My Mom and brother attempted to exchange a battery that was bulging due to a damaged cell in the battery(also due to gas expanding in the case). They refused to exchange the battery, and tried arguing(and getting loud with them about it). I wished I would have been there to explain how customer service works, and apparently charging systems work. I have worked at a car care center for many years and we would have never let someone leave with this battery, even if it tested as a good battery. I initially warned them not to buy a battery from them, but do to time constraints(needed it on a Sunday) they had no choice. This is why you need trained employees. I could tell many more horror stories from Walmart car care centers, but I'll refrain. My neighbor who manages a Firestone just laughed when I told him. That's why most people refer to there batteries as Neverstart batteries. Once again learn your job, or don't do it.There are classes you can send your gs techs and management to. If safety is not your main concern, then just stick to cheap oil changes. Just don't forget those drain plugs, and to remember to add oil back in after draining. In case you didn't get that reference, that means I've seen you guy's do that multiple times as well.

This place use to be great for years. Now the management is absolutely a joke. They don t answer the phone, it s dirty in the waiting room and the music is so loud that drives people crazy. They have no answer for nothing. Fire everyone and start over with serious and professional people. A dern shame !!!

Worst experience ever. I had a 7am appointment to get my tires changed. The garage wasn t even open till 7:10am. THEN the guy worked on someone else s car (a Walmart employee) before mine. I m sure he didn t have an appointment. He was very rude and unprofessional. He told me it would be 45 minutes.I literally scheduled a 7am appointment because you all said you could have me out of there by 7:55am. Lie. It s not my fault you re short staffed. It s your duty to act like you want to be there, start work on time, and adhere to time promises. People have jobs and schedule things accordingly. Because of you all, I was an hour late for work. Please don t send me an email stating you ll only hold my appointment slot for 15 minutes if you re not going to honor the appointment I made anyway and work on your buddy s car first. Outrageous. Also there is no ac in the waiting area which is unacceptable

Worst experience ever and not even close. I don't give them zero stars because it is not possible. Otherwise, I would.Came into the sho looking 4 tires for my car, service person showed me two options on store available so picked them up and he said I would wait around 2 - 21/2 hours. They made wait for 4 hours and just after that same person who attended me first called me outside to avoid others hearing that someone took my selected tires and put them on another car and no more tires were available anymore for the day. Woooo. I know it's Walmart but these look don't know what they are doing.

They had me in and out in 45 minutes for a new set of tires mounted and balanced. Service desk could have been a little bit more tactful

Said oil plug was stripped. They're the only one who have changed oil on my truck since new. Said they sucked oil out with machine. Got home checked oil. Still dirty and oil filter looked old. Not going to argue with them. Just not going back. Do not recommend to anyone unless you want to be ripped off.Service: Auto maintenanceService: Auto maintenance

I arrived yesterday at 5:35pm to pickup tires and get them installed. I greatly appreciate their help even though it caused them to stay late. Despite the bit of attitude by the man, regardless he got me done!I needed my tires changed big time, one was leaking air the other had a nail in it both on the passenger side.

My wife came in and bought me new tires. They removed the sensors that tell if the tire pressure is low . They told my wife that they would have to take the sensors off to install new tires for that day , and she agreed not knowing that it would mess the sensors up. They put my tire sensors back on and it took more than three hours. Then rethreaded one of them. Saying it needed it to remove the valve stem. After all that time I was like finally my truck is back to normal with this issue. No after all that now one of the tire sensors had a low battery. They worked fine before I got the tires. He then said I had to replace the battery on the tire sensor on back passenger side. I called the he said I had to replace the whole tire sensor. Now they blame my wife for giving permission. She should have not had the option for that decision considered the sensors are $79 a piece. I wish I hadn't worked the day she bought the tires. I would of not agreed this. My wife was just trying to do something nice ,because I didn't have the time to get it done , because of work. I feel a professional would of not made the decision to risk damaging the tire sensors if they had an issue with removing the valve stems . Instead they put the option in my wife's hands , and that was not a good decision on their part. Since they knew the sensors could be a problem once removed. I had a Toyota dealership tell me they shouldn't of removed the complete tire sensors off my vehicle. The stems unscrew. If they had a problem with the stems knowing how expensive it is to replace the complete sensors. Why risk it? I am very disappointed with the service for allowing somebody inexperienced in this stuff , my wife to agree.

The worse place to ever go to for anything! The "mechanics" have no idea what they're doing. They charged $92 to put on 4 tires and took almost 2 hours to do it. Then they overtightened the lugnuts which warped my rotors so badly that the entire vehicle shakes uncontrollably every time I put my foot on the brakes. it's not safe to drive in at all and when confronted about it, the rude service manager says "park it and rent a car!" The utter nerve. And When we complained, they took no responsibility and gave us the runaround for over a week! Their employees are rude, arrogant and completely devoid of any customer service training whatsoever. I should have expected as much now reading the horrible reviews! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Went with my husband and my one year old son to get new tires. We specifically asked how long this may possibly take because if it was going to be awhile we would just go another time when we didn't have our son there. The employee we were dealing with, Dustin, said 30 minutes to an hour max. We were okay with that and headed in to get groceries. Came back to tire center to pick our car up after it had been OVER an hour and Dustin tells us it will be another 30 minutes. We asked why and he said they lost someone's keys and it took all their mechanics to stop working to find them. I was a little annoyed seeing we have frozen and refrigerated food in the cart. They have a small refrigerator in the waiting room that we manage to cram most of what we bought in. We wait and wait and wait until another hour goes by. Watching out the window a few times and different mechanics huddled together looking at something on a cellphone, or just casually wandering around like a stroll in the park. Dustin finally packs his stuff and leaves for the day without so much as a sorry, or have a nice day. Finally a manager comes in, (A tall black man, unsure of his name), who seems to have more control over the situation. I speak with him and he speaks to the mechanics, comes back and tells me 10 more minutes and that's about how long it took, still not apologetic whatsoever. Me and my family arent the type to yell and make a scene. My husband and I both work retail so we understand....but I felt like no one gave a damn that we were sitting there with a restless one year old and $200 worth of groceries for hours on end. I dont typically expect prime customer service from Walmart but this was on another level of bad service.

