I was traveling through town and had a tire balance issue on my Porsche Cayenne. First impressions from the street is this is not the kind of place to balance high speed tires. Wow was I wrong most of those guys have performance cars themselves they understood what was going on with the vehicle address the issue and had me back on the road. They even had another Porsche in there for service. Don't hesitate to use these guys.

Javier, Keith, and Taras are some great guys. Talked to them for about 20 minutes. Had a nail in my tire but they weren't able to repair it because it was on the sidewall. Didn't charge me a dime for looking at it. They seem like some really good guys working here. Its hard to find honest guys in 2024.

I purchased a set of tires from Mr. Tire at Lasalle St in Durham. When I got home I noticed the invoice stated that the tires were more than a year old. I called Mr. Tire to discuss my concern over the age of the tires. I was told the GM would call me back. When I did not hear from the GM I called Mr. Tire back the next day . Again I was told the GM would call me back. When I did not hear from him I hand delivered a letter to Mr. Tire expressing my concern. I never received a response from Mr. Tire. The age of tires is important. Due to deterioration over time, it is recommended that tires be replaced after 8 years even if they have good tread. This is the situation with my old truck which I only drive a couple thousand miles a year. Thus, I lost more than a year in the life of these tires because they are already more than a year old.If I had known I was being sold tires more than a year old, I would not have purchased these tires. Further, I am disappointed the GM at Mr. Tire did not return my calls to discuss my concern.

The staff fixed my flat tire quickly and for an affordable price. They talked me through another car question I had in a transparent way, so I felt like they had my best interest in mind. They were friendly and it was an overall good experience!

I arrived close to closing time with a nail in my tire. Javier was patient, kind, and a quick problem solver. The relief I felt driving off was huge due to the good work by Embrahim. Excellent service overall.

I owe this shop this review. On Thursday, 11 Jan, this shop was kind enough to put air in a tire for me during a day trip to Durham. I had replacement of all four tires scheduled for the next week in Richmond, but on the way to Durham that day, somewhere south of South Hill, I d picked up a nail causing a slow leak in the right front tire.Once alerted to the leak, between South Hill and Durham, I stopped at four service stations hoping to top off the tire with air. NONE had working air pumps. Following an appt at Duke Hospital, the tire was flat. I stopped at three more service stations with non-functional air pumps before finding my way to this shop. I considered replacing all four tires right then, but I don t live in Durham, replacement was scheduled in Richmond, and other things were pressing. A fill at this shop, another at Love s in South Hill, and purchase of a portable compressor just in case, got me home to my own garage and compressor. All the same, I owe Mr Tire this thanks. The technician who helped me was professional, courteous, kind, and a genuine Godsend after SEVEN useless stops earlier (two Sheetz, an Exxon, two BPs, a Shell, and a mom & pop station). Where do people fill their tires these days?! If I lived in Durham, this shop would get my business. As it is, they at least get my thanks, and this review.

Do not trust this place. I bought two front tires from this location three months ago. then went again to an oil change 4 days ago. when I drove back the vehicle after their service, steering wheel started to shake like crazy in the highway. I brought the vehicle back to the location and they said I my front tires are worn and needed to be replaced. when I said I bought these front tires only 3 months ago and still under warranty they said, the tire I bought from them are now at the back of the car. They moved the tires to the back during the oil change! when I ask them to move the new tires back to the front, they refused to do that unless I bought two two tires from them. they went on to say that I can even buy used tires from them if won t and they don t care as long as I buy two tires. Stay away from this place!

I was VERY impressed with the manager Monet Peterson!! She was doing the job of three people while I waited to get my oil changed. I d initially brought my truck to have the tires put on some rims I had and Monet noticed an egg shaped bubble in my tire. She priced some new tires for me at a good price! I went ahead and got my oil changed since I already had an appointment. I ll definitely go back and have them put new tires on my truck because of Monet s honesty and hard work!

I bought a car tire from him for $80. After he replaced it with the old one, he took an additional fee of $79, making the amount $159.

I have visited this Mr. Tire location regularly over the past few months and just visited them one last time prior to moving out of the area. I have always found the team to be professional and helpful. They have been able to diagnose and fix car troubles that other auto service centers have not been successful in diagnosing and fixing. I have found my interactions the manager to be honest, thoughtful, and communicative.

Nice guys but those trees in the parking lot need to go. I just had my car washed and the trees dropped slug like things all over my car.

Got me in fast! They told me what I had to do now. And what I could wait a little. I like that. I hate being pushed into getting work done NOW.

Maybe it was miscommunication, as to the extended warranty company to file the claim with. Nice friendly staff and clean facility.

