I was recommended to try Lkn Auto Repair Shop a few weeks ago and i will never go anywhere else. Tom and his team truly care about their customers. Very helpful, honest, and personable. Thank you for going above and beyond to make sure my car is safe to operate. I will always bring my car to you for services and repairs.

I ve been going here for almost eight years, and my family has been going here for even longer before me. Not once have I had a repair go wrong, or an unpleasant interaction with the owner or staff members. Every quote I have been given has been accurate, and if they happened to notice that something else was wrong with the vehicle, I was notified immediately. I ve never been ripped off here and for as long as I live in the Carolinas I will continue to get my vehicles serviced here.

Honest people, relaxed environment, good prices. They caught my catalytic converter code the first time I went in and made sure I got to a dealership to have it replaced under warranty. They didn't make money from the situation and still advocated for me, made the phone call on my behalf, coached me on how to make sure I didn't have to pay. I don't live in the area anymore and still went back the other day to have my car checked over, because it's obvious they run a good business.

It's hard to find an honest machenic Tom is definitely one. I won't trust anyone else to work on .my vehicles. And Ashley is awesome!

Fair, honest, and got the jobs done surprisingly quick! Didn't try to upsell with stuff you don't need. I'll definitely be taking Dora (my explorer ) there soon! Did an excellent job on the volvo!

Prompt and professional service at a reasonable price.It's hard to find a good honest mechanic these days, and I have been very fortunate to find LNK Auto Repair upon my recent move to Cornelius. I've been in three times for my two vehicles and all of my experiences have been great. I highly recommend LKN Auto Repair.

I cannot praise this business enough! Today, my Jeep broke down an hour away from where I live (it wouldn t shift into gear, not to mention I also had my child and dog with me). I began calling my insurance and reaching out to tow companies trying to figure out how to get my vehicle back home (1 hour away) and trying to figure out how to also get my child and dog back home as well. I googled local mechanic shops and came across LKN Auto Repair that was less than a mile away from where I broke down. I called and explained what was going on with my Jeep and the situation I was in, and the owner personally came out to me (within 3 minutes) and looked at my Jeep. He was able to get it to shift into gear and told me to bring it by the shop and he would get it fixed. The moment I pulled into the shop, the owner took it back and multiple mechanics on site jumped on it immediately and repaired the Jeep within 20 minutes and refused to charge me. I cannot speak highly enough of this shop and the people that work here! This place is an excellent family run business, and if I lived closer they would absolutely be the place I d take all my vehicles for service and maintenance needs. If I m ever in need of any vehicle repairs or maintenance while I m this area again, this will be the ONLY place I will consider! They were very understanding of my situation and could see that I had my hands full, and they dropped everything to help me out. Places like this help restore my faith in humanity. This shop is wonderful and so are the people who work here. They treat you like family the moment you walk in the door! If you need any work done on your vehicle, please make this your shop! I cannot recommend them enough, nor thank them enough for taking care of me and my family and ensuring I was able to get them home! This place was truly a blessing to my family and I.

This shop does outstanding work and has great prices. My vehicle brought them a lot of challenges but despite the difficulties they prevailed and did excellent work. Hard working and honest till the end. Thanks again - Ben

