Patrick, Dana, Tho & team are top notch!! Brought my car in for a coolant leak and quickly they identified I needed a new water pump and thermostat. Day after picking my car up the check engine light came on again and brought it back for them to inspect. They were able to fix the secondary issue with no additional cost all while assuring me everything should be good when they completed. A few days later I got a courtesy phone call from Patrick the manager just checking in to see if the light came back on, etc. In my opinion that s the definition of personal touch and customer care. Well done Woodie s team, you ve got a new referral source in me.

This auto repair shop was amazing. I had called around trying to get quotes for changing my battery since it required a technician to do it. All the other places wouldn t quote me or would give me an astronomical amount for the type of job. Woodie s gave me a fair price and went above and beyond to squeeze me in at last minute. Within 45 mins they had my car ready to go. This team was professional and good at their job. Highly recommend them.

I was disappointed with the service received by Woodies. I dropped my car off on Monday morning, I received no communication from them regarding when my car would be ready and what was wrong with it. I had to keep calling to get updates. We didn t receive our car back until Tuesday the next day (a very simple fix that could have been done in a few hours) and again, they didn t even call us when it was ready.After leaving and not even driving 10 miles, the same problem happened again. We were then told it would be a $740 fix. I took the car to another mechanic for a quote for the same work and was quoted $400 LESS.I found the people working the front desk incredibly rude. Overall, I recommend taking your business else where or at the very least getting a second quote.EDIT - after the car being reviewed by another mechanic, it didn t need the work we were told it did. Waste of time and money. Changed to 1 star. Go elsewhere.

Woodie's Auto Service is my go to auto shop for my 2020 Hybrid RAV4. As a single female with limited knowledge about cars, I have been screwed over by the service department at several Toyota dealerships. I was relieved to find a place where I can trust I'm not being taken advantage of. The staff are always friendly and talk me through the recommended maintenance before doing the work and never pressure me to agree to all the recommendations. They also have an amazing complimentary shuttle service that will do pick-up and drop-offs from your home (within reason) so you don't have to sit there all day or pay for a ride share. 10/10 recommend.

I m pretty disappointed in my most recent experience at Woodie s. They blatantly lied, in an attempt to charge more money, saying my oil had not been changed. When I declined their offer to change it, seeing as I had already paid the dealership 3 weeks prior and needed to go back there, they claimed they changed it for free. Clearly the dealership just forgot to turn the alert off on my car and Woodie s didn t want to get caught lying. It s extremely frustrating when you do what you can to support local businesses and they try to scam you. And for what $75-$90? I ll never go back to another Woodie s.

I took my car in for the same service I've had in the past and they put in full synthetic oil and charged my $9.95 per quart of oil, the last oil change the oil cost $4.95 per quart for blended synthetic oil. They never called to let me know the air filter needed to be changed. In the past I would get a phone call to see if I wanted it replaced before they closed the hood. I feel like they just want me to reschedule so I have to pay labor costs again. It should take a couple minutes to replace an air filter and should be done at the same time the oil is being changed instead of having to go back. I felt totally ripped off. An oil change, tires rotated and an inspection cost my $177.00. The last time I was in it was $89.00 which didn't include an inspection so basically I paid $50 more this time for an oil change, ridiculous.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

Dropped my car off at night. because battery was dead, so jumped it and got it there so it would be there first thing in morning. Heard from Woodies in the morning and they said it was on the schedule to be looked at that morning, mind you, I didn't have an appointment. They called back around 10:00 to say it needed a new battery and had it replaced by noon, ready for pickup! Great service!

Great service and as important, trustworthy. There have been multiple examples where they could have charged me more than they did, but they chose to be generous towards me as a repeat customer. My son took his jeep there, they did a diagnostic test, told him it would cost $1800 for the repairs, my son decline in allowing them to do the repairs. By the time my son drove a couple of blocks, his jeep pouting had worsen from what it was before and once he got home, his dad checked the car out and found they had unplug plugs from the motor, hoping he would return back to them for the services.