Tried to get new tires here 3 times in the last few weeks. Everytime I go they have an excuse for not being able to. The first time they didnt have enough employees, only one employee who asked me to wait a few minutes for more people to show up. I waited 30 mins and I was the second person there when they opened. They finally came to me and said it would take 3 hours. Not waiting that long, that's ridiculous. The second time I went at 1 o'clock on a Satuday and they told me they were closing at 2 so they couldn't. I went today and they said the same thing. Its 2:00 now, auto center isn't supposed to close until 7 and they just told me they are closing at 4 and wouldn't do it. Time to give up and find somewhere else.

Needed a puncture repair ASAP and they took care of me. From setting up the appointment, getting me in right away, and in just enough time to pop into the main store for a few groceries. Pretty darn good techs and associates who know what they're doing.

I bought new tires in 2019. Just found out that the tires they put on were manufactured in 2016! Only put a little over 30,000 miles on these tires that are supposed to go for 70,000 and I am now replacing them. I will never buy tires from Walmart again!

I can't say enough great things about the folks at Walmart auto center! They are always kind, and very thorough in explaining about their services and tires. All of our vehicles go here for tires, and whenever we've had a nail or something in one of the tires, they have taken care of it right away! I highly recommend them!

RUDE RUDE RUDE, when employee finally came back to help I was asked what you want should have left then. Very shot and rude with my son and I. To top it all off there not even installing tires at this moment. What a waste of time. Walmart will not be getting my $ for tires, we will go elsewhere!

Had a slow leak in one of my tires and was told that where the tire was punctured, they were not allowed to patch or repair it and i would have to purchase a tire. Once I saw where the puncture was, I went into the store and bought myself the fix it yourself kit which costed $2.89 and fixed it in myself in about 5 minutes.

Even though they were understaffed, they got my tires and oil changed in less than an hour! Very impressed. They were also extreamly friendly and jovial!

Got an oil change, 4 days later I was replacing a headlight when I noticed my oil cap was missing. Luckily they held on to it. I had to drive 15 min to go pick it up. Before that I got an oil change in my wife's car. A month later I noticed the oil light on. I checked to find it almost dry. I suspected a problem with the car burning oil or a posable leak even though there was no oil spots in my garage. I put more oil in the car and it never happened again. I have no proof but I think they didn't put any oil or enough back in.

Worst customer service in the state. Pulled up and was totally ignored. Guess I got there when the 4 employees where on break (even though all were standing in the bay with no cars present). Not the first time I've had poor service at this Walmart tire and lube department but it will certainly be my last. My money and business will go else where.

I have to agree with Phil...terrible customer service. I had a synthetic oil change done on my 2003 Toyota Land Cruiser last night. I specifically asked the manager on duty to be sure they lubricated the chassis. He responded that their lubricating equipment was broken and that it had been broken since he'd been with this Walmart...2 to 3 years. What?!? Furthermore, he said no one had ever requested a chassis lube since he'd been there. What?!?First of all, a customer should not have to REQUEST a chassis lube. It's supposed to be part of the oil change service...just like at Jiffy Lube. Granted, a lot of cars nowadays don't require chassis lubes because they have sealed joints. However, a lot of trucks and SUVs still have grease fittings on the tie rods and drive shafts. Therefore, those vehicles that have such fittings should be getting lube jobs along with their oil changes. This Walmart has apparently been short changing its customers for the last 2 to 3 years!!!It gets better though. When I suggested to the manager that he do the lube job the old fashioned way...just get a grease gun off the shelf and some grease...Nate responded that he would have to charge me for the grease gun and the grease if he did that!?! What?!? I later called the store, spoke to Sally and asked to speak with the store manager. Sally put me on hold and I sat there for about 15 minutes before hanging up.I called back again at 5:15 pm and asked Sally who the store manager was. She said JJ, but he's gone for the day so she put Asst Manager Luray on. I explained the whole situation to Luray and she said this was the first that she'd heard the automotive lubrication equipment was broken. She was going to refer me to the automotive department manager, but found out he had already left for the day so she said she was going to get in touch with the store manager (JJ) and ask him to give me a call. I'm still waiting for that call.Might be time for Walmart to do a little house cleaning at this particular store.

Most employees are friendly. Some are dumber than a rock. Had tires put on my care & when they got done it was pouring buckets & parked my way out in left field. So I had to walk a ways in the downpour ( not that it would kill me to walk but really). I was right there when the guy got done w/ my care.
