I would like to thank Ben Moore for taking care of me in my time of need while traveling home. I had a valve stem break and he handled everything quickly and with a smile. I would recommend Chapel Hill Tire for anyone who likes to be valued as a customer. Thank you Ben I greatly appreciate you.

Chapel Hill Tire is the real deal! The staff there are wizards with tires super friendly and always ready to go the extra mile. They've got your back whether it's a simple oil change or some mysterious rattle under the hood. Plus, they're honest about what needs fixing and what can wait, which is like a breath of fresh air in the auto world. Prices are fair, and they get you back on the road in no time. Definitely a five-star experience!

Chapel Hill Tire is fantastic! They've got a super knowledgeable team that's all about customer service. Very disappointed. The front desk staff was all very friendly and welcoming. However, when Chris looked at my car (which had a nail in one tire) he told me that all 4 tires should get replaced. My tires are about half way through their lifespan, giving them ~40k left on their life. He quoted me ~$1200 for the job. I refused, obviously. I took it to Pep Boys and they replaced the one tire for less than $250.

Returning customer that will keep returning due to great customer service and how quickly they were able to get a tire ordered, delivered and on my car all within a few hours! I ve dealt with 2 people so far, Allen previously and most recently Chris. They were both super efficient and took the time to explain things to me! 10/10!

Customer service was excellent and shuttle service was prompt, kind, safe, and reliable. That being said, they tried to get me to do maintenance services like replacing spark plugs that I did not need. I called my car s dealer and they confirmed I didn t need to change them for another 30k miles but they were trying to get me to do them when I went in for my oil change, which would have cost me over $700. The staff I talked to were nice when I was there but they tried to overcharge me and I can t trust their recommendations now for what my car needs. At the start of the appointment they also tried to sell me an engine performance thing that was $100 and again that I didn t need. Double check what your car actually needs before taking their word for it.

The entire staff was delightful. I was in a pinch and needed a full set of tires put on for a same day appointment. They discussed all the options with me and helped me to find a brand that was in my price range. They took great care of my car and the employees were communicative, efficient and had top tier customer service. I highly recommend Chapel Hill Tire.

There is no other place to go to get your car repaired or checked. Chapel Hill is THE most service oriented professional and careful choice for work on your car. They really care about doing a great job. Plus they offer free rides to and from their place. Cannot be near for price service value. I'm a customer for life!

Had some major issues with my vehicle overheating and it was after hours. I was able to limp my vehicle into their parking lot, use the night drop for my keys and just in case book an appointment online through their website. The next morning they were able to diagnose the issue, get me estimates, and repair everything all in 1 day. They shared other opportunities to do maintenance on the vehicle and were not pushy to make those things happen knowing the initial repair was significant. They were easy to work with over the phone and via text as well.

I have been bringing my car to Chapel Hill Tire @ Woodcroft for the last few years and every time they are incredibly easy to work with, very professional, friendly, and do a great job. This last visit I added a car detailing service to my typical maintenance. Alexa in particular was incredibly helpful with organizing all that needed to be done. She went the extra mile to make sure it was all taken care of. On top of that, their detailing service did an incredible job. I highly recommend them!

This is my first time having a car inspection service at Chapel Hill Tire (Durham) and I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent experience. They offer a convenient shuttle bus service during the waiting period, and the driver was very friendly. Throughout the inspection process, they kept me informed by posting updates online, allowing me to track progress and estimate when I could pick up my car. The inspection was completed within the estimated time of 4 hours, and all the detailed results, as well as suggestions for future maintenance, were displayed on their online page. Additionally, they left a helpful note in my car summarizing the inspection. Overall, I was very impressed with the professional and well-managed car inspection service at Chapel Hill Tire. I am satisfied with their service and will definitely return for future car maintenance needs.

There's a Dropbox feature where you can leave your car after hours and it gets worked on first thing in the morning. I used this and loved it. The lady at the front desk is super kind on the phone and explains my options very nicely. I chose to use Chapel Hill Tire because her customer service was miles above what I experience when I call other repair shops. I also loved the online inspection report that I received for my car.

I had a very unexpected car issue that occurred due to actions taken by another business. I was sent to Chapel Hill Tire and was immediately greeted by Chris who kept me constantly updated on the progress on repairs to my car. Ben was also quite helpful at putting my mind at ease as we worked through the process of getting my car back on the road. This is a very professional group and I highly recommend them for both emergency and routine care care.Thank you Chris!

