Had an outstanding experience with Matthews Motors! Coming from out of state to buy my 2022 Ram 2500, they were very upfront about everything including the price and made the deal super easy. Alex was personable and extremely helpful with everything I had to do! Would highly recommend!

From the first time stopping in, to signing the final document, Matthews Motors has been an awesome company to work with. Especially Uriel. I would suggest anyone looking for a low mileage, good looking, and reliable vehicle to stop by and check out their inventory. You won t be disappointed. Ask for Ali! Always the best service. I won't buy a used vehicle anywhere else. I had a nice SUV i bought here a few year ago, (Transmission failed, they replaced under their lifetime warranty no questions asked!!) went in to the dealership and told them honestly what I was looking for, cheaper car payment, better mileage, and newer more reliable vehicle. Everyone was honest and informational. They showed me many vehicles and pros and cons of both. No pressure, no hassle, great trade in value. I will be back to buy my 3rd vehicle from them. Ask for Ali, he is honest and a great guy.....you wont be disappointed!

We had a wonderful experience at Matthew Motors. We were running late for our appointment as we came from out of town and messaged several times as our eta kept changing and they were courteous and understanding. When we got there we were pleasantly greeted by both Ali and Keith. The wife and I, had our 18 year old daughter, 5 year old daughter, and dog in tow. We were looking at a very specific car, a red Lexus LC500 and had no plans to buy but to evacuate and compare to a similar car at another dealership. They were extremely accommodating including putting the car on the lift for us to inspect the under carriage. The car was in immaculate condition and we quickly came to an agreed price. They cordially invited the dog and the family to come inside and get comfortable. We had limited time, so I indicated this had to be quick and it was. Ali was quick but through with all the paperwork and even watched our 5 year old for a short time when our older daughter went to the restroom while we were signing final paperwork in the finance office. The experience was pleasant, fast, and painless and we were able to drive a beautiful car back home to Virginia. The 18 year old was so excited as she got to drive with me back home.I waited to write this review, I normally do not write reviews, as they only had one key fob and indicated they would locate and mail the second assuming they had another. Received a call yesterday from Ali and a second key fob in Fedex package today. That is customer service and I would recommend Matthew Motors to anyone based on our experience.

The staff are wonderful. I was concerned due to multiple service lights on my Honda CRV. They completed my oil change and checked everything and I walked out within an hour and was only charged for the oil change. They showed me what all the lights meant and the areas they checked. They easily could have sold me services I didn t need, but they were honest. They even ran my VIN number to check if there were recalls the Honda Dealer would need to address. I will definitely be back for any ongoing maintenance and repairs. Highly recommend Matthews Motors!

First let me say that this was the best car buying experience I've ever had ! Everyone there made me feel welcomed. Almost s if I worked there ! Second Brandon and Kim were Terrific! They really took care of me and were up front and honest, not something you find in many dealerships. Last Matthews has an inventory that you can trust. All of their vehicles are top quality, no lemons. Anyone looking for a new car, Matthews should be your next and last stop. Thanks guys for everything !!!Darrell Millard

So happy with my experience with them! I purchased my car November of last year and it has been great. I waited to do my review because I wanted to make sure I was fully satisfied before doing this review and I m gonna say I have no complaints. Caleb worked with me in and out and was very patient. It took me about six months to finally purchase and could not be more happy with my decision

I was told by the salesman that the car I was test driving had the kind of muffler that made it louder and when I heard it, I believed the story. They even used the inspection they performed to let me transfer my license from my old car onto the new car. It said the exhaust system was passed. I thought they were being so thoughtful. Fast forward to this year when I need to get the car inspected to get new registration stickers. Imagine my surprise when I was told that my car failed inspection because there was no muffler on the car. I couldn't believe it. I can't afford extra work on a car that I bought with good trust (never again!) I wondered why the salesman was so adamant that I would have the car that night. I also had a tire sensor gauge that kept going off within two weeks. Emailed and texted asking for it to be fixed- no response. IF you decide to buy from them, I would take it to another mechanic and have it looked at first. Customer service looks great on the front end, but not after the papers are signed.

