I reserved a Leonard trailer online and within 2 hours also received a confirmation call that the trailer was immediately available for pickup. That's convenient proactive outreach. Then later that evening I arrived to pick up and it was brought to my attention a sizing issue with my hitch setup. Thanks Jerome for the thorough safety check- you did me a solid. And the front office guys for the trailer rundown and extra gear I needed. Extra shout out to the DM and Leonard for generously acknowledging my prior military service. A+ experience for me. I'll be back to get a hitch put on another vehicle they were so coool Ps. Cool that these tailgates can collapse like this

Quick easy finance and nice built trailers. Why by used when you can buy new for just a bit more and not inherit someone else's problems.I came here needing a trailer in a bad way in 30 minutes of walking in the door I was approved for the 12' I was looking at.It does not stop there my never used trailer wiring on the truck did not work so they jumped in to help me get it working, all three helped.Can't thank them enough but, I can let you know and go back again later.

I purchased a tonneau cover online for my pickup, but the cover didn't arrive with the hardware I needed to attach it to the bed liner. After calling around town, a little birdie suggested that I drive out to Leonard. I did, and the staff member (I didn't catch his name) hooked me up with what I needed, and then installed the cover on my truck to boot. I was really struck by and grateful for this generosity (especially on a 100-degree day). Next time, I'll check here first to purchase my truck accessories. Y'all are the best.

I stopped by today to get them to look at a water leak on my bed cover. They checked things out, pulled it into the garage, made repairs and had me on my way in no time. My cover was out of warranty but they stood behind their product! Great service!!!

Today was so good I just had to share the experience ... I was interested in getting a quote for running boards for my Highlander. Came in and the store was busy. I was immediately greeted by Maryn and then Scott- with a smile! They wrapped up with the previous customers and then took their time to go over several options with me. I felt valued and appreciated as a customer. This is the kind of customer service that sets the bar for the service industry! Will definitely be spreading the word about the Durham store. Only place to go for your Leonard needs in my opinion. Just amazing customer service!

Exceptional staff! Maryn, Scott and Chris were a great team and helped me figure out storage solutions for my trailer for strapping down furniture. I had bright LED lights installed in the ceiling so we can see at night. They were happy to help and I enjoyed the experience. Great customer service. I will definitely be returning for any future needs!

They should fire Jamal as soon as possible! I waited outside this location since 8am assuming their hours of operations started at 8:30am as advertised.Jamal shows up LATE (9:15am) didn t apologize and quickly became aggressive when speaking to me.My trailer was repaired by him but not completely finished because he said we needed to come back. He then states we ll take it somewhere else Very unprofessional, bad business and do not recommend coming here ever again.

To be honest, I typically don t do reviews. However, I had such a great experience recently with Eduardo Garcia and his team at Leonard of Durham that I definitely want to share my thoughts.I had an extremely frustrating and ongoing situation with a leaky bed cover for my F-150 that I had purchased online and installed myself. The problem I was having was really of my own making because I didn t do proper research up front for the type of cover I needed for the way I wanted to use it. In hindsight, I also should have enlisted the assistance of a dealer instead of trying to do it all myself. Nonetheless, Ed took the time to help me through various scenarios to try and remedy the problem. He even discussed my situation directly with the manufacturer even though it wasn t his fault or even his issue to address. Ultimately, my leaky cover problem was determined to be a warranty issue and a replacement cover was provided.When all was said and done, because the style cover I had purchased was really not best suited for the way I intend to use my truck bed, Ed assisted me with a new replacement cover and Bedrug that better met my needs. His team did a superb job installing everything. I could not be happier.Without a doubt, I recommend Leonard of Durham for any of your truck accessory needs. Eduardo and his team are extremely professional and customer-focused. They will go above and beyond to help you meet whatever need you may have. I will definitely be going back to them if I need anything additional for my truck.Jim Cloud

So......maybe as far as purchasing a new product the service is good? However; I purchased a handle for my truck bed cover in January. We are now in the middle of April and no handle yet. Every time I call to inquire about the handle I get a different story. I should write a book on the tales. I'm not impressed with the service at all. When the time comes for a new cover I will seek else where. I hope that anyone else that deals with them on a repair part has better luck than I had.

