I recently had the pleasure of visiting Mavis Tire & Brakes, and I must say, the experience exceeded all my expectations. Ryan and his staff were exceptional they provided top-notch service with a smile. Not only were they incredibly knowledgeable, but they also went above and beyond to assist me in a very timely manner. From start to finish, the entire process was seamless and efficient. I left feeling confident in the work done on my vehicle, knowing it was in great hands. I highly recommend Mavis Tire & Brakes to anyone in need of automotive services. On March 16, 2024, I went to have my car serviced by Mavis Tires on Yunus Rd. Honestly, my experience with their service was so good I had to write a review about it. Number one, my appointment was at 2pm and they was ready to take my car in at 2pm. It is really unheard of for a Saturday afternoon appointment to actually starting on time. The service manager Ryan was very professional, polite, and understanding. When he spoke and explained things to me about my vehicle, I actually learn some things! Mr. Kyle worked at the front desk. He had a warm present about him and when he spoke you felt calm even though you were at a car shop for a stressful issues. Mavis prices are very, very affordable. I was in and out the shop within a hour, unheard of. All of the staff members looked presentable and they were also very professional. Overall, I would advise EVERYONE to try this shop out. After you meet Mr. Ryan and Mr. Kyle, after you review their service, and after you pay, I bet you would be on your computer writing a review giving them a 5 star rating also.

I recently visited the new Mavis Tires & Breaks location off Yunus Rd and was blown away by the service provided! They performed an alignment on my Escape with expertise and professionalism, explaining everything clearly along the way. Their honesty and quality of work left me thoroughly impressed. The waiting room was great with chargers, child play area, and bathrooms. I highly recommend this location for any automotive needs!

Super nice folks here. I didn't have an appointment but they were able to get me in pretty quickly for a tire rotation. This is my first time getting work done here, but I expect to give them more of my business.

I set an appointment for Friday, March 22 at 12pm for 4 new tires and an alignment. Although I arrived earlier than expected and waited for a few hours for the service, the staff were very respectful and the customer service was amazing. They gave me recommendations for work needed to be done on my care. I loved how my tires felt and how smooth my car drove. I felt like I was driving on clouds. If you need new tires or any service, stop by here, you won t be disappointed. Kyle and Ryan are very professional and will take great care of you and they re both respectful men.

After coming here for the first time I decided I'll be a regular customer! The customer service was incredible and unmatched. I didn't have an appointment and I came in at the end of the day for an oil change, but they prioritized me and ensured that I would be served. The pricing for an oil change was also a great deal. Kyle was great to work with and so kind! Also, since it's brand new the inside was a nice environment to get work done while I was waiting

Highly satisfied with my experience here at Mavis.Kyle got me checked in and ready to go. Appointment was scheduled for 1:00 pm and that s exactly what time they started my services. Julio made sure to keep me informed and took care of all of my needs! Clean environment and great customer service. Go check them out!

The Manager Ryan, took great care of me. He found a discrepancy with one of my tires from another tire shop. Made a phone call to the manager of that shop and they swapped my tire out free of charge.The customer service was above and beyond from the moment I entered the door. The facility was very clean and they completed my service quickly and efficiently. I will definitely be back!

Best convenient auto place in the area. Newly built, clean and fast service. Must visit. Staff is top notch and extremely accommodating! Ask for the Manager Ryan. He will assist you in actual services your vehicle would need hassle free. Also prices are legit competitive

My husband uses an electric scooter to commute to work and both of the tires popped. Instead of spending money on a new scooter, he purchased tires online and we spent 4+ hours trying to change the tires ourselves. We were able to replace one, but could not get the back tire on the wheel. We decided to take the tire and wheel to Mavis to see if it was something they could work on for us. I was greeted by Ryan and he immediately offered assistance. I felt very welcomed while I was there and appreciated everything they did for us today. Both Ryan and the rest of the staff are incredible. I always feel anxious going to new places, but everyone there was so nice and I had a great experience. Highly recommend this shop!

I had such a lovely experience! The owner, don t know his name, took good care of me this morning. He was so kind and professional. He s the epitome of what I expect from all businesses especially a black one! Take note! He and his team great customer service, are kind, and are experts. He even gave me a discount! I ve already spread the word with my family and I will be returning. Keep it up and you ll have a forever customer in me!

