I had a really wonderful experience with this mechanuc shop! I was checking out a Jeep from out of state and asked them to do a very thorough new owner inspection, as I was going to be basing my purchase solely off of their recommendation. They let me know that the Jeep needed more work than it was worth and so they basically saved me $11,000. They were honest, thorough and finished when they said they would, and really great communication considering everything was done out of state. I would not hesitate to go there again in future! Thank you!!!

Sent my nephew here for issues with his vehicle. David is amazing he offered to check the vehicle for free. No one does that anymore. I mentioned buying a used vehicle soon and he told me to bring it by and they will check it out to see if it's worth buying. This place is a rare gem in this day and age. Check them out you won't be disappointed.

I m writing this review to appreciate the workmanship, helpfulness, and honest assessment with no compulsion to buy products or services. Jeff and his crew were amazing! I took in my 2011 GMC Terrain after the check engine light came on. He explained the issue(s) in great detail and quoted me an extremely fair price. He kept me in the loop and really worked with me. He was patient, even though I could barely make it there before they closed due to my commute from work. I'll definitely be back for any future work repairs or maintenance. Jeff, thank you for the above and beyond service. I appreciate your help!

Hands down my favorite mechanic I've worked with in my 2+ decades of driving and owning cars. Don't tell my dad.I started using Carmedix for my Mazda5 a few years ago and was impressed with their transparency as well as incredible communication efforts.Most recently, I visited with a new car and with a simple (but odd) problem - to repair the ground wire on my dash cam. The team was able to do it then and there while I waited no more than 15 minutes. Carmedix deeply understands not only how to do the invaluable work of keeping your car running, but also the much harder work of keeping you a loyal customer.

Another required service need for my vehicle and yet another top-notch service experience from the Team at Carmedix! Friendly service as soon as I entered the lobby. My vehicle received the recommended service required at a fair price and was performed within a reasonable wait time. Five star service! Thank you so much to the awesome team over at Carmedix. My wheel bearings were giving me some issues on my Rav 4 and so I went in to get my car checked. I anticipated a fee for the diagnostic but was surprised to find the initial check was FREE! I was given a reasonable quote for parts and labor and came back to get my car serviced. Later, I called to follow through with said quote, and not only did they diligently order and receive the needed parts but serviced my car all on that same day!I am no longer having issues with noise from my bearings and appreciate their kind, welcoming energy every time someone comes in.

They have been servicing my 2008 Toyota for a few years now. Each and every time they not only look at my problem, but they also give the car a through once-over (fluids, hose integrity, test drive,etc) and let me know if they found something besides my primary problem. I find their prices to be reasonable and the turnaround time has been less than 3 business days. Best of all, they provide an estimate upfront prior to anything being done, as well as follow up with me after the work has been completed.They are friendly and knowledgeable and I would recommend them to anybody.

OUTSTANDING company, highly recommend!!! I have come here at different times over the years when I am in Durham and they are always WONDERFUL. Super friendly staff members, thorough service, never manipulative with their prices or services... I had a car incident last week and needed to get it checked out to make sure everything was OK, and I also had a donut on. David was very kind, helpful and reassuring from the time I initially called to after the service was completed. They gave my car a full look over for free! They gave me a great price on patching and re-mounting my tire, test drove it for me afterwards to make sure it was smooth, the works!

Carmedix is my go to for any car issues that come up. I moved here from out of state and Jeff and Aaron really went above and beyond to help me out. I can t say enough about Carmedix . By far the best customer service and amazing car care I ve been to.

The only negative I have to say about this place was the wait. I came the day before and was told as a walk-in I would have to wait two hours to have my oil changed. I didn t want to wait that long so I made an appointment for the next day which I told would be one hour no more than an hour and 15 minutes, I came in the next day and guess what? Yep you guessed it , not only did I wait two hours I waited 2 1/2 hours. Of course that was when I did not have a lot of time because I needed to go to work. I should ve just waited two hours the day before , that would ve been more beneficial to me.The staff is super friendly, I m very happy with the work and the attention to detail. Waiting area is comfortable and check out was flawless. I will definitely be back, but only when I have a lot of time.

Carmedix ALWAYS takes care of me in such a gracious way and timely fashion! And one other thing that I love is how they remember who you are. I walked in for an oil change and was asked about a service that I received almost half a year ago. It s very heartwarming and appreciated. Great people! Great business!!