As a female, it can be nerve-racking locating a shop that is honest and fair. I was recommended LKN Auto Repair five years ago, and wouldn't go anywhere else. My husband and I appreciate all of the worker's patience, professionalism, and knowledge. Plus, it's always super clean and inviting which you *definitely* don't see often in shops! This was my first experience about a year ago; See below for my visit today on 9-22-23.There are no words that could describe the kindness of LKN Auto Repair--truly none. My battery died a week ago and I suspected it was the alternator. I jumped my truck, charged the battery, called Tom and he set up a time this past Friday for me to come in and to check things out. The initial test of the battery/starter/alternator checked ok, then they ran a parasitic draw test on my battery and it showed something drawing energy from the battery. They spent at least 2 hours on Friday and more time today checking it out. After pulling the fuses, checking everything, the draw disappeared and no true culprit was found. I got there to pick up my car and pay and they would not charge me anything. ANYTHING. I insisted I pay--they spent several hours looking over things, I had to pay. They would not take ANYTHING. This kindness is extraordinary in today's world and above and beyond anything I deserved. In short, LKN has developed a life long customer----I've never been treated so royally. I can only so THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU.Update--I've been back every time since my first visit to LKN Auto Repair. Service is top notch from Tom and Ashley. I am treated like family. Truly stellar service from scheduling to visit EVERY SINGLE TIME. With gratitude for your care and service. Today, Tom expeditiously investigated why my F150 was misfiring and took care of things. No wonder this place has a 5 star review all the way. I unexpectedly stopped with my 2 small kids today because while I smelled something like a very strong oily smell. As soon as I got into the office, the gentleman greeted me and asked me how he can help. I asked him how soon can he rescue me as I did not expect that he would take a look at my car right away BUT he did. I m so grateful and do respect very much a small business like his. I m bringing my car to him from now on. I was back on the road with my kids in 30 min.Service: General repairs & maintenance

While traveling home to the Atlanta area on New Year's Day, my family and I found ourselves stranded. After stopping at a QuikTrip off the interstate, our van stalled and wouldn't start again.The next morning I had the van towed to LKN Auto Repair, one of the few nearby shops open that day. Tom and his crew worked hard to diagnose the problem (a fuel pump that stopped working) and get a new pump installed the same day (replacing the fuel pump on a Chevy Express isn't the easiest job, as it requires removing the large 30-gallon fuel tank to access the pump).I appreciate Tom understanding my predicament and pushing hard to get me back on the road. I would definitely use LKN again if I were local.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I don't write reviews much, but LKN auto repair gave me an urgency to write one because of the quality of the experience. Andy is one of the most honest and down to earth guys I know. Being full of integrity and hard work, you will not have to worry about what you are being told mechanically or doubt the quality of work. I trust him 100% with my car at any moment, regardless of the issue. Its a great crew that really cares about each customer and I guarantee you will be satisfied. Its great to have your own mechanic you can trust.

I trusted Andy for a couple of years with both my vehicles. He was always helpful in explaining what the issue was and looked for the best price on parts. In more cases than not the vehicle was done before the time/day he told me. Last year our family bought land and moved an hour away to Stanly County. Looking for a new mechanic who is trustworthy and gives the same service I had come to expect from Andy was one of the many things I dreaded doing. For 9 months I made the one hour commute to Cornelius because I had not found a reliable replacement to work on my vehicles. Through a trusted friend I have finally found someone "just like Andy" to work on my cars. If you live anywhere in the Lake Norman area and own a car I recommend LKN Auto. Your car will thank you. You're wallet will thank you. And you will then give a well-deserved Thank You to Andy.

I brought my car in for a couple of services. Andy was honest with me about what I actually needed done and what could wait for a while. The service that I did need was done quickly and I was charged a very fair price. I will definitely be bringing my car back for future service and would highly recommend LKN Auto Repair to anyone!

LKN has fixed our brakes and looked at our car when we were having issues. They were not able to diagnose the issue and advised us to take it to Nissan. They have been loyal and honest to us every time we took the car to them. I highly recommend using LKN auto.

Best experience with an automobile mechanic. Andy and his team are fantastic. I had a gremlin in a Mercedes engine which was misdiagnosed 3 times by other repair shops. LKN Auto repair solved the problem and fixed it at an unbeatable price. Andy and I got to talking and it turns out he was also a mechanic on commercial aircraft. As a commercial airline pilot I have to rely on the people who work on the jets that I fly. The trust is unconditional when safety is at risk. I will spread the good word about this shop and give my utmost recommendation to anyone needing any type of repair. If there was an option for a sixth star I'd use it. Honest, fair and dependable service.

