Sharp Start has been my mechanic for 18+ years. They're honest, straight shooting, not overly technical (able to explain things to you in layman's terms you can understand), and unless an ordered part was bad, there is never a "do-over."I have also bought used cars from Tommy Sharp, and they have been good-running cars that last a long time.Some mechanics just replace things, even if they can be fixed. Sharp Start can do both, a rarity.My cars (for all family members) have been everything from Oldsmobile, Hondas, Toyota, Lexus, and Subaru.Their pricing is middle of the road, definitely lower than dealer prices, but higher than hit-or-miss mechanics. They don't gouge. Every so often I have priced things at other mechanics, just doing my due diligence, to make sure that the pricing structure is consistent with what it has always been. Sure enough, they are consistently competitive, and usually lower than any other mechanic I might trust, for all these years.I give Sharp Start a well deserved 5 stars, consistently earned over 18 years.
