Recently had 2 separate issues. One was car was shaking hard at 60-70mph. I assumed alignment and took it to them. The mechanic took a look and told me to go get new tires. Fixed problem. Then my battery was dying every few days. Took it to battery shop that tested battery and said it was fine. Took it to another shop and they told me alternator with estimate of $500 to fix. Scheduled appointment for a week later. Happened past Clyde Alignment again so stopped to get their opinion(since he was honest about the tires) and he checked and said battery wasn't good and recommended new battery. Went directly to parts store and had battery replaced(boy have they gotten expensive) and now weeks later it is still working fine. Both times this shop could have done the work and made the money but recommended other fixes that did not involve them. Really like their honesty.

Every single town in America has a mechanic, yet they are NOT created equal. These men are pleasant to deal with, very reasonably priced and they know their stuff regarding automobiles of various types. Ive taken several different vehicles to them and have always been satisfied with their work.Clyde is lucky to have these guys!!!

I have stopped at this shop 5 times, helped me with no eye rolling, no attitude and twice was at losing time. When nobody else would help me, this man helped me when he could have said come back tomorrow. Hope he enjoyed the pizza I sent the very next day. It's feast or famous with me being on disability with custody of a grand child. I never forget people like these. They will get all my future business.

I was passing through town and noticed I needed new brake pads. No one else in town could get me in for the next few days. After talking with Clyde alignment about my situation, they were able to get me in and out of their shop with new brake pads and back on the road in 30 minutes. Can't thank them enough!

Tried two different places in Waynesville to check my tire.First place went morning and told come back after lunch with appointment set.After returning with appointment waited an hour and car was still parked.Tried another place in waynesville where I live and said 3-4 hours wait for tire leak check.Called Clyde tire and he said pull in lot he would be right out.Done in five minutes and tire plugged

I've lived in this area for 10 + years, took my older vehicle here quite a few times for various reasons, never had any trouble, I've brought them at least 4 different vehicles over the years and they have always done a great job - even helped me out with random emergency (tire issue) , they have had their moments with some folks but I've never been mistreated or scammed by Steve or Dave. Infact , I'd have been screwed many times over if not for these guys. They always look out for you and are honest about the work they can do. Also the price of labor is not expensive, I've always brought them the parts I need installed because it saves money and time. Sometimes it's difficult to get an appointment because they get busy and are just 2 older men. They do best with older cars, but can still handle a lot on the newer ones too.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection, Oil change

Took my truck to 7 different places and nobody could get my alignment right or would even attempt it because it was really far out. I pulled up and told them everything. They said they could fix it. I asked them how long it would take because I figured I would have to leave it. They said 15 minutes. In 15 minutes or so my truck was perfect. I am so very happy and will recommend them to everyone! Thank you. Yall are the best!

Worst place I have ever dealt with. Owner is very rude and try s to intimidate you by cussing and threatening you. Was quoted 1 price ( on speaker phone with 3 witnesses) & ask if I could pay with my credit card over the phone & was told yes. Called back for payment it was almost a 100.00 more when ask why was cussed told he would just keep my car & took the keys & refused card payment. Hung up on me I called back again trying to pay & was cussed & told he no longer took over the phone payment ( again on speaker phone w/ 3 witnesseslistening) Sent my daughter to pay refused card would only except cash and refused receipt. Cussing (threatening) me & my family the whole time ( again with witnesses listening) I would not send my worst enemy to this establishment. If erased I have copied to continue posting for all to know before they enter this place of business

I needed an alignment on the Fly and it was day after Labor Day everywhere was packed I kept calling everywhere no one could do it I called Clyde alignment and auto repair and I was in there and no time 30 minutes later job done couldn't ask for more

Worst place had wrong steering column instead of waiting to get the right one Jerry rigged it now truck won't start windshield wipers go on and off at will can't take wrong part back because it's tore up even tore up old steering column never go there again if it was the last place on earth never even closed the hood all the way flew open while driving down the road

Went in for a new set of tires and front end alignment. Ended up with vibration in car. Took back 6 times. They still did not get shaking out of car ! They finally agreed to swap tires for a different brand. Test drove amd seemed okay . Took home. Do not drive much but next time took car out was doing same thing again!! Did not take back again out of frustration. To point now a couple months later I can't drive it because of shaking. Broke down and called them back about it and they said because I left with it and seemed okay then would not even discuss issue with me. If you want to set fire to your money and not get your problem fixed by all means go see these ppl. Would not recommend on a bet !!

Steve and David are one of a kind these guys has did a lot of work on my cars. And alway perfectly did it. I've always included a little extra money to them when I can. Thank you for helping me and caring about the customer.

Ran over a metal object on the interstate and within minutes my tire was dangerously low. At that same time had a detour message to go through Clyde. Perfect timing from God! They were courteous, fast working, and reasonably priced. I was back on the road in minutes! Thank you!

Has done 2 alignments for me and I haven t even had an appointment, he just squeezed me in! Good place to go, reasonable prices! Showed me where the computer was indicating the problems and explained it in layman s terms I have seen this program before so I know that he s showing me his honesty!!

Clyde Auto Repair specializes in "front end alignment"...--- and they will do a true 4x4 alignment.They have the equipment, and they have the experience;I have used them several times...reasonable prices.I wouldn't bring a sophisticated car to them for repair,but most basic repairs they can handle.

I like Hometown Hardware. They always have everything I want and if not out they will look in the back for it. The people there are very helpful. The store is very nice and clean and organized.

Went in yesterday to have the breaks and alignment done and found out a few other things needed to be replaced but they were very kind and explained everything said my car would be finished at 4 and it was so I'm very pleased with the work they did and my car runs and stops like brand new will most defiantly be taking my car there when it needs work, thanks guys

Honest and honorable. They couldn't do an alignment to their standards due to a rusty tie rod end, so they didn't charge me.

Was quoted a price nearly $300 more than three other places I consulted with. Same parts, same labor. Call around, people. Don't just go with the closest, most convenient option.
