I give them one star because they never returned my call for an appointment and question. I have heard good things about this group but anyone can buy reviews, I hope this was just a fluke but since I call them about a month ago maybe not. Times and people may have changed here in NC for courtesy but having good communication systems shouldn't please do better Hefti. You aren't the only one's either, but be better.

If anyone is in need of auto repair go see Peter at Hefti. Had an issue with my car and took to keep- they wanted to charge over $4,000Peter was able to find the problem at fix for only $600An honest auto repair shop. Would highly recommend!!!!

If you're looking for an excellent mechanic, look no further. Hefti has proven to us to be ethical, reliable, honest, professional and trusted time and time again. We've used them for unexpected problems and routine oil changes but today experienced what could have been a major problem and he could have told us it was major but resolved quickly and for much less than we expected. I had brought my car here twice before for inspection and air conditioner repair and guys were friendly, did a good job, and price was fair so a month ago when my care stalled I had it towed there to be looked at. In the morning they called, said they did the diagnostics and my transmission was shot. Said I needed a new one and parts and labor would be about 7,000. A friend of mine went to the shop to look at my car for me and they wouldn't let him. We had to pay 80 for diagnostics and 100 for another tow to my house so my friend could look at it. Turns out my transmission is fine. A speed sensor was loose and caused all my transmission fluid to drain. Friend tightened sensor, put tran oil in and car was fine. I've been driving the car from Concord to Charlotte daily on the Interstate for the past month since my friend fixed the problem and have had absolutely no problems. I stand by my statement the car is fine. Yes, I was fortunate that the transmission was ok after driving it dry and that my friend who knows how to work on cars was in town.

I did a lot of searching, checking out small to large business, inquiring about their expertise and prices. Disappointed with the big box names and a lot of independent businesses had only so and so performance record.I was not disappointed. Customers should take time to give these guys a positive review.Outstanding crew! First one recognizes the crew is top notch and has a great sense of humor. Should you be a clean freak, you will find the auto bays clean and neat compared to the rest of the established competition. The crews tools are always well taken care of and not strewn all over the place to include their massive tool chests.They consistently displayed exemplary service and work.Overall the the quality of the work is above reproach and the crew are, till hell freezes over, professional!

This was the first time taking my car here. Everything was straightforward from pricing with the choice of vehicle manufacturer parts or off brand. Availability of staff and the time to complete the wheel bearing replacement was excellent. The price to complete the work was competitive. I will definitely be back.

Best Mechanic Shop Around!! Best service, Best Prices and Best guys around. Very knowledgeable and very fair across the board. Factory service repairs, maintenance to custom jobs Pete and his crew do a great job. Pete and the guys are very clear to give you honest options and explain the pros and cons of your decisions about servicing your car. I have been taking my cars to Hefti for over 10 years now and everything from simple fixes on newer vehicles to custom disc brake conversion on classic old trucks has been handled professionally and correctly and fairly. Without question I would trust Pete to handle any of my auto repair needs on any of my vehicles, new or custom.

these guys do great work! I had my ford at another shop trying to fix a wiring issue, basically the previous owner had chopped the wiring up so bad for a aftermarket alarm system. I do most of my own work on this truck but electrical is where I am bad at. The wiring was cut and spliced a few times and looked like a jungle, it was so bad the first shop said I had to gut and replace the whole wiring harness and even then they didn't want to touch it. which I understood, so I called Tuesday after I got the news and asked if hefi does electrical which they do. They were very polite and did an amazing job. Although it was going to be a tough job they took care of me and charged me a very fair price for the nightmare I had going on. They replaced the burnt wire causing my electrical issue, no extra labor or new harness needed. although they said it was bad under the hood I should be fine just to be careful and unplug and rerun the wires of the tangled mess (which I was planning on doing myself). I planned on the truck getting looked at on Thursday but I got a call Wednesday afternoon letting me know it was done. I have to say I am hard to impress but these guys did an amazing job.

I highly recommend Hefty Auto for all your auto needs. They are VERY reliable and I trust them to get the work done. I have found them to be honest and have integrity, which is most rare in today auto repair shops. Their prices are fair. They are knowledgeable about the whole car. They got my car part the same afternoon! It was going to take the GM dealership 3 days to get it. The work is done on time! They are my #1 "GO TO" when I need service!

I recently took in my car for my 100k mile maintenance and an oil change. Hefti was able to squeeze me in at the last minute (I don't live in Concord but I have family there that recommended them for a time when I was in town). I just have to say WOW, the service was fantastic! Not only did they get my maintenance done, but they were able to fix a few other small issues as well all at the same time. They even did my inspection without me asking them to do so after they saw that I was due this month, saving me an extra trip! The price was very reasonable and everyone I dealt with was very friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I've been bringing my trucks to Hefti Automotive for years now, and I've always felt like I get great service at reasonable prices there. They're excellent at diagnosing problems, as my trucks have made many funny noises over the years. In addition they were a great help when deciding which new (used) truck to buy when I was in the market. They looked over each potential vehicle for me, and aided in my decision (an awesome Chevy Silverado 3500 diesel dually!) I would recommend this shop to anyone looking for hardworking, honest, skilled mechanics.

Was referred by an old friend who also owns a classic car. But my experience wasn t too pleasant. Lousy/irritated customer service on both calls w/ a particular employee...whose last name happened to be on his business cards...and on the building O_o, probably a sign of things to come. This gentleman was not transparent as he said he would be in analyzing the vehicle, so i had a change of heart. Had an issue explaining to me what i was being charged for (diagnostic), and went as far as to ask if i had a problem paying. He later apologized for his shortcomings, but once i got my vehicle home and looked through it, i noticed some wiring that had not been properly put back together. It was a diagnostic disaster.

Nice clean shop. Good service and they do not take a long time to get your vehicle in to be looked at. Ask for Pete, he's a nice guy and will take care of you.
