My Toyota 4Runner had a horrible vibration so I took it to Discount Tire for a Road Force Balance, vibration remained and they told me it was the tires. Brought it to GT where I have my regular service done and they did the Road Force Balance the correct way, (actually removing the tires from the wheels during the balance). Shake in the steering wheel/vibration above 55 mph completely gone, drives like a dream. Glad to find a local shop with fair prices and quality service. Friends who both service their Honda Ridgeline's here recommended GT Imports when I was visiting from out of town. Very professional and transparent. Knowledgeable about things that could be repaired free of charge at a dealer under warranty. Great customer service. Thank you!

Absolutely the best Honda and Acura mechanics in the whole Triad area. A great staff of employees that are extremely knowledgeable, polite and professional. I can't say enough nice things about John, Chuck, Jarod, John jr. and the whole complete GT Imports staff. Straightforward honest people and great customer service! Thank you John Teeter for all the nice things you have done and hiring a great staff! Bravo!!!

I would highly recommend this business if you have a Toyota. They repaired my RAV4 fixing a leaking seal that the dealership had twice failed to repair. They also took care of a transmission problem I was having. I now feel confident when driving my car There is no shuddering as my car changes gears. I'm not worried about a breakdown when I am going somewhere. They have earned my business. I would highly recommend them.Service: Transmission

If you have a Toyota or Honda, don't hesitate to go in or give these guys a call! Recently got my timing belt service done, and I was told it would be done by the next morning, but ended up getting it back the same day. Speedy service, and they will recommend what else needs to be serviced but WONT be pushy. Will definitely come back for more work and know that my car is in good hands!Service: Auto maintenance

Other than practically breaking down on the side of the interstate I don't know how I got so lucky to have car problems so close to this place. I was referred to them by the guys at AutoZone. I had my car loaded with all my stuff because I was in the middle of a move and still was two and a half hours from my destination. I was feeling a bit panicked and these guys just made me feel at ease. They understood my situation and immediately looked at my car for me. They showed me to a nice little picnic area in the back so I could try to relax. They quickly diagnosed the problem and got me back on the road in no time. I don't know how to thank them enough other than just writing a good review for them. If I lived in Clemmons they would be my go-to shop. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

GT Imports is a trustworthy local Honda mechanic! Customer service is fantastic and mechanic work is even better for a fair price! They helped me prioritize the work needed done on my van and made it happen. Long time customer. Stopped in after having flat tire on I-40. They were able to get my new tires (I was about due all new anyway) ordered, picked up, balanced & alignment same afternoon. Picked up car at closing time. Very helpful & trustworthy operation. They do not try and sell what you do not need. Searched for best tire for the money. I had heard good things about this shop, and had purchased a used Honda from a private seller who had the car serviced here. We had some repairs we wanted done after we bought the car and wanted to have them done here since they had history and we aren't fans of Flow Honda. Unfortunately after a couple times trying to get in touch with them to schedule the repairs, they told us they wouldn't work on the car because it was too old ('97 Honda Prelude). Apparently they've had issues with older cars being difficult to repair and costing them money. Our car is super clean and had less than 100k miles on it which is unheard of for a 97 Prelude, and we just wanted routine work done that shouldn't have been that difficult.I'm sure they do good work, but it's disappointing to not even have a chance for them to do it, and to have to take it to the big shop in town instead of supporting this one.

