It's night and day different.

My buying experience at University Ford was amazing. Unlike other dealerships, where they constantly hassle you, ours was a hassle free no pressure experience. Our sales person, Bobby Woodell, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle that we were interested in, and was quick to answer any questions that we had. Between dealing with the sales managers, the finance department, and Bobby, they made the overall car by experience a pleasant one. I highly recommend going to University Ford for all of your car buying needs. We will definitely be back to visit Bobby and the staff at University for future car purchases.

ATTENTION!!! I did try to purchase a vehicle back in January and I chose this dealer because I m always taking my cars to Ford service and I found out that they have a Spanish sales person ALFREDO so I told him that it was perfect that way I understand all the paper work so I decided to buy from him , so he ask me for $1000 deposit which it was good but he never mention that if I don t buy it I will lose my money so after waiting for 1hr 30 min I told him I have to go to work call me when you finish the paper work and running the credit after 3 hr he call me and say all the numbers I told him let me check with the bank so the vehicle it wasn t even in the dealership so after the bank check my credit they say is better if you buy new one so I found a new one in other dealer and let him know you can sale it because I found a new one he try to push me to get an other car that I don t want it the problem is they don t want to give my $1000 dls back this is not my first time buy a brand new vehicle but it was in the particular dealer ALFREDO that s the sales person what a men I thought because he speak Spanish we will understand better

From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcome. The University Ford team treated us as if we were their number one priority. Tony, Larry, Blake and Edwin were all great. I will not hesitate to recommend University Ford to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle.

I had an awesome experience working with Mr.Sheldon! I was looking into the Mach-E EVs and not only did we have a cool test drive experience but he explained all the specs of the car and helped us achieve the best deal despite the obstacles of my trade in. I defiantly recommend University Ford and working with him!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!! If I could give this car dealership a negative rating, I would do it without hesitation. My encounter with them was a full-blown nightmare from start to finish. The moment I set foot on their lot, my gut instinct told me something was seriously wrong. Little did I know, I was in for a rollercoaster of deception and disappointment. Now, let me give credit where it's due: my salesperson, Bobby, was a shining light in the midst of this darkness. However, the rest of the staff were downright horrendous.Picture this: I signed what I thought were all the necessary documents for a car, drove it for a mere week, only to receive a call informing me that the contract wasn't valid. I contacted my loaner and they said they did not receive the necessary documents from the dealership to approve the loan. How do you sell a car without an approval?? I was then casually informed that I'd have to return to the dealership to sign everything again, but this time with a higher payment and more interest. Talk about a slap in the face! When I had the documents inspected by a public notary and another dealership, they discovered a slew of missing documents and questioned how the sale was even processed. Sahin, the finance guy, had the nerve to provide me with unsigned and unnotarized document copies of the sale. It was beyond shady; it was downright sloppy. The cherry on top of this debacle? When I returned to report a suspected mechanical issue with the car, I was met with utter indifference. Instead of addressing my concerns, they brushed me off and refused to provide any assurance regarding the vehicle's condition. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to dispute the terms of my extended warranty, claiming it was a "communication problem" on my end. Ridiculous! And let's not even get started on their abysmal customer service. Once they realized I was dissatisfied, they couldn't care less about me or my grievances. When I requested either my trade-in vehicle or its equivalent value, I was met with resistance from both the store owner and manager. They refused to provide either the value or the vehicle, I had to literally argue to get my possessions back. The entire process was a chaotic mess they couldn't even locate my vehicle on their lot, threw the keys at me, I had to argue for the additional keys I provided, in which they struggled to locate, and expected me to trek over an hour to find it myself. To top it off, they refused to provide me with a temporary plate, essentially forcing me to drive illegally. And when I asked for a temporary plate to drive legally, they callously refused, saying, "if you don't buy our car, we won't buy your car." It was outrageous! And to add insult to injury, after I was forced to drive illegally, they had the audacity to call me a few hours later with an offer for the car I had just driven off with. Unbelievable! In conclusion, this dealership is nothing short of a nest of vipers, preying on unsuspecting customers with their deceitful tactics. Spare yourself the agony and avoid this place like the plague. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

Brought my 2020 Ford Explorer ST in for some needed maintenance. Oil Changed, Rotate & Balance, Alignment, and some other small stuff. I told them i would be waiting on it since i had nothing to do for the day. all said and done i was in and out in less that 2 hours which i thought was stupid fast giving it was a holiday weekend and the amount of other people waiting. if you need service done to your car ask for Will. he is the only service writer i trust with any of my ford products. He always shoots it straight on what is needed and what can wait. Best Damn Writer i have had the pleasure of working with. keep up the great work.

