Good selection of items and super nice folks working here. The place usually isn't too busy and you can get what you need and be out quick. Making a left out of the parking lot can be a real pain depending on day and time though.

Come on, folks. It's an ace hardware. You can beat the service or the selection. They always seem to have everything I need. And, if for some reason they don't, they can get it in no time!

Friendly staff and an excellent variety of stainless steel hardware. Unfortunately the online and store inventory are not in sync. One too many wasted trips.

I enjoy having an Ace Hardware store local to my home, it's helpful for keeping things in working order around the house!It would be great to think that one wouldn't need to fix anything while on vacation, but I had a flat tire on my bicycle when we arrived at the Outer Banks (Corolla). I really didn't want to trek back to Kitty Hawk! The drive from the bridge through Duck to Corolla is LONG, especially on arrival day!Thankfully, I could use my wife's bicycle, even brought the dog, to get a new inner tube, a new bike lock and long cable for the lock. There was a sign on the door welcoming leashed well behaved dogs. Everyone was helpful and friendly.I feel better about visiting Corolla on the Outer Banks because Ace is there!

Everyone is super friendly and helpful!Despite the higher costs than the other big box stores I was able to find good sales. The higher costs are a convenience cost since they are the only hardware store within 10 miles. The next nearest store is in Duck which is also a bit higher than the other big box stores over 20 miles away.

All Ace Hardware locations along the Outer Banks area great alternatives to their big box competitors. Employees really do know what they're talking about. Just like their advertising-the helpful hardware folks. The Kitty Hawk location has an extensive pool & spa section.

Great location, bespoke items based on the outer banks location. Excellent friendly service. 4 stars only because they did not have as much inventory as a larger store but it's too be expected.

It was fine. The folks who worked there were not the most friendly or helpful but the weren't bad. It may be the covid-19 because they were not very well stocked, but was able to rig some stuff together. It was fine.

Nice convenient shop for picking up a new flashlight. Smaller than our hometown one but looks like they had a good appropriate to location selection. Very friendly and helpful staff. Easy parking.

Friendly staff, plenty of selection and prices that don't gouge you like some resort town specialty stores do. This location was very helpful to me while I was visiting on vacation. The staff was very eager to help.

It's Ace Hardware! Always a great place to go, get what you need and get good recommendations from the staff in a very friendly atmosphere.Highly recommend them over the cookie cutter beach stores as well for sensible beach item and better quality.

Staff is friendly and the score is generally well stocked. It's the closest hardware store for 20 miles so it saves a lot of time but their prices are higher than lowes or home depot

ACE always has a lot of different items in stock that you might not think they'd have so it's good in a pinch, but the downside is it can be expensive for those items.

My husband and I frequently buy items at the Corolla store. As locals we obviously buy out of convenience - rather than the long drive down to Kitty Hawk for larger stores. What amazes me is the variety of items they keep stocked - which is so helpful to us as property owners and also for our construction company. The polite and helpful staff always help if we need a construction item that's not obvious on their shelves. One time I needed something for my truck and one of the guys spent time helping me find a solution (which ended up being an envirnmentally friendly lube to break a frozen part on my truck). We buy our well water filters there also - not many local places on the Outerbanks sell 1 micron. I would love to see them expand to offer a variety of lumber :)

I am leaving a tremendous "Thank You!" Review for Kristopher at the Ace Hardware in Corolla Beach! He took the time to help my mother get a grill for their beach house. He went above and beyond to help her and our family greatly appreciated it. Thank you Kristopher and thank you Ace Corolla for always taking care of our needs when we are in the OBX!

Good selection for a small store. You pay a little more for the convenience of staying in Corolla for your needs. Worth every penny in the summer. Nice friendly poeple and helpful .

Typical Ace hardware with the usuals and the localized add ons. This location has a bit of beach and marine items and the staff are very helpful. Good experience.

The store itself was very clean and organized but the cashier working today was a real jerk...rolling his eyes and not people service friendly at all! Other than that great hardware store!

When you're in the area, you need to stop for the iconic photo of your family in the big red chair. They also carry a few beach blow ups here, they're generally better quality than the blow ups at Wings.

Convenient store with a variety of items. Ace had saved me many trips to kitty hawk and time!! Prices are slightly higher but the gas savings makes up for it!!!
