I came in first thing in the morning for an oil change, tire rotation, and a full inspection to make sure everything is ok. I had to wait at the shop but they were both very efficient and thorough with completely fair pricing. The place was clean and they were also very nice. I don t know much about cars, but I had a good conversation with the staff and all of my questions were patiently and thoroughly answered. Thank you!

I have had a remarkably good experience with Rob, Maddie Kirk, and the rest of the crew.In my experience, it had been rare to find auto mechanics who are such kind and gentle spirits and moreover excellent communicators as Rob has been in my interactions with him.He was never condescending, even in the face of my admitted ignorance around auto mechanics.And talking with him for the first time on the telephone, I quickly felt like I was talking to (and getting the advice of) an old friend- he is just a very disarming person, and I found that with each of the other team members who I spoke with there.I would certainly recommend Mr. transmission any day of the week, mostly because in my experience, they are just great, highly competent and easy people to work with.As far as paying to get your transmission fixed and your car back on the road again, I could not hope for a more pleasurable experience.And I am grateful to them for so competently getting me there.Best, Travis

Finally, I Found A Mechanic/Auto Shop Owner Committed To Provide Quality Service & Professionalism Both Behind The Counter As Well As In The Repair Bey!Rob Black went above and beyond to find a difficult to locate part, at the best price, and kept me informed every step of the way.I have a 2003 Ford F150 and a clutch assembly that isn t manufactured anymore. It took quite a bit of searching to find the part that someone didn t want an arm and a leg for, with a reasonable price point.Rob really put time effort in keeping abreast of his efforts and not not just getting his hand on a subpar costly product just to get my vehicle out of his shop, tying up a bet.I will be bringing all of my family s vehicles to him moving forward, And recommended him to all of my friends and coworkers.Thanks Rob!!!!

Great service, friendly staff and affordable prices! I won t be taking my vehicle anywhere else. I m very grateful to have found them. I had my transmission serviced and have had about 3 oil changes and tire rotations done. Each time I was met with fast and efficient service.

I took my car to Milex and the staff was very professional and courteous. They were very informative and transparent. I felt very comfortable making the decision that I made based on the the information I was given. If you want total transparency and honesty, take your vehicle to Milex. Had a great experience and will continue to have a great experience as long as I'm here in the Raleigh-Durham area. Customer service was awesome and the prices were fair; definitely better than the dealership! They took the time to explain what was done and also looked at other issues that I was experiencing with my vehicle. A great place to get your car looked at and serviced.

Rob & his team did an OUTSTANDING job replacing our transmission!! He communicated with us during the entire process from getting the diagnosis of the problem, to ordering the transmission and the installation!! And it was all done for an AFFORDABLE price!! If you re looking for an honest mechanic this place is it. Brought my vehicle here after having the dealership do a multi-point inspection where they listed 6 services totaling $3500 that required immediate attention . The crew at Durham Mr. Transmission looked at my vehicle and the items the dealership listed and let me know NONE of them were needed, let alone immediately . Can t give these people enough credit. Thank you Milex!!My wife and I were in the process of purchasing a new car. Rob helped us with a pre purchase evaluation of the car. After determining the car had a few small things that needed repairs (a/c leak, transmission leak, and tensioner replacement). We negotiated price with the car dealer due to the cost of repairs, and returned to Milex to have the work done. The car was done in a day and we were very happy with the work done, and the service provided. The Milex staff was very friendly and helpful. We will be returning for all of our automotive needs!Thank you Milex!

I drove to two Auto. Mech. Shops while trying to get my Loose Throttle Cable fixed on my old Toyota but they could not resolve the problem. Eventually, I found Milex Complete Auto Care and they were able to get the repair done quickly. Very professional and friendly atmosphere. So grateful especially to Kenny and Rob. Thanks !!

A great place with friendly people. I called about an issue I had with a previous shop around 11:00 am. A tow truck was in my driveway at 12:30. They were able to fix the issue and get me back on the road quickly. Tow fees are waived when you have your auto work done at Mr. Transmission. This is the 2nd time in two months that I have brought in 2 older vehicles (05 & 06). Both times my cars were serviced right away at the appointment time!.The shop reminds me of Nordstrom's in the 80's;with Salesmen who were courteous, respectful, and gave professional advice at no extra charge; taking the time to listen to customers.If you have a mechanical question or are debating whether to repair your current car or buy anothet; take 10 minutes to see the Milex Durham Proffesionals . You will end up feeling much betterand if you do get service; it will be done promptly, honestly and at a very reasonable cost.I remember in 1952, a crowd gathered around a car at the top of the Sears Building (where you parked on the roof) at downtown L.A. They were looking at a 1953 Chevy Bel Air 4 door; green with white roof. Why- single piece windshield! Quality car like this shop!

Great coustomer service and reasonable prices. I would highly recommend them. After fixing my vehicle they also checked any other problems and let me know the problem and how much it would cost to fix it free of charge. STAY AWAY!! This place is a scam and so is the owner. Took in a 2005 Honda Civic with a broken bolt on the speed sensor. Not only did they fail to correctly diagnose the problem, their solution was to replace the entire transmission. Was then told the car was no longer drivable, by the owner. It was then stated, by the owner, that the tech that worked on the car was interested in purchasing it. So a simple bolt replacement went to a total transmission replacement? When pushed all the owner could do was make up excuses then threaten to charge for diagnosing the car. If you want honesty do not look here. And to add insult to injury when we showed up to collect the car it drove right off the lot. Hard to believe for a car that we were told was dead in the lot and would not move.Service: Transmission

I brought my son s vehicle to Milex for a needed repair that another mechanic had diagnosed. Upon their own look over on the car, they discovered that the former diagnosis was incorrect saving us a major repair. They did find a different unrelated issue that we had them fix for us. The service and the staff went above and beyond expectations! I will now have Milex on my phone as my go to for servicing my vehicles.
