Johnson's transmission is a wonderful establishment. I Googled top transmissions in North Carolina and there's were the first one that popped up. I didn't have any money to move my car so Mrs Scott agreed to have it towed to his shop. There I Supply the down payment for my transmission and parts for the engine. And they got to work upon completion he was able to work with me on my payments to obtain my car. Two days later I had a faulty oil pan and gave him a call. Immediately he told me to bring my car back up there. They gave me a rental car and told me to come back when it's ready. I was short of money was worried about my warranty and didn't have to pay for anything. When you called me to come get my car they changed the oil pan and the gasket in the front and the main or seal in the back. Both jobs together cost about $2,000. They did it for free because of the warranty. I'm so lucky to have found them thank you very much.They made my holidays cheer for real thank you Scott and Chris and the big guy.

The S-10 Truck that Johnson Transmission and Auto Service recently worked on has ran good with what miles it has been driven which has maybe been over a hundred miles I would guess but whichever mechanic worked on it left something off of front of the engine and the steering wheel is not positioned correctly when front tires are straight.

They will definitely be my preferred mechanic. Their pricing was phenomenal. They had a smooth easy process with their loaner car. They got the work done quickly and efficiently. I'll definitely be heading back for any more of my needs for my vehicle. A plus service would definitely recommend

We called about service for our Jeep Liberty when it had a starting issue and they got started working on it the next day. Great service and consistent frequent communication. They caught another trouble issue taking it for a drive to evaluate the work that had been done, so we were grateful. Especially impressed with the follow-up call the next week to see how the car was doing! We have already gone back for our second repair service!Service: Engine repair

While traveling home to MD from FL we experienced car troubles on 95. Dunn was the next exit and it was 4am so we pulled off to a hotel and calls Johnson s first thing as soon as they opened. I spoke to Don and he was super kind and told me to come in and they would look at my vehicle. Within 4 hours they had our vehicle diagnosed, a part delivered, and the truck fixed. They were super kind and we are SO thankful the squeezed us in knowing we were stranded 6 hours from home. If I could give them 10 stars I would!!

Normally I do all my own work due to not trusting shops, but this shop did an absolutely amazing job on my 03 ranger. I took my Ranger in after rebuilding the engine due to transmission problems and they quickly found the issue and solved my transmission issues and helped with other problems such as welding up my exhaust coupler, fixing my rusted, and getting a pesky stripped O2 sensor replaced. They kept me informed throughout the whole time my ranger was at there shop and did an amazing job communicating and discussing with me the problems and solutions.A trustworthy company and shop. 5/5Would most definitely recommend this shop to ANYONE.Thank you so much Johnson transmission! -Joshua

The folks were nice enough but didn't do what I asked.I have a check engine lite on indicating low catalytic efficiency onBank 2 which I already ready knew.I asked them to tell me what causedthat catalytic to go bad and they couldn't. I expected them to at leastCheck the, O2 sensors, exhaust leak,Miss firing, fuel mixture, mechanical damage etc.What I got for my $140 was a quotefor over $4400 for a whole new catalytic system.I had just been tothe Chevrolet deal down the road and they quoted $3200 for a complete new catalytic system andthey didn't charge anything to tell mewhat I allready knew. They also didn't tell me why it went bad.In both cases I explained that the catalytic system on my truck now is less than 2 years old!!!I'm not about to replace this extremely expensive system if something is causing them to goBad.I didn't think this would be difficultto understand !!!!

Chris was extremely helpful in identifying the problem and subsequently obtaining the parts needed to repair our antique Roadtrek camper van. After he did we were able continue on our cross country journey. Not only did they repair it in a timely manner but they also checked up a day after to see that all was working as expected. Everyone there was knowledgeable friendly and helpful. We were lucky that we broke down so close to their shop. I was in the middle of an hour and a half commute when my vehicle broke down. Johnson s Transmission came to my rescue and even had a courtesy vehicle available for me to use while they worked on my car. Hands down the best automotive business ive ever used. Can t recommend highly enough.

I took my 98 Corvette Convertible to Johnson s to get an aftermarket exhaust installed and fix some issues. They took care of the car like it was their own and followed up with me a couple times to make sure everything was running smoothly. Great folks!

I'm glad my Dad told me about this place. Nice people and I have absolutely no complaints. I will keep taking my car here till they aren't here anymore. If you want a good dependable mechanic, Johnson's transmission is the place to go.

The crew did an excellent job on my car. They fixed my oil leak, yea. They provided me with a loaner (it was great), They were fast and got the job done. Price was great. This place is amazing. I was on a road trip and heard a very unsettling noise under my car so I drove to the nearest auto center. Turns out the cover under my car came loose. They secured my car in less than 20 mins! Great customer service!

2014 Ford Mustang GT,You get what you pay for.This is one month after work. no issues.Rear dif. Replacement 3.73 to "American Muscle" 3.43 planetary gear set assembly. Replacement of a worn two-piece drive shaft.Flawless work. No shop in Fayetteville or hope mills NC has the specialized skills or confidence do the work.@Cain's Auto Shop in Hope Mills falsely diagnosed the shops perfect work and refused to even look at the vehicle. Turned out they are just lazy and very inexperienced. Typical for Fayetteville.Johnsons came through again and went above and beyond. The wheel bearing was bad, and the two-piece drive shaft was worn. Both were replaced. No issues. They even assisted in giving technical info. during purchasing, so the correct components were purchased. It avoided wasting my time and theirs.Very professional,I would recommend them to anyone.

I live in VA. Made a trip to NC. Water pump went out on my ram truck. Johnson s Transmission towed me back at a great price. Would recommend this place highly. The people I dealt with were 5 star

Took vehicle in for tuneup and oil change, etc. Everything flowed smoothly, from drop off, follow up contact, etc. Look forward to bringing my vehicle to Johnson's for future repairs and service needs.

I brought my Kia Cadanza for a repair in Lillington. I was told I would need to go to the dealership and the repair would be $1,500 or more. I drove it to Johnson Transmission. This was my 2nd time there and for the 2nd time I was 100% satisfied. They replaced the part and fixed it for for under $700. I would use them more but they are over 40 mins away. 5 star plus. They are worth the drive.

I communicated with Don and Chris. Both gentlemen were very polite and very professional. Johnson's identified the problem quickly and communicated the problems to me They let me make the decision to continue or not. Their work was top quality. They replaced the needed parts with quality parts and had me on the road very soon. They have a new customer for life. One will not go wrong using this fine business. Have used them several times for mechanical work on my Kia. I have found them to be honest and trustworthy, which is hard to find these days in the auto repair business. I love that they send you a text message to check on your car in the following days after completing service.