Friendly staff gave thorough explanations of all the maintenance required. Mechanic sent pictures of my car, and clearly explained what needed to be repaired and what was normal. Left car in the shop for three days only for them to determine on the third day they could not fix the issue (fixing the trailer hitch light cables - should have been simple to diagnose quickly and decide if they could help or not). Had to keep following up with them to see when we could pick it up. Returned the car to us with the back of the car completely torn up - they didn t even try to put anything back in place before we picked it up. We usually take our cars to a different Woodies in town and get outstanding service - we will not be coming back to this one again.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR INSPECTION!!!! I took my car in for new brakes and rotors and was overcharged about $200 for them. Additionally, they failed my inspection because of a bad tire so then I had the tires replaced and brought them back a week later and it was then failed again. They told me that I should buy two new tires for a whopping $500. However my tires were completely fine and were passed easily at a nearby inspection place. All Woodie s does is overcharge and try to sell you more and more things like tires when you don t even need them. This city has too many auto shops for Woodie s to continue to be successful using shady business tactics.Service: General repairs & maintenance

5 stars isn t nearly enough for this place. Getting a flat tire sucks. It definitely derailed my day. These guys literally went above and beyond to get me back on the road. My tire isn t a size you can just walk in and buy. I found the tire in Matthews (next town over). They actually drove me (in their personal vehicle) to inspect the tire, pick it up, and installed it for me. I got a chance to have some great conversations with Dana. What a high quality human being. Not only is he super knowledgeable and helpful - you will immediately get the vibe that he finds real genuine joy out of being at your service and getting you back on the road. One of the best buying experiences I ve had in a very long time. I highly recommend these guys.Service: Tires

Great service and transparent on work. I took my truck here first then immediately took my wife s car in. They have this awesome reporting feature where they give pictures, details, and criticality info of issues they find.Dana up front was great to work with and highly recommend this shop to anyone.

If you are a women AVOID. I asked for an inspection and oil change, ultimately came out to 85 dollars. They recommended all these different things, nothing wrong with recommendations. The issue is, these recommendations came out to just over $1000. I asked how much it is if they were to remove the wiper blade replacement, cabin air filter change and another filter change they came back with $500. For those that may not now, these kinds of replacements take a child with a YouTube and 10 minutes to complete. When I went in, they tried to get me to pay an extra 30 dollars on top of the 84 for a safety inspection because when I went in and asked for an inspection and an oil change, for some reason they thought that meant only the oil change. This doesn t add up, look up their BBB complaints. They have a history of being misogynistic. Be ashamed of yourself.

I had a great experience with this location! The customer service is excellent, pricing is upfront, and the service guys are knowledgeable and quick. I appreciated the quick turnaround for a few different issues my older Hyundai had. They also offer a shuttle service so you don t have to pay for an Uber while your car is in repair. I HIGHLY recommend this location!

I brought my car in for a diagnostic to see if they could determine the cause for a whirring noise that I recently started hearing. The service manager, Jeff, was very communicative and helped to make sure I was satisfied with the service I received. I was treated well and fairly. This place is awesome. Honest. Pricing is fair and upfront. They send you a report that contains pictures and a summary of all items that could be considered for repair. If you don't want to inconvenience anyone they have a shuttle service that will take you to and from home/work. No one likes car repairs but if you're looking for an honest shop with great customer service you have found your home.

Awesome experience! I called in the day of for a drop-off appointment ahead of the storm since it was in a very convenient location within walking distance from work and would eliminate the need for my usual plan to take it to all the way to the dealership for service. Even though it was last minute, they were willing to fit me in and had my car ready before I left work. Jeff was very knowledgeable and helpful with everything, and gave me some helpful tips. The communication was fantastic, and I didn't feel pressured into purchasing anything that I didn't immediately need. I loved the fact that I could easily see what work needed to be done from my phone. I will definitely be back for future service!

I went to Woodie's for a second opinion after feeling like another car repair place was trying to pull a fast one on me. I'm so glad I went! I spoke with Patrick on the phone about my issue, and thankfully, he was able to quickly find me a time slot. The staff was thorough, competent, and most importantly, honest. Turns out one of the repairs suggested to me from the first repair shop wasn't even needed. Integrity is rare these days, especially when it comes to car repairs, but these guys nailed it. I got new tires 5 months ago and the pressure was low in one of the new tires. The earliest appointment I could get to address this issue was 1 week from today!!!!! They don t support the work they do in a timely fashion!!! You are better off going elsewhere.Service: TiresService: Tires

My radiator was leaking profusely, and my car was not drivable. Jeff at the front was so courteous and wasn't impatient with my questions. I love the fact that my repairs come with a 3 year warranty, and with my car being older, I find a lot of value in their service. Just because you dropped your car the night before, that doesn t mean anything. They still won t get it in the shop until after lunch. The service writers DO NOT call you to give you any information. You have to call them, even at 5:00 when you are waiting to hear if you car is ready. It seems to be the Charlottetown location only. The work performed is good, the price is retail+ and service writes communication poor.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair

Called them with no warning, needed 4 new tires and 2 new brakes. They got everything done same day, and were great with coordinating a shuttle to get me to work. Price was reasonable, and the suggested work matched up with a recent inspection I d had done (that I didn t tell them about).
