I took the truck to this place 4 days ago... to change a tire and align the truck. Fast excellent service. I came in last minute and was helped immediately. Service was done same day while I waited. Staff was very informative and kept me up appraised of what was going on.Not too many places around to get food from but that's what ordering apps are for.

We used Diesel Doctor's in Charlotte in the past at the location/shop and had a good experience, so when we needed roadside repair we contacted them again tonight. HUGE MISTAKE. He showed up and attempted a repair for 30 minutes (you're required to pay for a minimum of 2 hours) and then told us he couldn't do it and to call a tow truck. On top of that they hit us with the entire bill for the two hours, and informed us we needed to find a shop to tow the truck to. Do not recommend and will not be using again. Called another local shop who sent someone out, had it fixed in an hour after putting enough torch on it. Go elsewhere.

I got brakes, and an airbag replaced on my Kenworth T680 as well as a PM (Oil Change, Lube, Filters etc.). The work was completed in a timely manner at a reasonable price. I could go to a place that's a lot closer to where I live, but I've been coming here for a couple of years and I trust these folks. Read that again. I said I TRUST them. That's a big deal considering there are so many shops out here that you can't trust. Thanks to Tim and the crew at Diesel Doctors I'm back on the road making money.

10-24-2023. Contacted Diesel Doctor at 630am, and received their after hours staff. I was told to call back at 730 am when everyone would be in the shop. At 730am I spoke with someone and gave them the required information. I was then told that someone would be dispatched shortly. At 9am, I called for an update and was hurried off of the phone with a response that an ETA was 60-90 minutes. Calling AGAIN at 1045am to inquire. I was told they were leaving NOW! Give them up to 30 minutes. So I waited. Eventhough they are only 0.3 miles away from my location! At 1140am, I called and asked to have the service cancelled. It was clear they were intentionally being disrespectful of my time and emergency. The dispatcher said, well i can send them right now! To which i said, that's been said to me since 730 AM and its after 1130. Please cancel.The entire situation was a waste of time, where I could have been searching for a legit roadside repair company. Beware, if your time and emergency response is important to you!

Air system, exhaust system, and clutch job. All of these things had to be fixed correctly by a different shop. I can't tell you how upset I am about this mess. From putting parts on wrong to making more air issues. No one is truly checking the so-called work. I wasn't going to leave a comment, but people be very, very careful letting these guy's work on your truck. Sooooo upset, but when your employees don't care or no how to speak or read English, it happens. Never again

For wheel seal, they did the job right except they put in the wrong brake shoes.I had no time to wait for re-ordering the right ones. That is the only inconvenience I had with themOverally, they are good!

Called service told it will be 60-90 min, tech showed up in 10 min and was in rush to go on a next call . Asked him by me and my mechanic to check the batteries and job was not done, ended up towing the truck and waiting two days for service to find out its just batteries. Very poor service, i would not recommend using these guys. This was a huge loos over wrong diagnostic provided by this company. Called them to complain offered hundred bucks credit for my troubles, who would use them again if they cost me 2000 over batteries . Mechanic was in such a rush , he just left for another call. Really poor and unprofessional service. Invoice number 250081388

I didn't even get work done here for the simple fact their customer service on the phone is horrible. I called to get a estimate about an issue and the service guy act like he didn't even want to assist or something, I don't know if it's just me but if you don't like your job QUIT......you deal with people daily learn to put your attitude aside and do your job

Had a breakdown dispatch said the mechanic will have a 2hr delay he will call you when he's on his way. Get a call answered the phone hello the mechanics just hang up. Call him back GMDid you call and hang up yes was here checking the trailer the trailer is ok . Well why didn't you call me I was waiting for a call. Are you going to check the tractor I'm right around the corner. I have already left. Really, so your not going to check the tractor? The phone hang up. I call back sir did you hang up on me? He said yes it's nothing else to talk about. He have bad customer service. Who ever came to 5130 hovis rd 5:30 am will mess up alot of your business with his nasty attitude. First Fleet do alot of business with your company. Sad

