I ve always had good service here. A lot better than auto zone. I usually call in the part and then go get it. It s ready when you get there. It is busy sometimes but they handle it well. Very helpful actually. I highly recommend this place for sure. We will be back

I want to say how much I dislike this advance auto. I had a bad battery been trying to get it replaced for a whole year. Come to my original store Lenoir rhyms and is replaced in 5 mins. I will NEVER visit this store again. THANK YOU CODY AT LENOIR R STORE!!! He gave 5 star service and I will be calling in a praise report for him. Great job!!

Brought a 3month alternator for an exchange and was told I had to go to the Advance I purchased because their system isn't linked with my info(they didn't even try). Never had this issue before. Don't waste your time with this location.

Idiots! I ordered something on the Advance Auto app. Course you look into it and they say oh this makes things so simple plus they give you the discount. So I needed a radiator and ordered a stupid little four dollar gasket on top of it just because I would need it if I did the job. I placed the order it took it out of my card not one minute later it canceled the radiator that I absolutely needed and still sent me the stupid O-ring which I don t need now because I don t have the radiator and charge me shipping on top of it don t waste your time with this place or this app I could deal with them along time ago thought I d give him another chance. ****, this place. Oh yeah and meantime they ve got over $60 of my money tied up which I need to order me a radiator.

My car randomly started hesitating to start and all of my gauges were going crazy. I got off work late and knew I had to get this fixed because I cannot be without a car with my life. Even though it was near close, I went in and told them I knew it was near closing but asked if they could test it for me. Zach immediately obliged with the battery and engine testing. My battery was the issue and he replaced it for me right away. My battery was especially difficult, and he still had such a nice and helpful attitude even after close and in the heat. He was so laid back and nice the whole time. I appreciated this so much because I was freaking out and all of my car's issues resolved and the gauges all cleared in a few minutes. Problem solved!

The battery went dead in my wife's car that she only drives a few times a month. The car is 8 years old and still has the original battery. I charged it overnight and got it going again, but figured it was getting weak and should be replaced. The Conover Advance was the only local auto parts store with the correct size battery in stock. I was fully prepared to buy a new battery. I took the car to Advance Auto in Conover to get their free installation. They tested the battery, both on and off load, and found the battery was still good. They advised my wife just to drive the car longer and more often so the engine could keep the battery charged better. They could have easily sold me a battery, but honestly advised me otherwise. The technician even refused to accept a tip that I was glad to offer in lieu of purchasing a $200 battery. The manager was also quite helpful and apologized repeatedly for someone speeding through their parking lot to visit a neighboring store, although he had nothing to do with it. Very good people here. When I DO need a battery, or any other auto parts, I'll make sure to visit the Conover Advance Auto Parts store.

I went into the Advance Auto Parts in Conover North Carolina there was no one @ the front desk so I walked through the store by myself looking. U I got to the front desk after looking for my bolts I needed and the guy couldn't really help me he looked in but he couldn't help me on the computer so he should have probably walked back and looked but he didn't so I'm standing there looking for bolts that I really don't know where at. And there's a couple hundred different styles of bolts so you can imagine my displeasure or anyone's not a good way to start the morning went back to the front desk and the man still couldn't help me the store was clean organized no trash laying around did not use the bathroom on this trip I can't write about employees on this one because I only talk to One employee and he didn't know what he was going on. The parking was phenomenal if you couldn't find a place up front you were just out of luck because there had plenty of parking everywhere it was clean as well I would say it would be kid friendly cuz there wasn't enough people there to make it not to would have just like some more interaction about where the product in the store was very wheelchair accessible plenty of wheelchair accessible parking as well

I have been using the store for over 20+ years, I worked there through high school and college and I understand how warranties work. I'm not ignorant in the fact that the manager cannot be rude to the customer in any situation. We disagreed on a warranty matter and I left angry without a resolution. The next day he offered somewhat of a resolution but I had to call up there and discuss it with him myself, I feel it could have been handled better while I was in the store.

Replaced power steering pump was a few dollars cheaper than other local part stores had loaner tools that I needed and was in good condition sometimes hard to find staff was very helpful. Will return good prices and helpful staff a plus

They had what I needed but took them forever to look it up and tell me what I was actually looking for. For some reason when they looked it up it was showing four or five different parts and for some reason they needed my vin number just to find exactly what I was looking for.

Had them check a battery for my mom's car the lady that helped was incredibly knowledgeable and nice and explain to me that the battery did not need to be replaced and saved us hundreds of dollars it's rare that you find good customer service but that's exactly what we got!

I Am Not Sure Who The Strawberry Blonde Girl Is In There But Avoid Dealing With Her.. Saying She Is Rude Would Be A Compliment.. Everytime I Go In There She Is Rude To Me! They Sure Have Lost Some Great People Over The Years.. Its Really Sad.. To See That You Spent Over 5K In One Year With Them And Then Get Treated Like Trash I Won't Have It! The manager John is incompetent, arrogant, and rude! He was supposed to clock me in my first day of work because I wasn t in the system yet.He failed to do so, and instead of fixing his mistake like any good manager would, he gave me the number to HR, and it s nearly impossible to reach them. I told him nicely but firmly that it was his mistake and his responsibility to fix it, and he hung up on me!The job only paid $9.00 an hour without commission, which is about what I made driving the PDQ van there in 1992. If Advance wants to keep good employees in Trump s great economy, they are going to have pay 21st century wages!

Worst customer service experience I have ever had. Upon entering, my grandfather and I informed the employee at the counter that we needed to purchase a battery and have it installed. The employee was training and did not know what to put in the system, so then the manager approached and was immediately rude, told us the price and then scoffed at my grandfather when he simply asked to confirm the price because we weren't expecting it to be so much, saying, "Well I told you what the price was!!!" My grandfather then simply asked about the brake cleaner to see if it was foaming or non-foaming, and the manager then snidely remarked "It's brake cleaner, IT DOESN'T FOAM." The manager went to install the battery in my car, and was attempting to remove additional items instead of just the bar above the battery. My grandfather told him simply that he did not need to remove anything else, and the manager replied "WELL DO YOU WANT TO JUST PUT IT IN, YOURSELF?" **just a note, my grandfather replaced my car battery the last time it needed to be replaced and has about 60 years experience working on heavy machinery and automobiles. This was just the tip of the iceberg of our horrible experience. Had we not already purchased the battery, we would have just left and went somewhere else. Do not go to this business if you want prompt, friendly service. Definitely go somewhere else.

I was not happy with my customer experience with the older man with braces at the spring road location He was rude, disrespectful an highly unprofessional. Even went as far as making jokes about how I didn't know what I was doing. Being a single mother trying to do what I can he compeatly single handedly made me feel incompetent an made a point to joke about it an laughing with another co-worker stating it was an inside joke as he proceeded to sing an play an imaginary banjo.

Great place if you need information or minor repairs or parts for all types of vehicles. Love the few battery test and wiper installation. You really can't beat the willingness to help of the staff here.