We ordered a Mach-e from University Ford and it couldn't have been easier. Bobby did a great job from start to finish. He always let us know when there was a major milestone on the build and made time for me in his schedule the day I took delivery. TJ was also fantastic at getting us a great rate advocating for us to get the available incentives grandfathered in. Our CA Rt 1 actually cost us less the day we took delivery than the day we ordered it! My 8 year old even thought everyone at the dealership was 'super nice'

We purchased a used car from University Ford. The level of customer service when it came time to purchase the vehicle was underwhelming. Brandon, our sales representative, was less than helpful in answering our questions and made us feel like we were a burden. In addition, he stated the car had been detailed and was ready for us; however, the interior, as shown in the pictures, didn t appear to have been touched by a vacuum or wiped down by a cleaning solution. The compilation of poor customer service and questionable integrity is the reason we won t be returning to University Ford or purchasing a Ford vehicle in the future.

We were impressed with the dealership in its focus, service and preparation for our sales visit. Our salesman, Sheldon, was very personable and knowledgeable and answered all our questions well. The buying process went very smoothly and the car is immaculate. I would not hesitate to do business again with University Ford, particularly if Sheldon is our salesman.

I just purchased a 2021 Ford Bronco. I was assisted by Russell Brown (Sales Rep) and Brandon B. (Finance Officer). Both gentlemen were extremely professional, quite willing and enthusiastic to learn something new, very helpful and very down to earth. I had a great experience at University Ford....except for the long wait of making sure which deal and which plan worked best.

Do not buy from this dealership they do not honor the price that is listed on the internet and do not respond to inquiries about the transaction. I overpaid for the vehicle I purchased and am legally obligated to pay but don't make the same mistake I did. Stay away from University Ford in Durham. They have lost any referrals from me and I will take my vehicle to another Ford store for service. In my opinion, they don't care about anything except the sale and have no real concept of customer service. They practice customer disservice.Update 3/8 got call from dealership and the rep said he would look into it but I am not holding my breath that there will be a positive resolution but if they see the errors of their ways, I will update.

Top notch sales experience. We were in a situation where we had to replace a car that suffered a catastrophic engine failure. I was extremely turned off by the Chevrolet dealer and sought out a different solution. Bobby Woodell was great to work with and knows his business. No high pressure sales tactics, he simply answered our questions and let us make a decision that was right for us. This is a place where we will do business again.

I pre-ordered my vehicle with University Ford.As my vehicle was being produced, shipped, and prepped for delivery I was kept informed of all the details. My sales person, Bobby Woodell was wonderful. He even went out of his way to make the process as easy as possible. Bobby picked me up from my house in my new vehicle and let me test drive it back to the dealership. At at the dealership, the paperwork was straightforward and no hidden surprises. Very quick process. The best part, to me, was that there was no pressure to purchase any additional packages.I d highly recommend both Bobby and University Ford.

I just picked up my Bronco Outer Banks, and could not be more happy. I ordered it back in October and it came much quicker than expected. My Salesman Bobby Woodall was awesome updated me at every turn, from Build to Pickup. Bobby went over all the bells and whistles the Bronco came with and has been very helpful. I will definitely be back

Sales side is great. I have purchased 2 new vehicles from UFD. They do a great job with communication and providing an expeditious process. I've spent hours at other dealerships to complete a purchase transaction, but I was in and out inside of 90 mins for both vehicles at University Ford. Both sales people I dealt with were very nice, communicative, and diligent with meeting my needs.Parts department is another story. My latest car came in with a chip in the windshield. The sales team caught it and told me before I took the car. The seat recline lever broke as well. The task then went over to the Parts Department. That's when this whole event goes 180 degrees and the competency level goes out the window. I've been waiting 4 months this squared away. I call them to give me and update and no one can track down the parts.
