We were so impressed with this company from the very first contact with Heidi. She immediately sent us an estimate, we went in for a free diagnostic review & they put our battery in in less than an hour. The price was exactly the same as the estimate.

These guys are great, they drove 93 miles to my house from Charlotte and had my IMA battery back in place in about 1.5 hours! You won't go wrong using Greentec!Thanks Dennis

These folks are amazing! I'm a reasonably competent amateur mechanic, but I was a bit intimidated by the prospect of a Prius battery replacement. I also live nearly two hours away from the nearest Greentec Auto location, so getting the car to them was not going to be easy. I entered the order online and immediately received a call from Greentec. They very helpfully explained the residential delivery costs and considerations, and it was a "no brainer" to have the battery installed by their techs rather than doing it myself. They were at my house the next day, and it only took about an hour. Denis, the lead technician, was very informative and happy to answer all of my silly questions. I highly recommend Greentec Auto!!

Great experience. Dennis was very helpful with my Prius. I had the car towed there and they replaced it before noon. I chose the new (more expensive) battery. It came with a four year warranty. So four months later I had a problem, had the car towed there at 11am, Dennis replace the whole battery with a new one. He explained to me, must have been a bad cell. I was back on the road by 2pm. They stand by their work and batteries. Excellent customer service. Very fair prices. Hands down, this is the place to take your broken Hybrid.

I had a great experience with this company. When all the caution lights lit up on my 2007 Prius, and the service tech at the Toyota dealer told me the battery has died, I thought I would have to buy a new car. But after a little research I decided to replace the battery. Greentec saved me more than $1000 over the Toyota dealer for a new battery. From the beginning everyone i talked to went out of their way to help me understand my options and patiently answered my questions. The technician, Denis, came to my home to check it out, and discovered the inverter pump was bad, something the dealer s technician missed, and explained what he would do, and why. He was very professional and friendly. He ordered the pump and promptly did the work as soon as it came in. My car is running like new! I highly recommend Greentec!

Dennis and his coworker was great! Dennis kept me informed and they got it done in about a hour! The customer service was awesome from online as well. I highly recommend this place. I was looking for a new hybrid battery for my 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid and I came across with Greentec Auto. Spoke to customer care and set up appointment with Dennis in charlotte. He answered all my questions, and did an excellent job in less then 45 minutes. Great service and would recommend. My car is driving great now.Thank you Denis, Thank you Greentec Auto.

Great service! Arrived with my 2004 Honda Civic hybrid and the battery was replaced within an hour. I got the upgraded 8.0 amp hour (vs. Original 6.5 amp hour) to replace my failing battery. I was averaging 49.5 mpg, but on my drive home I averaged 57.1 mpg. Serious upgrade over the over battery! Dennis was great to work with!

I wanted to give to give everything some time before doing the review so that we could give the battery a proper test run. It has been 3 months now since Denis installed the new hybrid battery for my 2003 Honda Civic hybrid and I have nothing but good things to say.Backstory- Our car left us stranded because when the IMA died it gave us a day or so before it drained the 12v and died on our way home from a paint gig. We waited for hours for a jump and barely had enough juice to get home. I contacted Greentec and spoke to John who was extremely helpful. He booked our appointment with Denis and said they would get everything installed ASAP.Fast forward- when Denis came to our place and my husband told me he was getting started on changing our battery, he was done so quickly that it took longer for me to wash my hair than it did for him to replace the battery and put everything back together. Now our car is not only alive and well again but our gas mileage so drastically improved that even with frequent trips across town we had one tank of gas for close to 2 months!Thanks greentec you guys are amazing!

Great place to do business with, ask for Denis. I came in hesistant not knowing whether my battery was going bad or not. Denis and his team ran the battery through a diagnostic test and came back fair, but there were some dead cells in the battery pack. I've asked him to show me proof, which he did and was not annoyed or upset because of this. He explained to me the different battery types and I've decided to get the most expensive one because I know I'm gong to use this car till the wheels fall off. Yes, I paid an extra $1,000 for a new battery but atleast I know it was money well spent. The hell with the headaches, if you have the money go ahead and get the new one. Great place do business wiith. If you are the owner and you are reading this, Denis is a great asset to the team!

