I dropped off my box truck to get worked on back in August and was told that it was gonna take some time because they were shorthanded. I informed them that I had taken it to another mechanic, and they told me the only other option was replacing the engine. The representative informed me the diagnostic fee was going to be $150 and I agreed as long as she informed me any other charges before they were done for my approval. She confirmed she would reach out to me as soon as the representative was going to diagnose the truck.A couple of months past and I am randomly contacting them to see of an update on the diagnostic and every time I get told he will work on it and reach back out to me. I called out last week to see if they had worked on it, and the rep told me the person who was going to diagnose it was going to give me a call later that week, I received a call from a gentleman and he stated that the motor was needed will need to be replaced and it will cost me upwards of $24,000 to replace it. I decline and tell them I would be picking up the truck.I arrive today and there are two gentlemen at the office, one of them states that he will attend me as soon as he finishes up with the customer ahead of me. The other gentleman (Max)seems to be the owner because he is being brought some issues about billing from the attendant which seem to have him bothered. The attendant walks into the shop area and I asked max if he could help me. This man proceeds to be sarcastic asking me who I am and what I m doing there, I explain to him that I m there to pick up my truck and I was supposed to be diagnosed an issue. He goes into the shop and speaks to the attendant and comes back, looking at me dumbfounded. The attendant comes back into the office and I proceeded to give him my information. He informed me that the cost would be $300 which is a diagnostic fee and the cost to place the machine to read the errors.I informed him that the original attendant told me it was going to be $150. The owner asked the attendant who wrote the ticket the day when I dropped off the truck. The attendant stated it was Angela, Max stated that Angela would never give that price and I was making up a number. Max proceeded to tell me to pay the money that was owed and leave. I tell him that he should not be treating a customers in that manner, that there was no reason for him to be angry. He proceeds to tell me that if I leave the car he was going to charge $25 each day he decided to sell the truck. I cussed him out. I decides to pay and get out of there as soon as possible. The attendant apologies for the owner, I let him know that I understood and I felt sorry for him having to deal with an owner like that. I don t know how this guy is still in business or has any employees.

Stay away!!!!!!!Please read reviews from others as well!!!!I should have learned from prior experiences with this business.. I brought a truck to have the front brakes replaced and was informed they could get it done same day.. didn t hear anything or get a response for one week after dropping off. Finally spoke with Angela who informed me they are down on mechanics and have not had a chance to do anything with the truck. I stated that I would come pickup the truck and do the work myself. Picked up brake pads and rotors. When I arrived to get the vehicle I was told I would not be able to take it until paying a $280 fee for inspecting the vehicle.. i understand paying for someone s time when doing vehicle diagnostics but be very careful working with this place and their slight of hand. Paid $280 for them to tell me I need new brakes on the truck I brought in for new brakes.. take your business to Stewart at Southern Trucking.

These people are an organized criminals, they should not even run a business. they are the most dishonest people. I took my RV for an inspection. I have checked everything before I went there. after they inspected and they couldn't find anything wrong. the mechanic came and told me that my blinker doesn't work and they would have to order a part that cost almost $500. I advised him I already checked the blinker was working perfectly just before they put in their Garage. after an hour argue back and forth and treating them that I would call a police and file a report. The owner then went inside and told him to undo what ever he did. I then realized how many people these people ripped off. so many people have been billed thousands of dollars for something that could be fixed few hundreds. if I would have seen these reviews before I would never taken my RV there. they need to be reported for better business bureau for conducting scams. with all these bad reviws and horror storiest. I don't know how they keep running their business. DO NOT GO THERE unless you're a mechanic and you know exactly what need done, and you absultly don't have any choice. ....Service: Auto engine diagnostic

This place is a rip-off. Took my vehicle to have some repairs done with no Issues until they worked on it. Was charged $3200.00 and vehicle is in worst condition than it was before. Would not recommend them to anyone else.

I had a very challenging air leak problem on an older truck with nearly 900,000 miles of abuse on it from a previous owner.Tom, the service manager took a personal interest in correcting the multiple problems and was not satisfied until he could confidently put me back in service.I have never had a better experience in over 20 years of trucking. He even called me the next day to make sure I was alright. If anyone is in or around the Charlotte area and has truck issues don t even consider going anywhere else. It s the kind of place where the owner opens up in the morning and says, Make yourself at home, there s coffee in the back.

If I could put negative numbers in I would. Took us 6months to get our RV back. One excuse after another. Insurance had trouble with them also. Owner said he has trouble keeping workers. I wonder why. We had two flat screens stolen from our RV on the owners property. Police report taken. Owner says nothing he can do. Do not take your vehicles there.