Last year, I became aware of Carmedix after receiving their mailer with an offer for a discounted oil change. That was a positive experience and their subsequent services provided have been valuable. Making an appointment has always been easy via their website. I appreciate that they also have my vehicle service history accessible in an online portal. They've provide excellent and friendly customer service that includes text reminders for recommended services, explanations of auto inspections/diagnostics, and complimentary Uber car service. I don't need to search elsewhere for highly credible auto maintenance and repair services in RTP.

It's easy to make an appointment and drop my vehicle off to minimize disruption to my day-to-day activities. More importantly, I trust the service that is recommended, and can perceive the improvements to my vehicle after the service is complete. I'm happy to have found Carmedix as my go-to mechanic in Durham.

After a nightmarish experience with Mr. Tire, I'm glad I decided to get my repairs done here at Carmedix. Such a refreshing level of courtesy and professionalism from Dave and his teammates. I really appreciate that they include notes and photos, which adds a sense of accountability and transparency. Would recommend.

I've only been to Carmedix twice but each time the customer service was excellent and the work was done in the timeframe they stated.I found them to be transparent and easy to work with. I can definitely recommend them and will be going back for my automotive needs in the future.

My wife took our BMW X5 here to have an oil leak checked. Called on Wednesday and got an appointment for Thursday morning they checked it out. Gave a detailed estimate with photos, My wife felt very comfortable there, with the estimate and with the photos she was able to understand everything they were explaining and didn t feel any high-pressure sales tactics. She felt very comfortable to make the decision on what needed to be repaired. They were able to repair the car the same day and pick it up the next day. Great place to take your vehicle.

How I m greeted as a customer when entering a business is a gauge for me. Carmedix checked the box for personable, politeness but most importantly for engaged duo technician detail of my vehicle, explaining what they did, checked for and future maintenance. As a woman, this is important . Definitely in my contact list for continued services.

Carmedix was able to schedule a headlight replacement the day I called them (after 3 other car shops in the area said they couldn't do it for a week due to their schedules). They expeditiously fit me into their schedule and completed the task within an hour. Additionally, when my car started making a new grinding sound from the rear of the car, they were able to schedule a car evaluation and repair the next day.They always have communicative, kind, and professional customer service, and they are transparent about prices. Even when my repair took longer than expected and they had to buy an additional tool to complete the task, they still charged the price they quoted. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a car repair shop in the Durham area, and I will definitely be using them again.

I typically don't use a mechanic. I don't know. But my son was going to college down north carolina. I had no other choice but trust someone I didn't knew. My sons brakes were grinding. Went on Google see shop's near him carmedix came up. Carmedix had great reviews. My son need to drive 30 minutes away. But they did not disappoint. Awesome service. Staff friendly and professional I like to thank Jeff and rest of staff for there help! Not only they fix problem, but told me other potential problems.

Great place to go for car repairs. Professional staff and very knowledgeable. There was no charge for a diagnostics. Ordered the parts, repaired the breaks on my 2013 Audi A6 and had me on the road the same day.If you have a European car, skip the dealership and take your car to Carmedix. I saved over $500 on the break repair job and got a 3 year warranty or 36000 miles.

I ve been bringing my cars here for at least 10 years and have nothing but great things to say about the entire team. It s rare to find a car repair shop that is honest and thorough and IF they make a mistake or miss something they always make it right without hassle!I hate dealing with car related things and Carmedix honestly restores my faith in good and honest service!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection

The Carmedix mechanics took care of several issues that another car service establishment missed even though the car was kept several days. Not the case here-our service was taken care of in a timely fashion. The service associates also made sure to communicate updates to us throughout the time our car was there,

They did an oil change for me, and all seems well. Very nice and accommodating. Before this they did a huge job for me and everything worked out. Car running great now.3 mo. Later had another oil change- they found a huge oil leak, explained everything and fixed it all perfectly. A woman also waiting there, explained that she s been a client for 10 years, and totally trust them!! I agree!

My van needed a major part replaced and the people at Carmedix were professional all the way. Going the extra mile to get the part I needed. With a special shout out to David at the front desk who worked extra hard dealing with my warranty situation. I m extremely happy with them. Highly recommended.

I love the Carmedix team! Whether it s a simple oil change or extensive car maintenance, they consistently do what they can to get me back on the road in as quick as possible.
