Mr. Barbee and his team are AMAZING!!! He is extremely patient and understanding, but also explains things in a way that if you re new to car maintenance you don t feel dumb for asking the questions necessary. He s also pretty responsive & fair with pricing. Have been going to this shop for a couple years now. Has seen several of my family's vehicles and has always been great! Very honest people, very fair prices, original parts are always used. Honestly wouldn't trust any other mechanic to work on my vehicles unless it's the dealership. Highly recommend this shop!

Awesome place. Todd has never done anything to the car that didn't need to be done. Prices are fair, work is always done quickly and i have never had to return for something not being done right the first time. Only mechanic my wife trust. She will continue buying imports just to keep him as a mechanic.

New to NC and needed an oil change, Todd Barbee was recommend to me. I am so glad I chose him! Very nice, efficient, and fairly priced. I was with my last mechanic for 30 years, I look forward to building a relationship with Todd as well.

Honest, Great mechanic! Todd started his business out of a desire to do quality work on expensive imports for a fair price. And he does. You really mustn't use any other mechanic except Todd. He is the best. My car hums and I still have plenty of money Left over.

When you see in the other reviews that Todd (Owner) is a trustworthy man, believe them. I had a problem with my '92 Toyota truck that I just could not find, and Todd was recommended to me by a friend. Todd found the problem, and fixed it at a reasonable price. You can't ask anymore than that. So, if you have an import that needs a repair I highly recommend Barbee Import Services. You will not be disappointed.

Absolutely, positively the best place to take your import. Barbie Import Services is locally owned and operated by a two-decade-old service professional Todd Barbie, one of the best in the business. If you have a Toyota, Honda, Nissan, or any other imported vehicle, even if you just need an oil change, I would take it to Todd and his professional crew. They are fast, confident, and extremely professional, not to mention the best in the business. Take it from me, after 15 years in using Todd for all of our vehicles, he will take care of all of your needs for your family cars.

Really good used tires for cheap . Efficient work. I was done in about 40mins for all four tires. They have a swing where you can sit and wait, although not shades. Great work! I ll be back.

I have taken my vehicle to Todd many times and I must say that this place is a rare find. Being a woman, there is always the apprehension of car repairman taking advantage of the situation. Todd is truly a man of integrity who respects all of his customers. The prices are fair and the work completed has always been justified. My only regret is that I live so far away that I have been unable to consistently take my car there. If you live in the Concord area, this place is definitely worth trying.

Todd's a good dude,I'm not even a regular customer and he was willing to check out and give me an opinion on a used truck I was contemplating buying from a near by dealer. He took time out of his work day to go over (and under) this truck with me. If you're looking for genuine and honest people, this is the place.

Hands down most reliable and honest mechanic around. Toyota certified and will always tell you the truth. Trust me...save your money from the dealer fees and see Todd.

The best in Concord North Carolina when it comes to auto repair 4 Nissan, Toyota, and Honda vehicles, and others as well. Todd Barbie is a consummate professional and is as honest as they come. I would recommend Barbie Imports to anyone that I know for automotive repairs and detailing

This may be a little long.I had just bought a Scion xD on Saturday and got it street legal that Monday. I live in Gastonia but took my husband to work off of Sam Furr Rd, about 35 minutes away. Got all the way up there and noticed the car was trying to pull away even with my foot on the brake. Looked down to see the check engine light on and the RPMs revving up to 2k, to 3k over and over again. Now at this moment, I m feeling sick. I have my 2 year old little girl and skittish basset hound (no Leash either). Clearly, I thought this would be a normal back and forth trip.So I yelp some auto shops in the area and go to one which will not be named, but will be receiving a review from me after this. After speaking with the front desk person for 10 minutes about how a technician has to troubleshoot it and drive it (remember my little girl and dog with no leash??) and how it ll cost $120 JUST FOR DIAGNOSIS I finally said can t you just hook it up to the computer and pull the code? , he was like oh yeah. I get the code (ECT circuit), call my mechanic & he says I can drive it home but I just bought this car. Idw take any chances. So I google and start calling shops in the area. One shop recommended Barbee Import Services since he only worked on Hondas.Now my phone is dying. I need to get gas, my dog and daughter are WAY OVER being in this car any longer. I call and let the man know my situation, the whole horrible situation. Lol He says bring it on in. When I pull up, another gentleman starts going over the car automatically, computer hooked up, getting the VIN....within a few minutes they re wanting to pull it up to the bay. The owner graciously let me borrow a leash that had been left by another customer as well (as long as I gave it back ) and I hooked up my phone to a charger in the office. So I start walking my dog around to go potty and before I know it, they re pulling the car back over to me and handing me the keys. It was unplugged. The owner says.I was flabbergasted. That s it? How much do I owe you?! Oh, nothing! He replies.And he refused to allow me to give him any money.I was in tears. To go from some place that wanted to take advantage of me for whatever reason knowing how absolutely vulnerable I was with a child involved (not to mention, had the first shop I went to helped me the first go around, I would ve been able to get my daughter from school at 2:30....something I told them as well) to this awesome small business that valued their integrity and customers care....it truly restored my faith in humanity. (I need to add, I get the first place is trying to run a business but sometimes situations arise where you can be a good human being instead of make money. I had money, just not for what they were asking for.)In any case, I fully intend to bring my cars back to Barbee Import Services, despite living 45 minutes away because I KNOW they will be serviced correctly and with my full trust.I CANNOT recommend Barbee Import Services enough!!! Thank you so much for helping me and bless y all for being so awesome!!