I have a 2010 Prius with 140K miles on it that had the dashboard lit up with the triangle of death. Since COVID19 I haven't been using it daily, so I think that didn't help. Did my research online and everything pointed to a dead battery. I reached out to them via their online chat tool, weren't to responsive (why I gave them 4 versus 5 starts). Ended up just calling. Appreciate they come to you for service. Denis came out and quickly identified the issue, besides a dead battery I had a bad converter and pump. Those items needed to be repaired at the shop, next day took it in. Following day car was ready. All in was around $3K, but cheaper than the dealer. Also you could try and save some $$$ by replacing the parts yourself, but too high risk and will take you longer. Denis was very responsive, polite and most important punctual on when he would show up, when the car would be ready. Appreciate that.

Excellent service ! Previously purchased a Dorman brand battery pack through NAPA which lasted only 2 years first time, then had to replace it twice after that in less than a year each.. Found a Greentec location in Charlotte NC, contacted them and got my daughter's 2005 Prius back on the road with a refurbished OEM battery pack.. Highly recommend them as a great low cost option for these hybrid/electric vehicles, and Denis was very helpful!

I needed a battery pack for my 2005 Prius with 256,000 miles. Denis drove 2.5 hours to my house and installed a reconditioned pack in less than an hour for half the cost of the dealer. Car runs better than it has for years. Looking forward to my next 100,000 miles and beyond.

I ordered the battery late last night and unfortunately ordered the wrong one. An associate came down from Charlotte today With the wrong battery as a result. I start a new job tomorrow and getting my car running again was critical. The friendly green tech auto associate wasn t going to be able to come back until next Tuesday. He knew it was important that I have a working car for tomorrow so he came over and rebuilt the battery with the cells from the battery he brought. His quick thinking and dedication to duty made a humongous difference to me and my family. Thanks again!

Brian answered all of my questions, called me as soon as my battery arrived (that only took a couple of days and that was quicker than he estimated), and was a courteous professional throughout the entire process. The entire job cost almost half of what the dealership quoted me. I will definitely recommend Greentec to others.

Mobile hybrid battery replacement was great because we would not have made it to Charlotte for the repair! They also told me exactly what was wrong with the instrument cluster in my daughter s Prius. I was amazed at how quickly he installed the hybrid battery. GreenTec s service is hands down better than Toyota s! I have an older Prius as well, so I know who to contact if I have trouble with my hybrid battery! -M. P.

When my hybrid battery failed after 12 years, a friend told me that I could have it replaced for less than half what the dealer charges. I called Greentec, made an appointment and everything has been working fine for the past 6 months. I chose the new battery option with the 3 year warranty with the expectation of finding an electric car by then.

I have a 2009 Hybrid Tahoe and all I can say is since Greentec Auto replaced the battery everything in the suv has ran beautiful. Wow great service! And A+++ when the product works to perfection. Thank You so much!

I have a 2007 honda accord hybrid. The IMA light came on and the code was a bad battery. Ordered a new one and installed it. Light was still on, so I bit the bullet and took it to the dealer since no one else felt comfortable working on the car with the IMA light on. The dealer said I needed a new IMA battery--huh? I already replaced this. This caught them off guard, but they said they would investigate. Suggested something with the IMA motor was bad, needed replacing-$4800 later and still light is on, car not working. Very unhappy, and I called greentec back. No problem, they asked me to bring the car by and they will test out the battery (that I bought from them) and diagnose the issue. Luckily the technician was going to Atlanta and, since I was "on the way", he was able to drop by to see the car, determine the problem. Bad inverter--and could replace it. I asked if they were sure this would fix the issue (I have already been burned), and he was confident that the inverter was it. Replaced the inverted and all the warning lights are off and the car works perfectly. Why couldn't the dealer handle this?? Felt like greentec really went out of their way to figure this out and the dealer just wanted to fix something expensive without really delving into the problem. Service at greentec was outstanding. Would highly recommend!

These guys are amazing! They did all the work I needed for over $1000 cheaper than the dealership. I love that they can come to you. If it wasn t for them, my Prius would still be stuck in the driveway. Thank you!

The technicians at this location were kind and had me in and out. I've had my refurbished battery for a 2-3yrs with no issues...would definitely recommend them over going to a dealership.

Ed was amazing, despite my extremely jerry rigged together Prius he was able to get my battery and inverter installed same day and get me back on the road when the dealership wouldn t even look me in the eye, five stars, excellent service and reasonable prices!

Can't beat the price, warranty. Shops throughout the us. They built a special battery for the insight at their shop in Kansas or Cal and had it in Charlotte in two days. Battery has been in for 2 months.