Great customer service! Everyone there was super nice and accommodating. Felt like my car was in very good hands. Brought a used car a was considering buying there for an inspection and they gave me a very in depth understanding of all the work that would need done on it so I could make an informed decision. Would definitely come back!

Matthew Motors has the friendliest, most professional staff. Brandon walked me through their car buying process with care and he answered every question I had. I feel like the service technician was more of a sales person rather than consulting me on my vehicle. He stated they couldn t perform my inspection because it would not pass; I had my car inspected after I left Matthews at a different place and it passed. This really concerned me about Matthew s credibility and if I would be returning for any future servicing on my car. Also, the work they did perform was satisfactory, however the technician ruined my nice floor mat, grease and soiled from him getting in and out of the car while servicing. Why would you not put a paper mat down like most places do.Not impressed with my overall experience this time. Will not be using them in the future.

First time at this location. They were courteous, professional and fast. Originally was supposed to get an alignment, oil change and inspection. They opted to not do the alignment due to the wear and tear on my wheels and said I should wait until I replace. Did not due inspection since I am in the process of replacing breaks. So they just completed oil change. I appreciate the fact that they did not do and charge me for services that did not make sense at the time. The only reason I did not give them a 5 is because they did not fully close my hood and I had to pull over in mid travel to shut before it flew open.

The sales team at Matthews motors were exceptional. Keith, the manager, was pretty involved from the beginning. They were very understanding to my needs and accommodating to my situation. I felt no pressure, I test drove a couple cars, before settling on one.Very happy with this car and transaction. I will recommend Matthew motors to anyone looking for a car.

While visiting the Clayton area, I had an unexpected problem with my car. My friend, a resident of Clayton, recommended Matthew Motors. Upon my arrival I was greeted by a friendly representative. The issue with my car was promptly taken care for a very fair fee. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this establishment.

So happy I decided to give Matthew motors a call on a whim when I wanted to quickly get my inspection and oil change. They got me right in, and got my car done in a timely manner, no fuss, right price.I also want to point out that the employees here are awesome...maybe it was bc it was Friday and the sun was shining...but everyone was so friendly, seemed happy with their job, and treated everyone with kindness and respect. It was really refreshing, and as a new resident of Clayton I'm glad I found these folks.

Thank you Ali and Ken for making my car buying experience at Matthews Motors Clayton so great. As soon as I arrived and got out of my car, Ali the car salesman already was greeting me at the door. He was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and worked quickly. Ken also worked very quick (which I appreciated) and handled and explained all of the paperwork to me before I signed any thing. He was very professional and friendly. They have a wide variety of used cars to select from. I highly recommend anyone looking for a car to go to them.

There s a lot of 5 star reviews of this place and I wish I could ve had the same experience. Me and my father went in to buy a car and in the process we traded in a car. They ran a scan through it only saw it had a misfire and still accepted the trade in the without fully inspecting it and let me buy a new car off their lot. Fast forward 3 days later they tell me the cars gonna need a new engine it turns out so they want me to either pay them for the new engine or bring back the car we bought from them. I have never ever heard of a dealer doing that. When I told them no because that didn t seem right they threatened us with committing a straw purchase. Next day they call me saying the bank can t fund the deal anymore and I have 24 hours to bring back the car or they re reporting it stolen. The bank never canceled the deal the dealer called them to cancel it. Get your trade ins inspected before you take it to them or go somewhere else because if not you ll end up in the same situation as me.

We are very pleased with our experience. Raul was very helpful and was available throughout the process. The finance manager was very nice and worked fast to not keep us in the dealership all day. Would recommend them to others easily.

From buying my first vehicle to getting serviced and my annual inspection, the service team has been so sweet and inviting. The staff behind the desk are accommodating and personable and explain complicated car issues I can understand. I'm super socially awkward and I never feel intimidated.I just did my annual inspection, and of course I passed because I get my service there and they take good care of my van.And I love how they update their surroundings! The new service area look so great, im happy for them lol

Had my rear wheel lock up just a mile from Matthew's. They put me in contact with a tow company who picked me up in 20 minutes brought me to Matthew's who in turn diagnosed and fixed my issue within 24 hrs. All while being courteous. Shout out to Miguel in service for his diligence and hard work.
