I called Skip after having trouble with our GMC Yukon transmission and it needing a new one. Skip and Billy with Pro Transmission did an amazing job getting me back on the road within a week!! Very reasonable and answered all calls and questions. Would definitely refer anyone with transmission problems to go see them! They will not disappoint! - Thanks a lot for your services! I had an excellent experience using Pro Transmission LLC. I needed a transmission rebuild for a 6.7 Cummins. I was quoted a price and timely service. Communications were spot on. This is a quality shop with years of knowledge that went above and beyond to rebuild my transmission. I would not hesitate to send anyone to them for transmission related work.

Don't waste time with them. Dropped car off at end of Dec 2022. Gave a deposit for work. Now Mar 6th, three months later, and work is not complete. They stopped responding to calls and texts. After three months I still don't have a working car and looks like I'll have to go to small claims to get my deposit back.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Amazing shop and great work. So far they're the only people that has rebuilt my 700 R4 the correct way. I've had it rebuilt five times and no one ever got it right. Twice by Donnie wheeler in Fayetteville and he never got it right. My truck drives amazing and shifts hard and has never driven so good. I'm running a 6 inch lift on top of the 3 inch body with 35 inch tires and 4:56 gears so don't let anyone tell you that a 700 R4 is not designed for this because that's what happened at Donnie wheeler. That's where Pro transmission comes in because they have far more experienced than most others who build everything whereas Pro transmission specializes in 700R4. Even Whenever there was a slight adjustment problem I took my check back the very next day and after a couple of hours he had to squirt away. And it was just a minor adjustment. Warranty is awesome and professionalism is great. Would recommend to any and everyone and their now my new transmission shop. Beware of Johnny love in the Robeson County area with J&J Transmissions. He does not know what he is doing and is very lost. If you have customize your vehicle in any way don't waste your time taking it to Donnie wheeler of Fayetteville.

Couldn't have been happier with this shop! The guys there are friendly and helpful. I had a cracked head gasket on my G35 and they got my car running again and better than it was before. A trustworthy and reasonably priced shop, one of the only places I feel comfortable taking my car.

Back yard shop. Not even Profesional at all. Demanded half up front for a full rebiuld. Ford e40d.trans. took 3 weeks to get back. And never qork rt whent 50 miles and trans qhent out again. They said to take it to another shop to get looked at. Because they are to busy and would honor warranty. Once the other shop looked at it and said it would need a complete rebiuld again due to metal and clutch fibers in the oil and pan. Pro transmission then said warranty is now voided due to another shop looking at it. They are some crookedpeople. Will not even answere calls or return calls. I do have all the text messages to prove the conversations.Service: Transmission

Billy has got to be the most honest and fair mechanic I've had the pleasure of dealing with. He really knows transmissions and he has proven it each time I show up. He gave me a really good price to rebuild my transmission on my problematic 2007 Chevy Z71, and he stands behind his work. He has even helped me on a problem that fell beyond my warranty. Need I say more!!!!

Took 2 weeks to retrieve the transmission out of the RV (parked at my address) and re-installed 31 Dec. Runs good but after a short drive to the inspection station ( 9 miles away) the code P0894 registered. I informed Billy about the problem & he promised to look at it. He finally showed up after over 3 weeks of messaging back & forth. He told me that he will replace the output/input sensors. It's now 2 March 2020 & he has not showed up. Not even a short notice. The 2-year warranty he gave me is worthless. I ordered the sensors from Amazon, installed them myself and hopefully the problem is corrected. I will not recommend this shop.

My Husband Thornton was EXTREMELY pleased with Pro Transmission in Clayton NC!!!!Billy and Skip were very professional, trustworthy, dependable and polite to work with. They went above and beyond the call of duty! They are very knowledgeable of transmissions and back their work as well as their word. We definitely recommend this shop for any of your transmission needs!

Honestly i would recommend pro transmission to anyone the 4l60e they rebuilt shifts like a dream 700miles of quick and firm shifts. Billy has rebuilt a 2003 Suburban transmission and a Ford E350 RV transmission for me at a fair price. Both transmission's shift better than when new! Would not hesitate to take any vehicle or transmission to him! Thanks! Highly recommended!

I have a 2001 chevy suburban that's lifted sitting on 38s I have went through a FEW transmissions spending as much as $2400 for a single one but none held up! The guys at pro transmission were extremely knowledgeable about common fail points and they were able to build a custom transmission to hold up the truck! Not only did I save almost a $1000 but I hav a transmission that is amazing I haven't had a trans in my truck this nice feeling in 8 years! Hands down great ppl to do business with that produce a great product with a better warranty then any other shop has offered! Thanks again to the guys at pro transmission! Need a transmission billy is the guy!

Have a 2001 silverado with 190K miles Transmission started slipping called Billy and he said bring it on by , I dropped it off ,later that day he called me and said yep she's slipping in 3 to 4 shift and it's gonna need a rebuilt . I told him I wanted it done right and his comment was thats the only way he will do one . Needless to say a few days later I picked her up and was very pleased with how it ran . Straight up honest guys here and they know exactly what they are doing , since then I have brought more business to him and I will refer him to anyone that has any transmission issue . If you go somewhere else it's a mistake , if your looking transmission work this is the place to go.