Very pleased with the work done to repair warped rotors on our 2012 Honda Pilot. Quick fix and great to work with folks that really know the Honda brand.Very informative and provided good clear recommendations on the necessary repairs. Fair prices. We will continue to use GT Imports for our Pilot.Five more stars:Excellent service and quick turnaround on a big job replacing the timing belt. These are professionals and true Honda experts. Highly recommended for Honda service.Five more stars!Had to have our Pilot towed to GT Imports just before the Christmas weekend. I have been taking my Civic to John and team for many years. I have always felt welcomed. I appreciate the explanation of the repairs and leave feeling my vehicle is safe to drive because of their concern, quality of work and high level of professional knowledge about Honda. I was referred to GT Imports by a friend. I received excellent customer service from Chris and Anthony. Chris explained the issues with my 2005 Honda. The Service Technician has my car running like a new car. The power is amazing and no more clicking noises. I would recommend GT Imports to all owners of Acura, Honda, Lexus, and Toyota for your repairs. You will receive a 3year /3600 mile warranty on the repairs. I will take my business to GT Imports only. Chris and Anthony provided a loaner as my repairs were performed. Upon a local, trustworthy recommendation and welcoming phone call, I am happy to say that I am very impressed with GT Imports. The staff is friendly welcoming and easy to talk to. I am looking forward to working with them to maintain the life and reliabilty of my 2005 CRV. They were happy to talk to me about my concerns and gave me great perspective on the health of my "new" used vehicleand a thorough timeline of maintenance that should be done. I have been at very happy and well taken care of owner of a Honda Accord thanks to discovering GT Imports. Now my Accord is aging a bit; the excellent care provided by the good people at GT Imports has been essential to my peace of mind. Their service representatives always give me a head's up when any incremental service or any item likely soon to need attention is at hand. I am always greeted cordially, by name, and feel a sense of much enhanced attention to my car's service needs. I never have doubt that their work is anything but top notch and recommend GT to any Honda owners I meet. It is a pleasure to sing their praises to one and all - I trust them implicitly. Without a doubt, GT Imports provides the BEST service that I have experienced in my adulthood. GT Imports sets the bar for quality and trusted service, simply the best!

I took my car to GT Imports to have the brakes inspected. While there I requested a diagnostic test be run. After I dropped the car off I remembered that the registration is due this month so I called back to ask them to do an inspection. GT Imports knowing the car had an issue with one of the items on the registration inspection (from running the diagnostic test) still did the inspection and failed it. I am shocked at the lack of integrity! I truly do not know how anyone would do this to someone. Blows my mind, but I guess there are people lacking good character willing to do unjust things to make a few dollars. Sad, really. It was an easy way to take advantage of a repeat customer to make $23. On a side note, that was $10 more than I have ever spent for an inspection. That is on me; I should have asked, but I had two other cars at two different places over the last couple weeks inspected so I assumed the price was the same everywhere for a state inspection. Why would you take advantage of a customer and do the inspection when you already know from the diagnostic test (that the customer paid you to run) would have an item on it that would cause the car to fail inspection? When I spoke to John he argued for a bit, but then said he guesses you can't please everyone. You definitely can't please everyone, but you can choose to make the morally right decision and do the right thing by everyone. That is a choice. GT Imports has lost our trust and our friends trust.

John has built a truly wonderful service center and staffed it with honest hard working certified service techs. I explained what we noticed out 2007 Honda Fit was doing, the sounds it was making, and the steps I had taken to try fixing the issues. Jarrod was the tech I spoke with directly and he was very professional. After the work was done I was contacted to come pick up the Fit and both John and Jarrod review the service process and the work that had been performed with me. We just got a 2013 Honda Civic and I will be taking it to GT Imports to do an inspection and perform any repair that needs to be done. Bottom line, this is a great shop!!

Once again very satisfied with GT Imports. I went in for service last week. Ran into a little snag with some parts but Chuck went above and beyond to take care of it. I will continue to bring both of my Hondas here because of the excellent service, reasonable prices, and high quality of work. Anyone who takes their Honda anywhere else is missing out!

Great shop with great values. Extremely low turnover, so I have worked with the same people up front for over 5 years. They know my car and know my family, therefore they make sure my car is in great working condition. GT also does a great job of explaining what repairs should be completed asap, what repairs can wait a few months and when an item is just beginning to show some wear and tear. I never feel like I am being taking advantage of. I continue to recommend Honda/Acura owners to them.

My family takes all our Hondas and Acuras to GT, and we've had a bunch of those over the last two decades. Service is fast, friendly, and always done right. They appreciate their customers by offering specials and discount coupons via postal mail and on their website. They'll work with you on making a courtesy car available if you need one. We've had a wide range of major and minor services done at GT, from state inspections to major brake work, oil changes and rear spoiler installations. They do it all at affordable, competitive pricing. Just a great group of guys there at GT!