This company are the largest deceivers you could meet. I witnessed someone tell my brother the price for lights were $300, only for him to go pick his truck up with a $1200 bill. The only explanation they gave was no one was authorized to give that quote! Well if that was the quote given from the business, that was authorization right there. They are very dishonest people! Very unprofessional.

Had them do an oil change on my Sprinter van. Took 4 hours, OK, was alright with that, but then on the way home the oil light comes on. They had overfilled the oil. I had to go back and they drained some oil. That fixed that problem, then, when almost home, I lost almost all power. Finally got it home and looked under the hood. They had not tightened the clamp holding the engine exhaust circulation tube.Shoddy service and poor customer relations.

Service is horrible they didn t fix my rear brakes properly, over charged for the service and very slow. After my truck came back bc the brakes and the psi wasn t functioning correctly they recommend more work that did not needed be to done. They are liars and crooks. I would not ever do business again and I suggest you not too either. You would be better off taking it to the dealer. They get no stars!!!!

***** DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY***** Review Date: January 18, 2016I utilized this business without checking the reviews. Mistake #1! This company up-charges everything WITHOUT telling you. Nor do they give you a written estimate before beginning repairs. They will tell you they don't know how much it will cost until they finish everything. The industry standard has majority of repairs broken down into how many hours the job calls for yet Fleet Truck Services still tell you that.I was given the exact part price by one of their employees and then after they installed the part they increased the price of the part by $57. Then they tried to tell me they were quoted the wrong price by the vendor but that the amount they were charging me was actually lower than what the part normally costs. I requested the name of the company the part came from which they initially resisted giving to me, claiming that it wasn't on the ticket. I contacted the company/vendor they got the part from and the company confirmed the initial price I was quoted. So, the employees of Fleet Truck Service provided false information to me. They also up-charge the towing bill when the tow truck company bills Fleet Truck Service. They up-charge that fee by $50 as well. So, I can only assume the Labor was inflated as well. When I called to get the up-charges removed Bob kept over talking me and would not let me explain. As I continued to probe he began to yell at me. When I asked to speak to Brian, shop manager, he said, "I ain't letting you speak to nobody and hung up". If after reading this post you still decide to use this company, purchase your own PARTS. They will say they can't warranty it. The warranty will still be attached based on where your purchased it from. Plus if you take your car there after a certain time they want be able to order parts until the next day which means the repairs to your car will go into the next day when they could have been working on it same day. I would also recommend you pay for your own TOW out of pocket. I would also recommend you obtain a WRITTEN estimate before authorizing any work to be performed. I would also advise you to call every couple of hours because they will not update you along the way. Last, request a print out if you ask for a computer generated diagnostic test. Make sure it belongs to your vehicle. In my case they were trying to charge me the $95 fee but as I kept probing I learned they only performed a process of elimination based on the symptoms. If you have to go through all of this with a company they don't deserve your business. I hope this review helps.

I went for an inspection, the guy lied and said I needed 3 tires only needed 1. After getting tires and returning for inspection, I was getting quote for them to put headlights in, the guy said I was wasting time because I wanted a quote.

I did a job shadow of the shop and the people here were very nice. the owner Max handled customers very well and everybody in the shop was doing there fare share of everything. Everyone in the office did there job with utmost respect to any customer that walked into the door. The shop manager knew who to call at any moment for any question he could not already answer himself.

Be aware...they give astronomical prices, 2 calipers over $900... i bought for $200. Owner is rude. PM overchaged $100. This place is dishonest. Was there once not anymore. All positive reviews probably done by friends.

Overcharge for parts and labor, if something breaks while repairing they blame the customer. Filthy environment, owner doesn't reinvest in his shop or lounge area.....But if you have no other place to go, they'll gladly take your money:-)*Don't be fooled some companies (alledgely) for good reviews.... Maybe that's why we have just as many 1 stars.

Used this company for several years for our personal and business vehicles. Always received good service and staff was friendly and helpful. Most recently, Max has become rude and almost angry if you question him on any service that was done or the price of it. We will never use their service again.

Do not take your truck there! Classic bait and switch- not with product but with price. Was told to take my truck there via a referral from robert davis to talk to Max the owner. Talked to Max on several occasions on bringing truck in and making appt and needing king pins. Gave yr make and model etc. He said specifically labor 535 and parts around 150 but no more than $800. Dropped truck off and Paul- mgr said that total would come to about $1300. Paul proceeded to say that Max didnt know what he was talking about. What?? Hes the owner. You would think an owner would have some clue about estimation. Maybe a little off but not $500. Went to pick up truck and tried to speak with Max. He denied and sidetracked about any estimate, discussion and or/price. For the record Paul did reduce labor a little.

Flagrant violation of the mask mandates, they smoke inside and in your vehicle as well. They also missed a very obviously disconnected assembly on inspection
