Replaced my front suspension which meant I needed an alignment. Took my car here, and they did the alignment but did not loosen the boots from the steering rack to the tie rod ends destroying them with the twisting. Any fool who does alignments should know to loosen the clamp before, do the alignment and then to re-tighten. The moron there didn t, twisted the brand new boots until they shredded and sent me on my way. Noticed a week later when I did an oil change.Maybe the owner is competent, but the workers are clearly idiots.

I came in with a car with a bad coolent system and asked for a diagnostics on it. After running a "diagnostic " on the car, the shop replaced what they think the problem is without first telling me the cost. Ok, whatever, at least the car works. Nope. Drove it 10 minutes and the cars overheating all over again. I call the shop and they say ' oh we fixed it we put in a part, we did this and blah blah blah, if there is another issue with the car I don't know '... didn't I come in for you to diagnose the issue... ok well will you honor your 12 month warranty... 'nope', will you give me a refund, 'nope'. Will you do anything to fix the situation... 'Nope'. Save your time energy and money and find a different shop.

Thought it would be quicker. Then again my car was so unaligned it was tilted. Wonderful service! Used a groupon that was well worth it.

I have arrived to do the NC vehicles yearly inspection (safety and emission) after reading other reviews about this business. Everything went fast and smoothly, the service was great, and I can totally recommend this place for those who are looking for a place to check/maintain their vehicle.

Can't say enough about Mr. Joe Durham! He's a all around good guy and a great mechanic with fair prices. He's been taking care of my car almost 2 years now, and its been a pleasant experience every time! Not one complaint from me! These guys are the best! I won't go anywhere else!

My wife and I took our aging car here throughout 5+ years of living in Durham and always trusted Joe and his team to do the job well and treat us well they never let us down. We had some extensive and complex work during this time including an engine replacement. Big or small, Joe and his team always came through and fixed our issues. Joe set the standard for when we look for a mechanic in our new home. Anyone would be wise taking their car to Driver s Network!

I was visiting my brother at the VA hospital from out of town when my car broke down. I had it towed here and the folks were so nice! They were going to be closed tomorrow so they stayed late and fixed my car so I could go home tomorrow. Thank you, so much!!

I took my car to Driver's Network Auto Repair & Services for an oil change. The experience was good except for the fact that my drain plug came off on the highway afterward, which led to my engine overheating and getting destroyed. After some deliberation, Joe (the owner) agreed to replace the engine. But when I got the car back from him, it was producing a whining sound that made me nervous. Joe assured me it was nothing to worry about. Took it to another mechanic and he reported the transmission fluid had spilled out when Joe and his boys installed the engine. I was starting to see a pattern here: every time Joe & co. touched my car, some compartment with fluids would empty itself. Refilling the transmission fluid fixed the whining, but I have no idea what kind of long-term damage might have been caused.I also paid Joe to install a new battery when he was swapping out the engine. But guess what? The battery's voltage output was trash. Furthermore, when I got my car back, a portable jump starter and a hub cap on my wheel were missing. I don't think this was intentional. It's just that the mechanics working for Joe are careless. Two other shops that I showed the car to commented on the poor workmanship, loose screws, and a zip tie holding a valve in place... This is just the short version of everything that happened. Please don't risk your life going here.Services: Transmission, Engine repair, Battery, Oil change

Nice and courteous, but poor workmanship. My car was worse when I left than when I dropped off. When I called he suggested that whatever was wrong was not associated with the repairs they just made. He offered to take a look at it and split the cost of the tow. I would just like a refund. This was a most unpleasant experience, I advised that I had a commute home, and specifically asked was there anything that would leave me on the side of the road and was told I should be fine. I risked my personal safety and damaging a my vehicle even further to get it home. Very disappointing.Service: Engine repair

My sister and I were in Durham for treatment at Duke Medical Center when my car started having issues with the alternater (or so we thought at the time). I brought my car to Driver's Network and Mr. Joe was so helpful and kind. He was able to get my car fixed right up and on my way. Would definitely recommend.

Had the pleasure of having to meet this gentleman because of car troubles. I was being treated at duke cancer and after noticing the car acting strange he found the tires on the front were shot!! And replaced them as quick as possible so I could be back to on the road for the drive home.thanks for the quick and professional service. I'll recommend you to anyone needing service while in the Durham area.

The only place I trust in Durham. I bring both my work and personal vehicles here. Joe and his staff are efficient, kind, and fair. I never feel like I ve been worked over or sold something I didn t want or need. I highly recommend.

Scammers! Did wheel alignment. They didn't do nothing for 15 min and told me that job is done. They spent all their time in front of the front suspension and completely didn't look on rear.Car was on the ramp they even didn't turn on lazer alignment tool. I've checked alignment bolts - they were in dust. That's mean that they even didn't touch them!!!After how I asked them to print results of alignment before and after, they told that printer doesn't work. But I saw that they were printed before.Badliest experience.Be aware!!! Total scam.

Joe was very friendly and the service was very fast. Diagnostic cost was lower than other shops in town. Joe even lent me his truck while they were working on my car! The shop is located on the other side of the parking lot from the Food Lion. Certainly worth checking out.

I had an appointment to get my tires aligned and they took me right away (unlike other places that I've had to wait even though I had an appt).I asked Joe about adding Sea Foam to my gas tank. He explained how and when it should be done and even volunteered to add it if I had it with me...which he did. I thought that was a very kind gesture.

I guess this is only car mechanic place with rating 5.0 you will find. After my first visit I wouldn t mind giving another 5 stars to this place. I stopped here for coolant exchange and they offered this service to me at lower price. They also performed courtesy inspection and provided honest feedback to all my questions.

I had my brakes done here and afterwards the brakes were still making the same noise. I brought my car back and he wouldnt even look at the brakes he worked on. I brought my car somewhere else and the brakes are fine now.

Great prices and service. The gentlemen recommended a coffee shop that was in walking distance which was wonderful. I called on my way to say I was running late and the gentleman was more than helpful with fitting me in today. Thank you guys !

General repair Ok, diagnostic ability is 0. If you have anything other than basic repair, find another shop. And they leave finger prints all over your car.