I've gone to this specific Chapel Hill tire (Woodcroft) every six months for my Honda CRV for the past couple years, and it's disappointing to see that I've been financially taken advantaged of - even after being a committed customer.They chronically overcharge for their services. The first couple of times it happened, I thought I was paying for quality - but that's not the case. The last time I went, they overlooked a major issue with my car, which caused the headgasket to blow, and refused to apologize or accept the blame. They cut out the cost of labor in order to appease me, but I still had to pay $2,600 for other repairs on top of that. And may I remind you, I went in for my six month check up a month prior and they did not catch any of these issues in time. This company has lost my trust, and I do not recommend them.Please stay away from Chapel Hill Tire, unless you don't care how much money you spend for shoddy work.

I ve been going to them for years, and they have never tried to convince me to get work done that doesn t need to be done. They always provide more info on what s needed when I ask, and they give me tips on how to drive better to avoid unnecessary damage to my brakes and rotors when I asked them about it. They ve honored parts and tire warranties the couple times something has come up.

Had a flat tire. They took me in immediately, fixed the problem, installed a new battery, and cleaned my brake fluid. Absolutely splendid. They will have all of my future business.They took me in for a timely oil change on short notice. They did some general maintenance as well, and they finished with plenty of time to allow me to finish my other tasks for the day. Their work is absolutely first rate. 5 Star!!Services: Auto maintenance, Oil change

Came for an inspection. They said we needed other items that the car did not need. Tried to cancel additional work. They said it was cancelled and car is back together. Left stranded on the highway 2 days later. Plastic cover left on top of engine, coolant drained and cap left off, brake fluid cap left off. Cracked head gasket and engine damage in addition to being left stranded on the side of I-85 for 5.5 hours waiting for AAA.UPDATE: CH Tire attempted to fix the car with a new head gasket. However, the job was not completed correctly and a new engine is now required. Now they are balking with making this right and replacing the engine. The car was operating perfectly before coming here - and now 6+ weeks without a car and no resolution in making this right. I am hoping ownership will do the honorable thing and make this right.

I used to frequent this shop. Now, with new management and new name, I find it virtually impossible to get my car serviced. It seems when I call to inquire the person a lady who answers the phone will say "someone will call you back"(but never do) or its too late to service your vehicle. I am going to assume they don't want my business and will take it elsewhere.

These guys are always great. I finally had time to make an appointment and they serviced my car four hours ahead of schedule. I could have taken the shuttle car service home but they finished up before I needed to go.

Chris and the rest of the team at CH Tire in Durham were super helpful and friendly during my service. I called ahead to check on availability but they were able to fit me in the same day for an alignment. I received text updates throughout my service and a very thorough inspection report after my service was complete. The shuttle was able to drop me off at home after vehicle drop off as I live nearby which was appreciated. I love the transparency and customer service of this location. I had the same issue this time with a car I bought recently that I had with my last car they assumed I didn t know anything about my vehicle and tried to upsell me on stuff I didn t need. Also, I had a squeak in my steering wheel column that they offered to diagnose/fix for $60-120. Because I own WD40 and have Google, I fixed it myself for free at home. They also put partial instead of full synthetic oil in without consulting me. Since the manual states the car takes full synthetic, I assumed they d use that. Mistake on my part. Women, make sure you know your car, your service records and what you need before you go to any service station. Do your research.

Their shuttle has a 5 mile radius and I work 7 miles away. It s not that far off. They gave me a ride to work but I had to take an Uber back. They did take $10 off the bill. They recommended something expensive that I didn t need; I have had the car for a year. I am not going back

Recently used this location for installation of TPMS sensors for some new aftermarket rims for my Tesla Model 3. There was a small snafu in the pricing provided on the original call, but it was quickly worked out. I opted to bring the rims (with tires) in off of the vehicle and the team was helpful in getting them unloaded and completed the work on schedule. I did a lot of shopping around and voiced my concerns around any cosmetic damage to the new rims, they took these concerns seriously and it shows, on pickup the rims were still in pristine condition, not a scratch or nick on them! Overall the pricing was a little high, but they were up-front with the pricing on the second call and did great work, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.Service: Tires

I am beyond grateful to Chapel Hill Tire, Ben & Chris! As a single woman, they treat me like a sister. They are concerned and make sure my car is safe in every way, all the time! They are also very sensitive to my budget. They schedule my car needs according to what I can afford at the time and are excellent at prioritizing what needs to be done first. They pick up my car from work and drop it off at the end of the day ~ no extra charge!
