Take 5 is the best place for a high quality oil change. Not just the oil change but the fact they check and recheck everything, fluids, filters, and tires. As well that they give a great discount to Military and Veterans. As a veteran it's really important we also support businesses like this one. Highly recommend, and will always bring my car here.

Truly excellent and quality experience. In addition to an oil change - and all that comes with that - I was able to get my cabin air filter changed. The staff worked as a well-oiled team (pun intended!) and they had me out of there in minutes. I really appreciate how well their team worked together and the zippy service. Thank you.

The definition of what happens when you hire for diversity instead of someone who knows what they are doing. The workers just sit there and talk the whole time to each other instead of actually working. It took them 45 minutes to even start in my oil change, and I m the only one in line. They waste people s time, don t waste yours by coming to the south Blvd location.

Made me wait for an hour for a oil change, workers just talking and facetiming in theirs phones, it LOOKS LIKE IS NOT MANAGAR OR MANAGERS HERE, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, IF YOU WANT TO WAIT FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR FOR A OIL CHANGE, COME HERE, beside that they have a long line.

I wrote a nice review but on Monday I saw my driveway and I noticed couple spots with oil. I would say I head over there and they fixed the issue but this could have being prevented if they actually check everything. I wasn t offered a refund or at least send someone to clean my driveway.Service: Oil changeService: Oil change

The service is so amazing here!! They re honest and let you know when you don t actually need work done. Whoever was working Monday 3/11 at 7pm were so great - will definitely be back!!

This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had in an oil change place of service. I sat for 30 minutes before anyone even spoke to me. The whole time listening to the workers try to get people to have additional services done even after they had already said multiple times that they didn t want anything beyond their regular oil change. One of the staff members even asked loudly across the bay whether a customer had decided to have a service done and when one of the workers responded no that staff member made rude comments about how that was a dumb decision. They do not offer a conventional oil change, and if you have a car with high mileage, the cheapest service you will be able to get is $91. When I asked about it, they immediately told me they could reduce that service by $20 which is still unheard of for a conventional oil change. Horrible experience, please don t go alone. I will not be returning to this location, and most likely will not ever go to a take five oil change again. I did, however go to the Valvoline on South Boulevard who completed my oil change in less than 15 minutes, I did not have to wait at all and the cost me almost half of the price that take five was going to do the same service for that took them 30 minutes to do anything beyond put air in my tires.

I want to start off by saying I've gotten my oil changed at take 5 for years. I should've learned my lesson when it happened the first time. My old car started knocking and had many problems after a bad oil change from take 5. Now my new car (which I have many years of making payments on) was about to have the same issue. My husband was going to change my lights and he noticed that the car was leaking oil... Once again the oil filter was not on tight enough and my motor was about to explode. I remember coming here and the people working there was making fun of where I'm from. I don't really care if you make fun of where I'm from, all I care about is getting a proper oil change. In the future please make sure you do your job and tighten peoples oil filters. If you're charging $100 for an oil change, it better be done right! And, on top of that trying to sell me an $80 cabin filter I can get for $15 at autozone I almost wonder if you didn't tighten it on purpose. Buyer Beware!! Please go somewhere else for your oil change!

My first time using Take 5 Oil change and this location and I loved the experience. It was fast, thorough, and I felt safe in knowing my car got the best care. David helped me and was SO nice and ensured everything was squared away before sending me off. 10/10 would recommend.

Today was my first and last time coming here. I only went for an oil change which I explained to the associate, the sign said the price for the one I picked was ~$89. The lady offered check my air filter and I said she could, she told me I had to replace them and honestly the only reason I said yes was because I felt pressured, I asked her how much it would cost me and she just said don t worry I ll talk to my manger and get you a discount and I was never informed of the price or given a receipt. At the end I payed $162.97 for AN OIL CHANGE AND A FILTER. At that time I did not say anything and just payed them because I was in shock but when I got home and informed my family of what happened, they were also very upset and told me i should had never had to pay that much. The sign said ~$89 for an oil change why the hell did they charge me $162? Was the filter $73? I just don t understand why I had to pay $162. HORRIBLE.

