Tuffy truly goes above and beyond when delivering great customer service. I was able to drop my vehicle off before the shop opened and my keys were secured in a lock box. I had to go out of town for the holiday weekend and they stored my vehicle in one of the bays overnight until I returned 4 days later. They sent the results of the diagnostic test via email and I had the ability to approve or deny each service issue. They performed all repairs requested and the out the door pricing was exactly what was quoted. I will definitely return for future needs.

I got an appointment right away for an oil change. The facility is easy to get to, very clean with nice waiting area, free coffee. I was greeted immediately. Desk staff was very nice, efficient, and answered a question I had when I called back that afternoon. They ask up front if you want information about possible problems with your car in addition to the oil change. No hard sell to fix other things beside an oil change. It was a great experience.

In response to your response. You misplaced my wheel cover and the lady said Well it must have fallen off cause all I can tell you is that it was on when you brought the car in. Hell I knew that and with the tire rotation it seems to me that when you did that. No body check tire pressure of tires which would be included or at least a courtesy. And that s another reason WHY I would Never bring my car to you unless I Absolutely Had too. And just for your information a customer that was there with me also was unhappy with your service s. Thanks for Sharing

Service was great. They were able to diagnose and fix the problem quickly where as another service center was unable to find the issue and even stated there was no problem when there was a clear issue. Friendly and polite customer service. I would definitely go back for other service needs.

Tuffy has become our go to auto shop. They get you in, keep you informed, don't try to oversell, and look out for their customers. Very much appreciate them!

Absolutely the WORST service that I have ever experienced. I scheduled an appt for my truck to be repaired( super simple procedure). Car was there for 6 hours. I was told that the repairman that was working on my truck took it apart, went to lunch, got sick, and they would try to call him back and see if he could come back in. He came back, then I was told they needed a part that they didn t get to attach what they were fixing long story short, my truck was put back together and not repaired that day. Will not go back!

From the time I stepped into the shop with a warm greeting, I knew Tuffy would be the all things auto shop for me. Very clean and welcoming waiting area. They quick and efficient.

Brought my car to do oil change affer a few day oil warning light came on the went back to the place! !was told everiting was ok after a unprofessional response they could no turn the warning light off! After a couple of days my car begin leaking oil wich is the origin for my car to overheating and burn the engine! the no teke responsability of fixin my car.

I m only giving this star for Mrs.Mary and Mrs.Toni for trying to fix the situation. I came to Tuffys on a silverrock claim and I wish I would have picked somewhere else. Rude and disrespectful owner, my car was damaged and it has only been a month since my brakes were replace and now I have to do another claim to have the brakes replace and the rotors( how do you put new brake pads over bad rotors ) I don t drive my car hard ,I really only use my car to get me and my daughter back and forth from work. The one on albermarle rd I wouldn t recommend them

Had a wonderful experience. The owner and his wife went above and beyond to help me when I had no idea what I needed when I replaced my Jeep tires. Definitely will go back!

I m going to be sooo honest ..the pricing for repair work to be completed was incredible. I looked and looked around and for the same worked I saved a WHOPPING $1600.00. I like Tuffy I like the work they do but why overcharge?

I took my car here for an inspection like I do most years. Was told rear brakes need replacement and was then told that I could get front and rear brake pads and rotors for roughly $500. I double checked this twice and I agreed as I thought it was a good price. Got it done and was surprised to see that they only did the rear. After questioning, I was told I was only written up for rear brakes not all as they had originally stated.I had been going back and forth on whether to write this review as the price is still fairly normal and the work was good, but honestly this miscommunication from them left me unhappy. I'm not going back after this.Edit in response to owner: Happy to provide you a copy of my receipt if you want. It was $455.80 on June 12 2023.

This place is beyond awesome! Took my car in for oil change. As usual, great and compassionate service! Trust me, this is the place to go for all your car service needs. They sincerely care about their customers car needs. I said it before and I'll say it again, this is the only place, I trust to service my car. Thank you Tuffys East Charlotte!

This was our first time getting a vehicle serviced by this company. We had our truck serviced here for new tires, rods and an alignment. The staff here are exceptional and super nice. They didn t try to get over on us with pricing. Extremely affordable car repair here which is hard to find these days sometimes! We will for sure continue to get our vehicles serviced by Tuffys!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Tire rotations, Wheel alignment

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Tuffy East Charlotte. When my husband s and my cars both became out of commission at the same time, the team there was so quick to find the problem and fix it. They communicated with us so well. They have incredible customer service and a full supportive team. We worked with Toni and she was just amazing. I m so thankful for our 5 star experience at this Tuffy and I plan to exclusively bring our cars here in the future. Thank you for your help and care!

Personally I think it s a Rip Off Joint. Cost of Oil change and tire rotation @ $130. Please Ridiculous. Buyer Beware. There ought to be a Law

Great people work at this place. I would give them six out of five stars! They were polite and welcoming, and professional. They explained everything they did and checked, and gave me advice on what to do and expect in the future. Definitely recommend to a friend! We recently moved to Charlotte; Tuffy s was a recommendation. We are so happy for that recommendation. From the minute we walked into the shop we were treated professionally by everyone we encountered. The work needed on the car was more than we had originally thought and everything was clearly explained for our approval before any work was done, along with the cost for each job. Even without an appointment the work was done within a very reasonable amount of time and done extremely well.We cannot say how impressed we were with every aspect of Tuffy s and will definitely use them for all of our car needs from now on. I have been going to Elkins for over 10 years and that will NEVER change. Customer service everywhere sucks, except at Elkins The are great at communicating, great at providing great service and the costs are reasonable and fair. You don't get sold on things you don't actually need. I highly recommend them for old and new cars They know what they are doing! Thanks Eric for taking great care of all 4 of our cars.

Have had my car serviced two times at Tuffy. Great service from the owners, front desk, management, and repair technicians. The repairs were affordable and Tom researched and saved me over $600 on a repair! My car runs great! Will be a customer again!
