I came here yesterday to get my car inspected and had a great experience. The staff are very friendly and the prices are fair. They were even able to work me into their schedule for the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this location!

I had an exceptional experience at Precision Auto Tune. Despite arriving to find a long line of cars ahead of me, the team managed to get me in and out with remarkable efficiency. What stood out was not just the speed of their service but also their courteous approach. Best place to take your car last minute. I came straight here after hitting a pot hole and tearing my car up! Mr. Poe (the manager) took care of me and made sure my car was back in top notch condition. He has a very comforting spirit and makes sure to check in on you and make conversation while you wait. The mechanic (Mr. Brian) was awesome at explaining to me everything that went wrong and the updates definitely gave me peace of mind. The best part is, it didn t cost me an arm and a leg! I ll definitely be returning, always keep this place in your queue.

Every time I ve gone to Precision Tune Auto Care, I ve been treated with the utmost respect, given an accurate time frame for when the work would be completed, and left feeling like I paid a very reasonable price for the service. Today, I went in because I had a broken headlight (or so I thought). It turns out it was just a loose connection, and it was fixed when the mechanic put my car back together. Instead of charging me for the time it took to load and take apart my car or lying about the problem to try to squeeze more money out of me, they let me go without paying A CENT. I got my headlight fixed for free. This just goes to show how, unlike with most other businesses, the people at Precision Tune are honest and generous with their customers. I don t plan on going anywhere else.

My issue was the time they took! We gave the car at 1:30pm and the car went in for service at 5:05pm. They don t give any updates until you ask them.They should have told us it would take 5-6 hrs for state inspection and oil change.Literally we were sitting and waiting for them to finish up the service.They delayed a lot. Never coming back here!!!!

Friendly staff and fair prices! Service is quick and efficient. They also got me a great price on 4 new tires! I trust they aren't trying to price gouge me or recommend services I don't need.

Jerry Poe took GREAT care of me. Working as a government employee, it s hard to sometimes schedule car appointments but he was able to fit me in last minute for an alignment. He was so kind and knowledgeable and was able to even teach me a few things that I didn t know about my car. Now I can finally cross this off my long list of to-do s . Thanks Jerry!!!!

Excellent customer service. The manage at the location at Chapel Hill Blvd went above and beyond to make sure my heat was working before the vehicle left. His team also went above and beyond to ensure that. I will always go there for my auto servicing. I know I can trust the team there to be honest and upfront about everything. Thanks to the team for fixing a problem that others couldn t.

Normally I go to the 54/55 location, however I have many errands to run and can use the walking, ha! So I decided to try out this location for my oil change. J. Poe was friendly and you can tell he enjoys interacting with customers. I highly recommend this location! No appointment needed, just be sure to call in advance to see what the wait time is or just drop your car off and run your errands! What a great way to get in shape while getting things done!

Been coming here for over four years for oil changes, tire work, alignments, and other minor fixes. They ve been nothing but lovely and helpful. Sometimes there s a long wait, but that s just the way it is when you go to a popular and reputable location. They re patient, professional, and clearly value their customers. Highly recommend for any auto needs you have.

I recommend Precision Tune Auto Care on Durham-Chapel Hill Blvd because they get the work done quickly and at a fair price. The team is kind and Jerry Poe was super helpful in squeezing me in for new brakes. I will definitely be back for any future car needs!

Had such a great experience with Jerry P. and Brian from Precision tune and auto! Awesome service and patience, happy and willing to answer any questions I had. Overall a really positive experience for a young lady still getting used to car maintenance and repairs! 100% will be coming back for service here in the future. Bonus is they re right next to Durham rescue mission and it s easy to kill a lot of time in there while you wait.

The service provided by Precision Tune was excellent. The staff were respectful. Mr J. Poe made sure I was comfortable and provided updates on my vehicle receiving an inspection. Mr. Poe was very funny but at the same time professional. I have been at the location before and will continue to back for the customer service experience.

J.POE He was very nice and polite. He is a very friendly. He welcome in the shop with open arms. I will got back there again. I will take all my cars to him. He very Kind and straight forward. He gets your car done right and have you back on the road in right and correct timing. He gives you updates on your vehicle and let you know what's really wrong with your vehicle. I love his customer service skills and his honest. He is amazing person. They need more people like him in that location. I recommend that need there vehicle fixed go to this location and ask for Mr POE. He will get you right and he will do it right. The first time and will not make no mistakes either.

This location on 15-501 has the best employees that I ve ever interacted with. From the time I walk in the atmosphere is welcoming. Kenny greets you with a smile great conversation and product detail. The garage manager ( I apologize I can t recall his name). He is very professional and courteous. They explained to me everything that was going on with my vehicle. Advised of future service recommendations. The shop mechanics were extremely diligent on my vehicle. They were truly a life saver with this headlight service change. We had both headlights go out the same day unexpectedly. We were able to get in same day and within 2 hours we were able to get it diagnosed and resolved. J. Poe was so helpful and accommodating. He was so personable and made the process so seamless.