I took my car here early in the morning on a Saturday September 16. As soon as I pulled up my boy Francisco had a ice cold Gatorade ready for me. I really appreciated this on top of the flawless customer service. I m not sure what the names of the other technicians were but a guy with long hair added air into my tires and even asked me what psi I wanted before hand. They topped my wind shield wiper fluid off and cleaned my front windshield as well. Francisco provided me with useful information about my oil and which helped me choose the right type based on my driving habits. Another technician informed me on the condition of my old oil and i appreciated the feedback there as well. I ve only been coming here since I got my car and it s always been great service but these guys went above and beyond! I will be returning when it s time to get it changed again for sure. Thanks again for taking good care of me and my vehicle on Saturday morning 09/16 (Francisco and other technicians) still waiting on the email for the other web review but I will fill that one out asap. Excellent customer service is hard to find these days.Service: Oil change

Francisco and Tyrell are the best. They got me in and out in no time. They were personable and answered all my questions while advising me on what my car needs. I'm new to the area and I'm so glad I found this place. I will be sure to return when I need my next oil change.

They flat out suck. I had people who arrived 30 minutes after me leave with fresh oil before I even got in the bay. Once I got in, the employee managing that bay just left despite my being the last car there. These people don't give a single damn about helping people

This is the only take 5 place I will go to! Excellent service, excellent experience, and in and out quick. Also, whenever you go here I would hope that Josh is helping you because he is phenomenal. Just off my experience And seeing how he took care of the people ahead of me I d give that man a raise.

i wont come here again anymore.. over put oil and don't even know where the line is full. get out their less 1 min and the exhausted start coming out smoke. car losing power and almost dead on the road while try to go back to them. after they checked again and still smoke . next morning the exhausted come out smoke and water and dark/dirty oil with it

I stopped in on Monday for an oil change. The wait was around 15 min, it was around lunch time and it was super busy. While waiting David went to every single car in line and asked if they would like a beverage. I thought this was a nice touch. Once I pulled into the Bay Area Adam was very helpful and informative. Adam even noticed that I was a bit low on coolant and due to my car being European they didn t have any on hand. David overheard that I needed coolant and stated that he had some in his car (we both drive BMW s) he personally went out to his car and grabbed his own bottle and topped me off. I was so tremendously pleased with my service and I wanted to thank them again!

BEST OIL CHANGE PLACE IN CHARLOTTEI love leaving reviews like this for places I love and have incredible experiences at.I literally drive across town and pass multiple oil change places. I know I can come here, get my oil change done fast, pay a fair price, and most importantly leave feeling better than when I got there.The crew is positive, energetic, and uplifting. You can feel the family atmosphere among the team and they bring you into it. They re the best and they know it and it s awesome.I came with a $10 coupon and their system wasn t working to scan my coupon, so the manager applied my coupon and gave it back to me to use next time. I love finding places like this and sharing it with others. Don t spend another second looking at other places to get your oil change.

horrible service, if you pull up and all three cars are in the bay, have fun waiting over an hour just for them to keep telling you they will be right with you. go anywhere else lol

I am consistently pleased with the courteous service I receive at Take 5 Oil Change on South Blvd. Team members Ryan and Kindal changed the oil on my 2020 Kia Sportage. I highly recommend this place. I have been looking for a trusted location to do my oil changes & services since I don t trust auto shops for their rip off up salesman tactics. Doing my research, this location was the best option. Upon arrival, they answered all my questions with proper knowledge, were very customer friendly & professional, explained the process throughly, & actually SHOWED me what was changed. David did an awesome job from beginning to end! The price I paid for my oil change & coolant (both were in dire need of a change) was far lower than I had expected & I was out in less than 20 minutes. Over all, I m pleased. Thank you guys!!!

Darius was great. He offered us water, kept a smile while interacting with me and my grandma. He verified oil and charges with me so it made it easy for my granny to understand the price of everything.. The crew was nice too. I ll be at this location again. This was my second time coming to take 5, my first experience was ok but my experience today was exceptional. At first glance the place was very clean and the atmosphere was super friendly. The technician name was Joshua( very handsome btw) went above and beyond for me. He greeted me with a water and he ask me how my day was going. Not only did he change my oil, he changed the corse of my day. See I had no idea that my air filter was the reason for my ac not blowing out as hard as it should. When I turned my car back on the cold air from the ac blew as it did when I first got the car. I had a very pleasant experience with the technician at this particular take 5.
