Great service and knowledgeable staff. This store seems to have undergone new ownership and it s so much more organized and well run. The General Manager is very personable and knowledgeable and helped me get what I needed and get in and out quickly. I will definitely be back and wouldn t hesitate to recommend this store to anyone looking for great service.

These guys are fantastic and reliable folks. I have been there twice with and without appointments and have received exemplary service. They will give you honest opinions and go out of their way to diagnose the problem. Unlike dealers and AAA workshops that want to charge to diagnose even when the problem is staring them in the face. This Midas location s helpful and courteous customer service has made me a forever customer. Very happy to find a car place which I can trust and don t have to worry about being taken for a ride!

Negligence at the least, likely pure laziness, in not properly reattaching the engine splash guard (only 3 of 9 removed screws were replaced) or in notifying me that screws were missing caused the splash guard to come loose, over $500 in damage. If screws were missing when I brought the car in then why did the tech say nothing? His response to that question, "Do you know how many times customers don't do anything?" Is that reason to stop being responsible and tell customers of observed problems? Management backed the techician who admitted to not telling customers of such missing screws. The evidence clearly shows that screws were removed to do the service, but not replaced. Store management supports the negligence by allowing the technician to not report observed problems. One wonders what other observed problems are not reported to customers. If Midas posts photos, note that the direction of tearing in the splash guard is opposite to what would be were his claims accurate. The technician also accused me of being racist for calling out his laziness and negligence.

The Durham store is the best! The staff is friendly, professional and efficient. This was my third visit to this store and the level of quality remains high. During my visit in the Fall of 2020 I was shown the wear indicators on my tires and told that within the next year I may want to consider purchasing new tires. I bought myself a B'day present of new tires, from Midas, in March. I took advantage of the buy three get one free. Great Deal!Services: Tires, Brakes

This Location of the Midas Service Centers has given us exceptional service the past few times we have been here. Rajesh and the other technicians have always been open and honest about what things need repaired/replaced, what things probably should be replaced but are 100% necessary, and optional things that could be replaced.Bottom Line: They have never over estimated what needed to be repaired, and have even directed me to an autoparts store to buy the part and do a simple fix myself so that I could save some money. They always allow you to take pictures, and ask questions, and take the time to explain why something would need to be repaired or replaced. I'm lucky to live nearby this shop, but would literally drive arcross town just to have my car serviced here. 5/5 stars would recommend every day of the week.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim

I have been coming here for a few years for routine oil changes on mine and my wife's cars. They staff are always friendly and attentive. They also do a good job of estimating the time it will take for a job.

Took my truck to them for a muffler replacement. Arranged to be off work for the repair. Went in at the day and time of my appointment and they didn t have my parts. I had been there prior for the diagnosis and they ordered the parts at that time. The Midas employee called the parts people and couldn t figure out what happened. He asked me to come back the next day and I declined.It s disappointing to have arranged this repair appointment to arrive and be told that they couldn t do the job. If there was a problem I should have been contacted in advance to arrange another date/time. This is unacceptable customer service.

Good place to service your vehicles. Don't need to worry about being charged for items you don't need. Lifetime warranty on some items.Best of all, they are honest and do a good job. They can tell you what needs to be fixed now and what can wait till later

My experience at this Midas location was excellent. I had taken my Golf to the Volkswagen dealership service center about a serious issue with my brakes, and after their service the issue was still not resolved even after going back twice for a recheck. I came to Midas and they discovered another problem with the calipers on my breaks that could have been dangerous. They explained everything to me in detail and were prompt and professional. Midas fixed the problem immediately and my brakes sound great! I am definitely going to Midas for all future repairs for brakes!Service: Brakes

They don't even deserve a star at all. Worst place. I have ever been to. They said there was a oil leak but didn't say where and they changed the oil anyway. They told me about the oil leak after I paid for the oil change. I ended up having to go to the dealership. Customer service is awful. The owner is very rude. I have them on video and they don't know it. I could sue them. If I could upload the video I would. They are horrible. I wouldn't let my worst enemy to take their car there. All lives matter and I would never trust them again! Their work could cause accidents and possibly death. A poorly repaired auto is a danger to the people who drive it and others that share the same road or highway.

I went there for my oil change appointment and they told me that my car didn't have oil in it and that scared me, but the mechanic explained everything to me and the mechanic along with the rest of the staff did excellent with me and my car. I will be coming back to them from now and thank you for an outstanding job on my.

I would absolutely recommend this Midas to anyone! They guys there are great! I went in for my first time in January for an oil change. They told me all of the other issues with my car, but didn't pressure me in to fixing any of them. They told me timeliness for when I should get them fixed, but no pressure which is surprising since I'm a 24 yr old from out of state. When I went back about 4 months later they remembered me. Mike, Robbie, and Jason are the absolute best!! Please give them a chance!

The folks at Midas were all incredibly friendly and helpful. They really make you feel like they care about your vehicle as if it were there own. Additionally, the prices were fare and they even offer Uber rides free of charge if you need a ride to or from the shop.Service: TiresService: Tires

My experience here was fantastic. They worked with me to find a creative solution (see details below), the price was extremely reasonable, and they allowed me under the engine to verify everything was done well.Details: an earlier fix that I had not inspected took out a flange from my exhaust system and left the system rigid. This caused the connection at the resonator to break causing a potential serious crash which I was entirely unaware of until a mechanic at performance Subaru pointed it out to me. The dealer ship is only allowed to make standard fixes and this one would easily run me over a grand as the entire exhaust system is considered a single part. Midas welcomed a non-standard fixed and was happy to go over potential options. We ended out taking out the resonator and replacing it with a pipe and flange which makes for a flexible and solid system.The mechanics and manager were open to my concerns and questions, suggested a fix that I am very happy with, and did all this at a very reasonable price. I will happily return.

