Duncan and the team at DAP make it by far the best independent shop I've been too! I brought them my S5 that just crossed over 100k miles and they helped point me in the right direction for some repairs / preventative maintenance and knocked it out of the park! They were very responsive and accommodating with all of my questions and had a deep understanding of these cars. My car runs like it's brand new and their prices were very competitive. I will be returning for all of my future maintenance.

Excellent experience! Made an appointment online and when I showed up they jumped on my vehicle. Extremely courteous and clean facility. They were eager to answer my questions and made sure I understood all work performed and advised me of future service needed. Will definitely be taking my Audi TT back to them.

Staff were extremely Courteous. Scheduling was spot on with 0 delays and had the parts necessary to complete the job less then a week after Scheduling the repair. Great job to the team! Now that the Timing job is done I can focus on much cheaper repairs

They were very precise with both the service and the cost for the service. We decided to wait because the wait time was an hour to 30 minutes that as well was on point to the second. They were very friendly and the Customer Service was outstanding. Will most definitely be using them again.

Fantastic team of very knowledgeable guys. If you own an Audi and have an issue, take it here first. I also like the way they keep you up-to-date with a messaging system, and you are provided detail on what s wrong with the part as well as approval for continuing the repair

I initially filled out the online service request for an oil change but then decided to call and speak with someone directly. After speaking with someone they looked up my request and confirmed the appointment and I was told that I would receive a text regarding the appointment. Never received the text so I had to call back and the young lady that answered the phone sent me both an email and text regarding the appointment. Could have been a better first time experience as a first time customer but I won't let the minor service appointment request mix up I encountered ruin the overall experience I had with getting an oil change at DAP. In at 7:30 AM out by 9:00 AM. Thanks

DAP Repair is our "go to garage" for our 2013 VW Tiguan. We had a serious gasoline leak rendering the car unsafe to drive. After having the car towed to DAP Repair, they diagnosed the problem as cylinder three injector seal leaking. We decide to replace all four injectors. They did the repair very quickly and we picked the car up a couple days later. Staff are always very friendly and courteous. These guys are the best.

5 stars. My local import specialty shop had just finished replacing the water pump and I had them do a full inspection and they said it was good to go . Less than 2000 miles later my timing chain stretched and slipped, bending valves etc in the head. (Thanks a lot local import specialty shop- this timing chain tensioner check is included in DAPRepair s inspection, BTW).I had my Audi towed to DAPRepair from Columbia SC to replace the head/timing job and had them do a full inspection on the vehicle since I lost trust in my previous mechanic s diagnostics. They replaced two front control arms, front axles, also a leaking vacuum pump that was brought to my attention.DAPRepair really saved my butt on this one as no one locally (Columbia sc) wanted the job. Communication was excellent - answered my phone questions and have a text based update system with links to your vehicle s progress. Duncan was knowledgeable and pleasant to speak to on the phone. I have since put 500 miles on the car and it s running great! I have and am recommending DAPRepair for everyone with an Audi/VW anywhere near Charlotte. Thanks again.

This was my first time having an upgrade to my VW Alltrack. Went with the BMP LED headlight upgrade. Schedule time was perfect, Communication excellent and only took a short period of time to complete! Wow, Am I happy! I would give them a score of 6! Thanks guys! All the best! Bill F.

DAP did a pre-purchase inspection on my Golf wagon - I used it to negotiate the cost of the repairs off the price, so it was more than worth it! The dealer looked over DAP s report and remarked that it was one of the most thorough PPI he d seen. A ringing endorsement.

I was blown away at the professional staff, welcoming demeanor and level of detail that was used in evaluating my vehicle. I consider DAP my new go to and plan on staying with them for our automotive needs.

DO NOT bring your car here. Brought my MK6 R in for an electrical no start issue. Spent $3,000 and 3 months to have them fail to fix the issue. Nothing but headaches and shotty workmanship.

Excellent. Very professional. I asked for a inspection on my 2017 Jetta. They were on time and very communicative. They finished when they said they would. Inspection report is very detail with pictures. Thanks!

This is my go to shop for modifications on my GTI. They do great work and the staff is top notch. If you're in the Lake Norman/Charlotte area I highly recommend.

Started bringing my GTI here after the dealership's maintenance period was up. They're more reasonably priced than the dealership without compromising on quality of work. I've also never felt they were pushy about performing services that weren't needed.Added bonus if you're waiting on you're vehicle in the afternoon, there's a brewery across the street. Repairs were completed in a timely manner. Final cost was a little higher than originally quoted but , that happens sometimes. I recently visited this auto shop, and I must say, the employees were outstanding! Their expertise was evident as they patiently answered all my questions and provided helpful recommendations. Throughout the service, they remained professional, efficient, and attentive, making sure everything was done to the highest standard. The DAP Repair team provided excellent service for my 2013 VW Beetle. They were much more reasonably priced than other shops in town, were kind and respectful, and provided timely updates on my vehicle. The mechanic kindly stayed late to make sure my car was ready to go for the holiday weekend. 10/10 I won t be taking my car anywhere else from now on!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Oil change

Good mechanics and got the work done on my car in a timely manner. Very expensive car repair. The diagnostic of the car costed $130 and the actual labor to replace bad sensors on my car was 2.5x the diagnostic price. Would recommend if money isn t an issue for you and you want your car done in a reasonable amount of time.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

I've been going to DAP repair since I moved to Charlotte about 2 years ago. They were recommended to me by a customer who came into my job. Never a problem. They're fast, but they do good work, and they're great with communication. I ended up trading the VW GTI I had for another make, but if I ever get another VW or Audi, I would definitely go back to them.Service: General repairs & maintenance