I had a really good experience at Mavis Tires. First of all, they have good quality tires at very good prices compared to other tire shops and wholesale clubs. Ryan, the shop manager at this location, is really professional. He gave me his undivided attention and ensured that they could get me in as quickly as possible. My tire installation was completed about an hour and half earlier than they promised. They found other issues with my car that they alsomade me aware of. I am definitely going back here and I will recommend you do too, if you re in the market for tires, brakes, oil changes, etc.

Great service experience. Stopped in for an oil change & new brakes, and everything went smoothly. Ryan and his team delivered amazing service at a fair price.The facility is new and clean. I'm excited to have this as our go-to option in the neighborhood!

Its a new location. It is neat and clean. The facilities have huge glass walls so you can watch all the cars from the waiting area. The front desk and the mechanics are competent and friendly. They rotated my tires for free that I bought at another Mavis, and checked my brakes for free which indeed up being fine. My car has regen braking so I've never had the brake pads or brake fluid changed (7 yrs + 126k miles) so I requested what that would cost to change the brake fluid only. They understood the issue, were quick with a quote, and gave me a "today discount". I said lets do it, and they turned it all around in 1 hour. It was a great experience. I'll be back!

The folks at Mavis Tires & Brakes Durham were welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable about my tire issue (a puncture from a great big bolt). Even though they were busy, they fixed my issue inside a few hours, and it only cost me ~$27. I cannot recommend them more highly.

This is a great new location. I came here for an oil change for my 2015 jeep. Everything was seamless. I was able to schedule an appointment online, and when I got there a little early they were able to get started right away. The guys who worked with me there were very polite, knowledgeable, and didn t try to sell me on a bunch of extra things I didn t need. The whole thing took less than an hour and I couldn t be happier. Will definitely be coming back to this location again.

Ryan and his staff at this location are simply amazing. I was told exactly what services my vehicle needed today and in my near future as far as maintenance to keep my car performing as it should. The service was completed in the time frame I was promised. The entire staff was extremely courteous and welcoming. The ladies restroom was clean which is often overlooked in places that service vehicles. I appreciate my service experience from staff with expertise and know how.

My experience with this Mavis location was unique, but the service was amazing nonetheless. I have a GoTrax electric scooter that I use for commuting to work, and the tires needed changed. My wife and I spent 4+ hours attempting to change both, but were unsuccessful with getting the back tire on the wheel. She took the wheel and tire to Mavis, and the team there was super helpful in fixing it for us. Ryan and his crew saved me from having to spend hundreds on a new scooter or bike, and I appreciate their help. I will certainly be taking my Jeep there for any service in the future.

This Mavis tire is great. Staff are professional and polite, facility is clean and organized, and they complete services in a timely manner for a reasonable price. Would recommend this place for tires, breaks, oil changes and more if you're in the Ellis crossing area.

First time coming to a Mavis store and will most definitely be coming back. Needed to get my tires replaced and Ryan was very prompt, transparent, and friendly in providing me the prices and different options for my vehicle. They had the tires I needed in stock and was able to get me taken care of same day!

Staff is very friendly and professional, prices are much better than my previous shop and they didn t try to sell me any unnecessary parts or services. I came in with no appointment and got an oil change, new brakes all around, and a tire rotation in less than two hours. Great experience!

Took my car in to have the tires looked at after losing pressure, Ryan was able to get the car inspected within a minute of my arrival and Najah was able to get the pressure back up immediately. All told, less than 10 minutes total time waiting. Absolutely amazing staff! Najah and Ryan were very accommodating and a pleasure to do business with. Highly recommend this shop!

On March 20th, 2024, I arrived at Mavis Tires located at 1035 Yunus Road, Durham, NC 27703 at 9:30 am and left at noon. My purpose for visiting was to have my exhaust checked due to a noise. However, it took them an hour and a half to get my car in to look at it and they ignored the notes that I had left for them. Additionally, they quoted me $719.66 for parts that I did not request to be checked and hadn't even looked at the issue I came in for. I am very displeased with the outcome and do not recommend anybody who does not have prior mechanic knowledge, or experience would relay on their recommendation.