It is such a pleasure to have Andy Schott as the man to work on my car! As a female I have been to many different car repair shops (several in Cornelius) and I was ALWAYS treated disrespectfully and poorly by the men who ran those businesses. Not so with Andy! He is such a wonderful, trustworthy, honest, and hard working man who runs his business with a true heart to serve everyone with his very best. It is so refreshing to be treated well and know that Andy isn't talking down to me or lying to me (which has happened numerous times at other car repair shops). He searches for the most cost effective way to fix your car, and he does it with integrity. I never wonder if he did what he said with my car and I've never had to go back in for the same problem because he didn't fix it correctly the first time. My husband also enjoys going to Andy, and he loves how relaxed and upfront Andy is. We have never had issues with this shop and Andy has kept our cars healthy and running well. We will remain loyal customers to LKN Auto Repair!

I highly recommend LKN Auto Repair for your car service needs. I trust Andy with our personal vehicles as well my business vehicles. He is always fair in his pricing and superior in his work. If something isn't working properly - he always stands behind his work and makes it right. You WILL NOT find a better place in the Lake Norman area to get this kind of service.

LKN Auto Repair has repaired ALL my cars for years. They are professional, conscientious, and are always honest and up front about what it will take to fix my car. They never add on services that I don't need but always make sure I know about anything that may be a problem now or down the road! I love the personal service I get and I have recommended them many times to friends. If you're looking for a friendly, safe place to get your car worked on this is it!!

Had several quick visits over at LKN Auto Repair. Andy is always a super friendly, up front and honest guy and really knows his stuff. He definitely has the customer's interest as #1 on his list and has a passion for what he does and it shows! He has reasonable rates and even if you want to stop by for a quick hello, the conversation is great too!

Dealer told me I needed a new engine because oil was getting into cooling system (15 quarts in a week). Took car to LKN Auto Repair for a second opinion. Described the problem, and Andy's first question was if it was 3.6 Liter engine (it is...).Suffice to say they knew what the problem really was, repaired and tested, and my car works just like it did prior to the problem. And I saved >$10,000 in the process.100% will use again, and would recommend to anyone looking for quality work from honest people at a good price and fast service.Services: Engine repair, Oil change

I haven't been in the area long and needed a good place for some maintenance. Found LKN based on reviews and they were all 100% correct. Andy and his shop were wonderful, very friendly, decently priced, and even went so far as to help me out with a ride back home so I could keep working for the day. Definitely worth it and made the whole process very easy. Also, many places would have tried to rack up a bill on some of my car concerns, but they were honest and fair about what truly did and did not need to be worked on. They even took care of the little things for me, tire pressure, topped off fluids, etc. I recommend them and will be returning myself for any future needs. Thanks Andy and guys!

I went to LKN Auto Repair based upon the glowing reviews that I saw on Google and have to say that I was not disappointed in the least bit. I did fairly extensive research on the symptoms that my vehicle was having and was worried that the repair was going to cost me upwards of $500. I paid less than $100 and the problem was fixed.....without any upselling. I have to agree with the previous reviews in saying that Andy seems to be a qualified and honest mechanic. I will be recommending LKN Auto to friends and family in the future.

I am so happy I found Andy at LKN Auto Repair. He managed to get my car in tip top shape for a driving vacation that I will be taking in a few short days. I was very impressed with his honesty, kindness, knowledge & service. He will be servicing all my & my family's auto needs. Hats off to LKN Auto Repair and all who helped me.

I've spent years in the Charlotte area looking for a good mechanic that I trust. Found LKN Auto in the last year and have been very pleased with their work. Andy is great. He is honest, has reasonable rates, and does a great job.

LKN Auto repair is THE place to take your vehicle in the Lake Norman area. Andy and crew are fantastic at fixing our problems. My wife and I have both taken our vehicles there and been very pleased with the results. Not only will you get your issue fixed, but Andy will charge you a lot less than the corporate garages.