Took my 2012 Civic Si to get my timing chain done and a few other things. Anthony was a very friendly straight up guy and even accommodated me by putting me in a loaner car at no charge. These guys did a phenomenal job and had it knocked out in no time. They will definitely be getting my business in the future and will be vouching for them to all my friends and family that owns Hondas, Acuras, and Toyota's. I can definitely see why they have the reputation they have now. Even done extra things without me asking them to just because they were there anyway and had the parts in stock. Took my Honda Accord to have a axle replace and a power steering o-ring. They have exceptional customer service and are not pushy on items that you don t need. They let you know what the manufacture recommends and let you make the decision if you want to do it or not. They only use the cars manufactured parts which I like. You will not find auto zone or Napa auto parts here. They offer an excellent warranty with their works also. I will continue to utilize their services for years to come! Thank you John for your patience, your compassion, your professionalism, and your excellence!!I have known these guys and been a customer since the 1980 s even before they were their own business. Good, reliable, trustworthy service is hard to find. From my first car, a 1984 Civic to my 1991 Legend L, to my 2015 RLX, to my current 2019 Si, they ve taken care of me. We ve grown up together! I ve bought and sold cars with them , and they advise and evaluated my used car decisions. Though I wish for a quick in and out oil change/inspection service selection, I ve always been able to get a loaner if requested. In the rare occasion that we didn t see eye to eye, John had always provided a listening ear and a fair solution. I see these guys as my family. The service is not cheap, but where else can u go that looks for opportunities to save u money and will tell u the truth? Sometimes it s not what u want to hear. Once, with my 1991 Legend, at 340,000 miles, a car I loved and still miss to this day, John pulled me aside and said, hey, I know u love this, but y don t u take the $2,000 it wd take to fix this car and get something newer? It s getting harder to find parts for this car and I can t guarantee that u won t experience another big failure after u fix this problem. I took his advice and bought a brand new Accord Touring that I loved even more! On top of that, he took the car off my hands to offset the diagnostic costs! I cd go on and on. They are now serving my sons who were babies when I started with these guys. To all the guys as well as the staff behind the scenes, thank u for a lifetime of great service. I've been a proud, loyal customer of GT Imports for 4 years. Every time I visit, I can count on excellent service, friendly people, and straightforward, honest pricing. From periodic service, extended maintenance, and even larger issues, I've always been impressed with the quality of the work, and the skill of the techs. I would not trust my 96 Accord, 07 Civic, and 08 CRV to anyone else!

G.T is a very honest company. They always do a great job explaining which issues are most important and help us understand what needs to take priority. We trust them 100% when it comes to the continued maintenance of our Honda.We feel safe knowing that they are always looking out for us. With the scheduled oil changes we know that we are getting a lot more than just an oil change - they check the fluid levels, tire pressure etc. We have peace of mind knowing that they are taking care of things!G.T employs people with great expertise. They solved a major, and complex alignment problem for us. Thanks to G.T we now get better gas mileage and a smoother ride.If you own a Honda or Acura we highly recommend G.T. They are an honest company with outstanding service and top-notch expertise.

I took my 2012 Honda Pilot in to have my oil changed and the technician found that my ball joint on my tire was dangerously loose. Thank the lord. They sent me 2 videos of the issue , which I greatly appreciate. Some places just tell you there is something wrong and don't show you. When I went to pick my car up John took me to show me the piece they replaced and how loose it was. Also the technician came over and explained to me how dangerous it was to have it that loose and what would have happened. GT Imports is very professional and thorough! When my four offspring and I lived in NC, GT Imports was the place to go for all our Honda repairs. John Teeter and his wife and the helpful GT staff embody both Integrity and Expertise. Years after I moved away, GT Imports remains the benchmark by which I measure all other car repair services. Only one even comes close. (Blue Motors in Sun City, California is awesome). There's something incredibly special about GT. It cannot be defined in words, but must be experienced firsthand. Don't miss the opportunity to meet and do business with some of the best people in the world. The quality of work exceeds expectations. But the personal touch you'll find there is what makes GT much more than just a place to do business. It's a place where you'll make friends for a lifetime. It's hard to find such great service, anywhere. GT deserves a thousand star rating.