I called around to get a hitch installed on my not too hitch friendly small SUV. Called a bunch of U-Haul locations and was quoted $$$. Called Leonard s and was quoted a fair price. Not only that but they went above and beyond to get me necessary parts and service on short notice. Lastly, they gave me a military discount, not because I asked but because they saw my gear in my trunk. Really great customer service the whole way through.

Yesterday morning when loading up for a quick weekend trip to the beach I discovered the lights on my Leonard trailer were inoperative, so with driving without turn or brake signals not an option I drove carefully to the Leonard shop here in Durham. I was met immediately by a young gentleman who introduced himself as Scott and offered his assistance. Upon explaining my dilemma, he immediately proceeded to run operational checks on my vehicle and trailer by which he identified and repaired my trailer in short order. Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the speed and professionalism in which he completed these tasks. I have been a Leonard s of Durham customer for years having had purchased and serviced equipment for my commercial fleet and private vehicles with excellent and timely service every visit. I highly recommend the Durham shop to all my friends and associate vehicle fleet managers.Thanks for a job well doneCarl Hodges

I came to Leonard's in Durham last Saturday and had some questions about a trailer hitch and possible cover for my truck and had a great experience! Chris was the gentleman that helped me. He seemed very knowledgeable about the products and was able to answer all of my questions. I will definitely be using Leonard's in the future! Thank you Chris for answer all my questions! Maryn was such a wonderful representation of the Leonard s company. When my husband and I came in to pick out a bed cover, she was extremely patient with us. Demonstrated each one and their unique characteristics then helped us price out one that would work for us. We appreciate her time and help in finding the perfect one for the F-150.Scott was such a fantastic installer he has great attention to detail and will install things correctly and promptly. We were quite amazed with this location! Will be coming here for all our needs Leonard s can cover!!

Made an appointment for installation of a trailer hitch for a bike rack. Sent my son to the shop. He was informed that the hitch had not been delivered, but they would double check and get back to him. I then followed up by phone, but continually got the answer machine. When I was finally able to get through to Eduardo (40 minutes later), he claimed he had called me 15 minutes prior to the appointment to let me know the hitch had not arrived. I did NOT receive a call. Never mind the fact that 15 minutes prior to an appointment is obviously too late. Worst of all, no one told my son who was sitting outside (for 40 minutes now). I had to call him to let him know to leave. We canceled the order.

TL;DR: Nice product, awful customer service.I ordered a building from them in March 2017. When it arrived and we went to look at it, it was different from what we had ordered. We wanted the loft on the same end of the building as the workbench, we ordered a shingle roof to match our house, and we wanted the wiring/lighting in it. It had a metal roof, no wiring, and the loft was on the opposite end from the workbench. We decided that the loft and roof were ok as is, and we didn't want to wait for them to rebuild it. We scheduled a date for delivery, and Eduardo promised he would order a wiring kit and his crew would come install it when it arrived.Building was delivered and set up on April 18. There was no ramp for the entryway, even though we had been promised one. I called and Eduardo said he would bring one out.We never did get the electrical kit. I finally called and had them refund the price of the electrical kit back to my card, and I wired the shed myself.It took a number of phone calls over a couple of weeks before they finally delivered a ramp. It's a 4-foot ramp, and it's so steep that the bottom of my lawn mower scrapes on the floor... I'm afraid that will damage the edge of the plywood floor, so my mower is still in the garage and my car is still parked in the driveway. Eduardo promised to get a longer ramp and bring it out, but it's now July 17 and still no ramp.After 13 weeks of calling every week about the ramp, I'm convinced I'm never going to get one from them. They've stopped answering the phone when I call and they never return my messages. I guess I'll bite the bullet and build my own damn ramp.I actually love this shed, it's just too bad that I get pissed off every time I walk into my garage and see my mower where my car should be.Edited to add: Thanks for responding to my review, but your response doesn't actually say anything. You have my number. You know my address. The only meaningful response from you is to provide me with the promised ramp of the proper length.