The prices were ridiculously too high, parts online were same fit, cost much, much, much, much cheaper. A pure rip off in part prices now days, but you get new parts, that's the deal. Services are good and their diagnosis check . 4100 for catalytic converter maxima in line 659.00 really yah!

I have used this shop for a number of cars, foreign and domestic, over the years. Although I mostly used them for oil changes/tire rotation and state inspection, they have helped me in other areas as well. Always helpful and honest. I recommend them whenever someone needs a place to go.

Service was once good here, but current management has driven the place into the ground.They have always had quirky rules (for example, a minimum fee to "inspect brakes" that is refunded if you get your brakes done there... even if you go in specifically requesting them to fix your brakes), but now they just seem to make up nonsense as they go.Took one car in for an oil change and tire rotation under their "special" which includes both services, but they wouldn't do the rotation unless I bought new shocks from them. They claimed my shocks were bad, showing the normal wear of my tires as evidence. My premium shocks were only 2 years old with maybe 25k miles, so it was not impossible that they were wearing - but not likely to be so worn to cause tire damage at that point. I told them to forget the rotation and just do the oil. I asked for a quote on tires on that visit and they were asking upwards of $800 for a set of low-quality knock-off brand tires! Their name-brand offerings were going for over a grand a set. For perspective, a couple weeks later I bought highly-rated tires right up the road from another reputable national company for under $700.I thought maybe it was just a bad day, so I brought my other car in for an oil change and rotation. Same story regarding allegedly bad shocks. Except this time, the car had new shocks. Whoops. They either just were too lazy to rotate tires, or they thought that they could steal an unwarranted service. Either way, I was not pleased.Since they were once very good, I brought my first vehicle in for a quick state inspection as a last try. They failed my vehicle! BUT! If I bought their muffler and tail pipe for over $600 I would pass. The alleged problem? A pencil eraser-sized hole at the top of the stainless steel muffler can. The hole was not corrosion - it was designed to be there to allow evaporation of water to escape. As another point of reference, a very reputable custom muffler and pipe for that vehicle (uninstalled) costs just under $700. The vehicle passed at another shop with no problem.This shop is exceptionally dishonest now. They state you need services that you do not need and they charge exceptionally high prices for low-quality parts.DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!

No one likes to take their car to a mechanic not knowing if they are great or shady and try to tell you 6 things wrong with your car. I have had service at several Midas' garages throughout the country and they are, for the most part, very good.I wanted to give a special shout-out to this Midas and the owner, Rajesh Sutariya. Had some issues the my Toyota Sienna, rear suspension and shocks. He showed my van while up on the racks and explained what may be the problem. He did not try to sell me anything, just pointed it out, and told me some options.I can't say enough of how well I was treated, and not charged for the time to test drive the car and isolate the issue.If this was done at a Toyota Dealership, I would be charged $85.00 ( I called) .Also a BIG Kudo to Chase, who handles the front office. Just a great guy who also gave me some suggestions. I would not hesitate to have them work on my car. Thanks Guys !!!

Brought my car there in perfect condition to get oil changed and left with a damaged car that could not be used anymore. I bought a new vehicle and will never go there again. Because I can't force them to give video or facts I just let it go. I had a 98 Buick LeSabre.r reading these reviews..I see that my initial thoughts where spot on!

Stay away! I took my Jeep in to get the exhaust hangers re-welded as they had broken. (5min job at most) Service person said they could not re-weld the hangers because the tailpipe was to rusted. Service person stated in order for them to be able to repair the hangers I would have purchase a new section of tail pipe and quoted me a price of $275. Knowing what I was being told was NOT correct, I took it to a locally owned shop who re-welded the hangers for $40

If I could give a negative star I would.. went in for a simple oil change and they cracked my thermostat housing. They refused to do anything about it by saying it was my fault. There had already been a small leak but damn after I left antifreeze was just gushing out and overheating my car.... NEVER AGAIN. I went from something so small (that hadn t given me any issues beforehand) to something so big that it nearly destroyed my car and cost me hundreds of dollars

Went to have a simple oil change done around 7:45 am. I was told the technician was on the way. I waited until 9 am just to be told the technician was running late. The guy there was very Nonchalant. Didn't seem to even care that people have been sitting here waiting and no one has arrived! It's quite ridiculous to even be open when you can't get your staff to show up on time. Terrible customer service. I also asked for management info. I was told they don't give it out.

Stay a way from this place, I bought 4 tires from this place they charged me way too much compare to other places and gave me cheap tires! ( note when they changed my tire they broke two of my wheel atud lug nut, and they blame it on previous Auto shop and said it was already broken which was nottttt) long story short today I went there because I had a flat tire ( note this happend 3 times already and they keep puting air in it insted of giving me another tire because I have warranty on it) like always they just put air in it, and while they were doing that a nail from their shop goes to my other tire like a fresh nail and I told manager this is from your shop and he told me get out of here this is not from our shop you got it from somewhere else even tho my tire had warranty on it instead of fixing my problem they were offering me to buy another expensive/cheap tire! I am really disappointed!!!!! warranty means nothing in this place!! If you need more damage on your car and you want to spend more money then you are more than welcome to go to this shop!!

Had my car towed here for diagnosis of possible battery problem, shop chose to install a pricey battery and offered me no choice of battery. Called to inquire about charges and was told a 70 discount would be applied. At pick up time the discount was only 30 and owner claimed he never quoted us a 70 discount. Won't be returning with any business.