I brought my vehicle in for new tires and an alignment. They called to tell me the brakes needed to be replaced. I approved the work and I called later in the afternoon to confirm a pickup time (I was going out of town). I arrived at the pickup time they told me, but the vehicle wasn't ready. The brake parts they ordered were not correct and they were waiting on new parts. I requested they forgo the new brakes so I could leave on time. They told me they could not put back on the old brakes but after waiting an hour they magically were able to put the old brakes back on. I requested a discount for the delay and offered to refund me the 'labor cost for the brakes'....they wanted to charge me labor for taking the brakes apart and putting them back together???Fun follow-up: I had to bring the car back because the tires were not properly balanced and the vehicle vibrated on the highway. Once again, I requested a discount. None was given. I was told I'd receive a discount if I brought the car to get the break done.Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else.

After visiting several other places, Andrew Fielding at Mr.Tire off Lasalle St. helped me get a new tire expeditiously! Andrew answered all my questions , took the time to look at my personal tires , and gave me the information necessary to make an informed decision on which replacement to get. I was in and out in less than an hour! Very friendly service I will definitely be back for future tire needs. I highly recommend this location.

My car broke down on last Thursday afternoon while at work (the day of the Hedingham shooting in Raleigh--I live close to that area). After failed attempts to jump the battery and waiting 2.5 hours for AAA to arrive check the battery, AAA told me that it wasn't the battery; it was the starter. They suggested that I wait til Friday morning to have it towed to a repair shop. The local Advance Auto suggested the nearby Mr. Tire. I went on the Mr. Tire website and saw that I could make an appointment (which I did--or 7:30am Friday morning--and I noted that the issue was replacing my starter). The website also states that Mr. Tire would beat any competitor's estimate by 5% (I had an estimate from a competitor for approx $650).When I arrived Friday morning, I was told there'd be an extra assessment fee to see what the problem was (I'd already stated what the problem was), and when I got the price--over $760--I mentioned the competitor's estimate and was told that the 5% offer (never clarified in more detail on the website) only applies to tires. I was told that the actual price was cheaper outside the assessment fee, and I explained I shouldn't have had to pay that either, since I clearly stated in the web appointment setup that it was my starter. While I'm grateful for the replacement, I'm very disappointed with those aspects of my experience. I don't feel I should have to pay an assessment fee when a technician and I already explained what the problem was.

Convenient location, only a 20 minute walk from Duke, though I wouldn't trust them for much more than inspections and oil changes (don't forget your coupon!). I've been getting them here for years because the location is convenient for me. They offer free tire rotations if you bought your tires there, but twice I've caught them not rotating tires when they swore that they had. You might want to mark the tires so you can tell whether they've actually been rotated. Be sure to check your windshield wipers before inspection. If they fail inspection, they'll install very pricey ones.

I ve now had 2 bad experiences with Mr. Tire the first one was last year when I went there for annual inspection and they said that I couldn t pass unless they replaced some kind of belt. They showed me the belt..didn t look worn to me but probably made the inspection worthwhile to them. I decided to overlook that and yesterday went back to have a headlight (bulb) replaced. When I got there they told me only the dealer could do it (this was after I talked with them on the phone before getting there) .anyway I left and drove directly to Firestone who replaced the bulb in a half hour ..so I m done with Mr. Tire

I have no issues with the people who work here. They got my flat tire fixed very quickly, I was impressed. However $47 to fix a flat tire is utterly ridiculous. If I'd have known what the cost was I wouldn't have had them fix it. That's perhaps my bad for not asking ahead of time and just operating under the assumption that everywhere charges 25-35ish for patching a tire. Learned my lesson. Won't be coming back to get ripped off again.

Never come back to this " a place to dig someone else's money " by double price !!! First time they told me about $1750 just for the water freeze engine and when they see i'm calling for someone, they down the price to $940 and i said no. Next time me friend come there for the car pump on MONDAY they didn't change anythings just said " run the pump for 30mins " and they charge her about $475. She didn't tell me until today they got problem again so i came there and talk with them and what i got is " THAT IS HER FAIL, WE JUST LET THE ENGINE ON AGAIN AND IF YOU WANT WE WILL LOOK AT IT AGAIN " and i told them that they check alreadied last day, they said they don't . Mother of ... i hope God will look at you.

My Experience was very good. I made an appointment and they were ready for me at the appointed time. The time the repair took was very acceptable. They did a great job of explaining what the problem with my tire was and what they were going to do to fix it. In the end I paid much less than I thought I was going to have to and had a great experience.

I took my truck to this location for a state inspection and tire pressure light.Usually I dread going to the mechanic, but this was the quickest, most painless visit to a shop I ve ever had! I was in and out in 10-15 minutes. The waiting area was very clean and Mr Guile was curt but personable (perfect, for me.) I definitely plan to make this my regular shop.Side note- while my visit was quick, if you re there a little longer, there s a shopping plaza literally next door with eateries and such so you can easily kill time. Also close to all major highways and a bus route if you d prefer to just leave your vehicle.

I had an excellent experience here. The staff were professional and friendly and informative. They answered all my questions and helped me make a better decision about my tires and alignment. They also helped me shop around for better prices. The prices are competitive. The service was speedy. The staff, as I said, professional, friendly, respectful and kind.I will come back here.