I went in initially because of a bad gas smell in my car, along with a broken fuel line and smoke coming out of my transmission. I was told an initial inspection price, and agreed. I called in throughout the week to get an update on the car, but it seemed like it was not seen at all. I got a call that it was fixed and paid for the service and parts. I come pick it up Monday morning and the car was still in the shop and wasn't even repaired. So I drove off with the same car, same issue, and paid for the repairs. I come back to tell them and they took the car again. This time, I had an even more difficult time getting a status update; I called multiple times throughout the week, was put on hold, and they never answered my voicemails. Eventually I go in and was told that it was fixed. Again, the car still has issues -- the gas gauge is not reading the gas amount properly. All in all, I highly do not recommend this place. I ended up paying over 1k for services and repairs that did not do anything. The guy in the front may seem nice, but he was not responsive to my questions and just took my money. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL OVERCHARGE AND NOT FIX YOUR CAR.

IRRESPONSIBLE, HORRIBLE, TERRIBLE!!! TLDR: don t come here unless you want an extra GIANT METAL NAIL in your nice new tires!!! We used to only do our annual inspections at a very specific place because of hearing all the horror stories of what auto shops will do to people s cars just to get some extra money from them, and we are now just part of that statistic Went to this place because of the good reviews but was more than disappointed, because our car left in worst shape after the annual inspection. After the worker handed our keys back to us and we started driving, we instantly heard some metallic clacking after the wheels started rolling. Only made it about 100 feet before turning back to notify *Precision Tune Auto Care*. We let them know about the giant nail that just happened to get stuck in our tire about taking it back from THEIR HANDS, and they refused to take any responsibility for any of it when it was so obvious what happened they continuously argued that it happened during the 2 minutes we got the car back, and that we would need to pay to change the whole tire. Since there was no way to prove anything under the circumstances, we were forced to leave with a brand new GIANT METAL NAIL in our car tire that we had to pay to deal with elsewhere.PLEASE save yourself the trouble, headache, money, and car tire and DO NOT come here.

On Friday, November 3rd my boyfriend received exceptional service from Kenneth!! After enduring the aggravation of bad service previously, we were blessed that day by him. Kenneth was very attentive to my significant other needs, understanding, attention to detail, patient, and very detailed oriented. I can't thank Kenneth enough for his outstanding service that day. My boyfriend and I are truly grateful to God for you Kenneth!! Also, I'd like to thank Poe for his kindness towards us both as well. Kenneth, kudos to you for a job beyond well done and Poe, thank you so kindly! Blessings to both of you, indeed!!

Amazing service! I had an electrical issue with my vehicle. Everyone was so helpful to resolve the issue. I feel like they bent over backwards to help. Love the place. Will go back.

The service here was very slow. An oil change took 1 hour 30 minutes. Updates were not provided throughout the process. I had to inquire directly with the staff multiple times about when my car would be ready. Though the staff were friendly, I would not recommend getting your oil changed here if you are in a time crunch. A typical oil change should take 30-45 minutes and there is no reason why it should ve taken this long.

I can't believe that I just ask them to check out the ignition, I feel like it doesn't start smoothly. They first can't find my car fab and asking me if I took them. Unprofessional! Second, they feel like the car has no problem and double check with me; I told them I just feel like it doesn't start smoothly, I don't know if there are any problems, you guys have to check for me! They ultimately told me they have to replace the starter and it's 800$, 300 for labor, 400 for the new starter!!! I was shocked! I googled the price and it's just 200$. I asked them what brand and what model of your starter and they said it's just ford starter. OMG, that's the worst answer I have ever got!! I then got another quote from Mr. Dong at Biady Automotive Services. He is super nice and give me an honest quote, 300$, 100 for labor, 200 for the starter, which is the exact price I saw on Auto Parts. I then drive to his shop, having him checked everything. He told me the car has no problem at all!! How dare are they to charge me 800$ for a good car. I was soo mad that I had this experiences while I feft so blessed that I met a nice guy like Mr. Dong! At the end, the Precision Tune auto Care charges me 30$ for inspection labor, which gave me a wrong diagnosis. So I basically pay for 30$ to get a wrong result. How stupid I am!! In comparison, Ms. Dong charged me nothing. I don't mean to flatter him, but you guys just made him looks soo nice.

I cannot give a good review. When I drove my car on the highway to get back home Saturday from getting an oil change, my car sounded so loud. I'm like what the heck they do. I'm not happy and now I have to pay to take it somewhere else to see what the heck is causing it to sound so loud now from an oil change. If I wasn't almost 2 hours away then I would go back and let a manager check it out, but I don't trust that neither.

They replaced my alternator about a year ago. Same day, it shredded and needed replaced. Now, it shredded again almost a year later. New mechanic I used said the last people did it wrong - should not have to replace alternator twice in less than a year. Thousands down the drain because of this place - I would not use again

I went there for a State Inspection. They were busy but I'm glad they fit me right in. It turns out the inspection failed because of an issue with the On Board Diagnostic system. Instead of just turning me away (which a lot of places would have) they did a quick check of the fuses and that was the problem. They did not have to go above and beyond but they did and I was so thankful. Thank you again guys! Excellent customer service! I would recommend them to anyone. Kudos to the guy behind the counter!

Extremely unreliable and unacceptably sluggish service. Despite being initially informed that fixing a flat tire would merely require 30 minutes, I found myself waiting for a staggering 2 hours without receiving any status updates. Shockingly, not a single care was repaired during this time. Left with no choice, I reluctantly had to leave the premises with a flat tire, fearing it might take even more hours to get any assistance. I strongly advise against considering this establishment for any automotive needs.Service: Tires
