Developed a valve cover leak on our X5 BMW over the weekend. Called Motorwerks first thing Monday to see when they could look at it. Asked me to bring it in, which I did They worked on it immediately and I got me the car back Monday afternoon! Great service, expiediant and at a fair price. Very competent and nice guys to work with. Thanks!

Experience, that s exactly what it was. An experience! I contacted MP on Thursday with a need to have my ML 350 diagnosed. They gave me a rough appointment time to bring my SUV in at 9:30am that Friday. I arrived, was professionally greeted at the counter, information taken. Inside of an hour of arriving, the tech came out to take my car into the bay. Within the hour, they came to get me and show me what they d found the issue to be. Here s where the experience turn into Greatness. My check engine light was on and my car was jerky and vibrating at stop lights. Idle low and seems like it was stalling. Instead of finding it to be a major issue, their tech did their diagnosis and found the issue to be a bad fuse. Replaced the fuse to the oxygen sensor, and the car was restored to normal. They could have exaggerated the issue, but instead they did the right thing and addressed the real problem ONLY! I was am. And only charged me for the 1hour of labor and the fuse. I was impressed. Completely. I highly recognize MP Motorwerks and will only take my cars to them from here out. They earned my trust and confidence

This is my go to and trusted mechanic for any of my imported vehicles' needs. Mike and his team are absolutely top notch, and the prices are always fair and not overinflated like dealerships or other shops.

Mike and the crew are great - they've handled everything that an aging MB GL450 throws at you - transfer case, airmatic struts, turbo coolant lines, camshaft position sensors, - all the work was done perfectly and at a fair price.This time it was motor mounts and again Mike diagnosed it right away and replaced them quickly.Can't recommend them enough!

Mike and team were quick to get me into their shop but it became apparent they do not know much about the VW 2.0L turbo engine. They charged me 4 hours labor for a camshaft position sensor replacement that takes at most, 30 minutes to install. And even though I challenged them on it, they stuck to their story. In the end, they were unable to diagnose my problem correctly and thus were not able to fix it... this is after spending over $2300 with them...

I am so happy to have found this mechanic to check out my VW. I had a long list of items from another shop that Motorwerks provided a second opinion. I am so glad I did because I would have made repairs that were not necessary. They did a comprehensive reviewed and I made the necessary repairs. The cost was reasonable for the labor and parts. Additionally, once the repair was complete, they showed what was replaced and explained the wear that required the replacement. One item that I had noticed was given some consideration by the mechanic. He made a minor tweak in lieu of replacement and it made big difference. I am so thankful to have found this shop and will bring my vehicle back.

Mp motorwerks rocks! Very professional, knowledgeable, high quality work, and high value. I have used them exclusively to repair my 2017 BMW X5 to replace engine mounts, tie rods, wheel alignment and oil change. They are open to alternative customer part preferences. Certainly more reasonable than BMW Dealers. I even drive from Gaston County for service at MP Motorwerks.My only recommendation for owners to beef up waiting area accommodations. Fresh coffee and tea would be nice. Employees seem like they enjoy working there!!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Michael and the Team are some of the most honest people on repairs of my car. I needed some more expensive things repaired and Michael was very honest about what he would do if it was his car. He saved me thousands over the Porsche Dealership Getting the brakes and other things in the future done is also in the thousands of savings as well. Wont be visiting any other shop but MP. Great alternative to the dealership. I have had my Mercedes GL 550 serviced here for many years. The team is prompt in assessing the problem and then managing the repair. I have a 2019 Audi RS3 that I am going to start bringing to them as well. They told me they don t leverage paid advertise and only use word-of-mouth. Give them a shot with any of your European vehicles.

These guys have serviced 4 of my cars. I have to say I have NEVER had a better shop. They are straight up guys. Charge right prices for things. Even explain to a simple person like me what is going on with my car. I would NEVER take my cars to anywhere else. I don't understand how there are bad reviews. This is the best shop I ve found for my bmw in Charlotte. These guys provided me with a transparent and competitive quote to service my transmission, change my oil, and spark plugs. Had an awesome experience with MP Motorwerks! After 137k miles the clutch finally gave out on my 2010 MINI Cooper and after reading great reviews I decided to choose MP Motorwerks to complete the job. They were AWESOME! J was friendly, down to earth and helpful the entire time. I was also grateful that I didn't get any bad vibes which, as a female, tends to happen when calling around for quotes. I'm so thankful to have found a shop I can trust! The clutch is working perfectly and back to specs! Thanks, y'all! You earned a loyal customer! :)

This place seriously deserves more stars!! quality & fast work, guys here are really amazing & truly honest! Saved me soooooo much money on my Audi! I'm sad that I no longer have a foreign car for them to work on & have to get serviced elsewhere. They are very convenient to the breweries too!

I recommend Mike and his team without any reservations. Recently had both our vehicles serviced at the shop. I was a bit hesitant going outside of the dealership, particularly for German cars, but grew weary of overpriced parts and labor. The MP Motorwerks team was attentive, informative, and timely. I highly recommend and have already told others to visit.

I have been taking my 2007 BMW X3 to Mike and his team at MP Motorwerks for over 2 years now. They have always provided excellent service and taken car of any issues my car was having. The quality of their work is excellent, their prices are reasonable, and they are honest. I highly recommend them for your car care needs, great people!

Best auto repair in Charlotte! Took my LR3 2008 to them multiple times and they have done quality work for the best price. Had a very unpleasant experience with a Service Advisor at MP Motorwerks. Upon walking into the facility employee immediately took a call doesn't acknowledge may presence walks back into shop area looks at a vehicle I'm assume talking with a customer. I rang the customer service button after 5 min finally comes to the counter stating he will be with me in a moment. Very Poor Customer Support and Bad first impression especially as I'm a car enthusiast and have ownership in Motorsports industry in another state.

These guys are not true mechanics. Do not take your car in with transmission problems. They Misdiagnosed my transmission and would have charged me through the roof for it.Mike should not be touching cars. Maybe they can change oil, but that s about it. Wouldn t trust them for anything...Service: Transmission

Haven t had many problems with my Bimmer but when I do J and the guys are who I call on. They handle all my preventative maintenance with very reasonable prices unlike the dealership. Affordable and very honest. I vouch for MP.

A truly honest mechanic! Didn t upcharge like a place I got a quote from (saved $400!) for a new crankshaft pulley for my MINI. Great work, great speed, super nice too!