Absolutely amazing customer service and friendly staff. Bought a new truck in April and knew I needed a cover so it didn t turn into another farm truck. My mom had her bed sprayed there few months prior and was beyond happy so I went right down after buying my truck. They hooked my truck up with everything from floor mats and a gear box, to a bed rug bed slide and newly released leer XQ sport. Very very happy with the purchases and definelty going to be going back for a lift kit. Truly is a one stop shopping experience for any truck.

Called and got a quote for a product and was told to call back to confirm and order. 3 days later and 20+ phone calls I have been ignored. Left voicemails with contact information and everything. Seems like they have better things to do than sell their products. Called the Raleigh Leonard s and purchased the product over the phone in less than 10 minutes, and they charged me $120 less for the same exact product.

Scott was awesome!!! Great customer service- he took time to answer ALL of my questions and even showed my husband and I several trailers that might fit our need. Once he realized that none of those would work, he offered to look around and do some research see which trailer would work best with car and the golf cart. Scott thank you so much, we will definitely be back and refer our family and friends.

I am one HAPPY CAMPER! I have a "mint" condition F250 and had a spray in bed liner done. A birthday gift from my husband. LOVE IT! I highly recommend the spray in liners. Looks good and will not shrink and need replacing like the plastic drop in liners. This was a one day deal and now a lifetime of not worrying about bed getting scratched or the dreaded rust. I give the gentlemen who did this job an A+++ for a job done correctly!! We all know service is not a guarantee it will be done right. Leonard sure did!

After shopping around as time allowed for 3 weeks, I stopped by and met relatively new manager (Maryn). She went to bat to make me a good deal on a shed that I had settled on after extensive research on different companies.Shed was delivered and my yard had many challenges (square peg/round hole).Danial (exceptional experienced delivery driver / installer) and I spent 1/2 day getting it into place as he went above and beyond to make it happen.For all that, i have to say it would be worth anyones time to give them a shot at your business and Leonard buildings are as well built as anyones. The employees just make the exceptional difference.Thanks to the Leonard team, I will get my garage back.

Took my trailer to get my loading ramp door repaired--replace cables that hold door. First attempt was a failure as soon as I tried to open and close the door the spring would not keep cable tight. Told I needed a new dual cargo spring because the old one was moving to the right. It seems they should have seen that before attempting with old one and me spending $200.00. Took several weeks as the wrong one was shipped. Another $247.24 and after opening and closing a few times the cable got loose again plus the screws they used were too short and did not penetrate door, just wood, so it pulled out. Asked if they would come fix and told they do not do service calls but I can bring it in for 3rd time. Fixed it myself and it is still working. Will never go back!

This company is not worth dealing with. I contacted Eduardo over a month ago to see about having a storage building moved from the side of my house to the back and was given the runaround. I contacted him around the first of March, then around the middle of March .After making multiple calls, I spoke with him around the middle of March, he promised that he would have someone out to my house the first week in April and would call me on March 29th to set up a time. No call, so I called him. He said he didn't know when someone would be able to come out. He Lied! Said he had priorities..I guess I was not a priority! Anyways, I got so frustrated with him, I just gave up. I was trying to find someone to move a small 8' x 8' building with The Mule equipment. I ended up finding a very nice and reliable guy who came right out and moved the building. No Problem. If you need a building moved and need The Mule equipment, I have the name of someone that can help you. Don't bother with Leonards in Durham. They Are Not Honest People!

Called 3 times to buy a trailer. Told the lady I was paying cash asked how much a trailer was she told me she would call back. She never got back to me. Call again and again she said she would call me back. I guess she did not want my money. Customer service is terrible at the Durham location

I would recommend this place be utilised as a lastOption, when use for frequent replacements of trailer parts. Didn't receive parts on time as quoted and cash refund isn't reimburse in same fashion. But in check form, which require a wait time of 5 business days. Manipulative way of ensuring the retention of someones money. Smh...

The absolute best truck accessory location in the Triangle. Not only do they have the highest in quality parts--they have the highest in quality service. I always enjoy stopping by. I highly recommend them!