LOVE DIESEL DOCTOR BROUGHT MY TRUCK HERE A FEW TIMES AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT MARCOS AND TIM ALWAYS GO ABOVE AND BEYOND TO GET ME BACK ON THE ROAD DONT TRUST A LOT OF DIESEL MECHANICS BUT DEFINITELY DONT EVER WORRY WHEN I LEAVE MY TRUCK WITH THEM. They got the truck fixed in one hour. The truck was 1 mile from there shop here was the bill...parts $21.55Service call $99.00labor $280.00fuel $30.00shop supplies $25.00tax $30.85Total $486.40The work was good but I think the bill was high from replacing a light plug on the trailer......Service: Electrical

carriers and CDL drivers/truck owners, please stay away from this place. Absolutely unprofessional stuff. Hard to reach someone over the phone, no response. They were holding my truck for 2 days and supposedly had to work on replace a radiator. However, when I showed up to pick a truck it has the same issue. I tried to get any updates from the guy in the repair shop but everybody was ignoring me and asked me to leave a facility. The interesting part is they charged my cc for the parts and work that has never been performed. Be careful and stay away from this place.

Absolute trash, both the service and employees. Total rip off, they didn't start the work for 2 months, then did not know how to fix anything on the truck. Then proceeded to do unauthorized work on the truck, when I said I wouldn't pay for the unauthorized work they threatened to tow the truck and then said they would also charge $50 a day for storage of the truck for the 5 months that THEY WEREN'T WORKING ON IT. Showed up to pick it up, just so I could end this nightmare, and of course the truck was completely dead even after they CHARGED ME FOR NEW BATTERIES?!! Absolute scam in every sense of the word, DO NOT TAKE YOUR TRUCKS HERE THEY WILL SCAM YOU TOO! This place needs to be out of business yesterday.Services: Exhaust, Battery

way to expensive. They charged 30 dollars for fuel to go 3 miles down the street. Charged over 500 dollars to fix a pigtail. I could have bought all new parts and towed the truck back to Greensboro cheaper than what they charged. We will not be using them anymore.

Where do I start first off Tim the employee/boss needs to be replaced or he needs to retire. They call themselves doctors but don t know how to fix the actual problem. Brought a truck there to get service and the so called doctors must of spoken to each other to come to the realization that they didn t know how to fix the issue. So instead of calling to be straight forward or refer me to a different shop they thought it would be smart to start replacing things that didn t need to be replace so they can charge you for not fixing the actual problem. So I guess doctors who don t know how to fix anything will just just fix random things that don t need to be fixed.Not professionalNot diesel doctorsNot smartRead all the reviews before bringing your truck here it will save you time and money. Shut this place down cause they are professional scam artist.

Had one of my company trucks there and they charged around $500 for NOTHING. They threatened my coworker to get his truck towed. But did they fix it? NO. This is unprofessional and unethical. They like to steal and take advantage of you. We are not from NC, so they do this on purpose...Please give him his money back. You know who you are.

we have an older truck. Problems while driving from Greensboro to Augusta and began having problems with power - could only go about 30 or 40 mph. Called Diesel Doctors. spent approximately 1 hour using their equipment to see what was wrong. Nothing showed up. They said they could find nothing wrong and charged us $383.00. Not sure the mechanic knew that much... Additionally, the online invoice I paid had NO detail - only the price. On the phone they told me it was $99 for the roadside call, $110/hr with a 2 hours minimum, $20 for fuel surcharge...not sure what the rest was... Does NC charge $54 tax on that amount?

They charge way too much to send out an uncertified mechanic to put fuel filters on a truck and fail to prime it, then leave with the truck still not running. Almost 600 dollars for a road call that is literally 5 minutes away from their shop that still left my driver stranded. I would be ashamed to call myself a mechanic if I couldn't prime an engine. I highly recommend going any other route than calling these guys if you need anything more than a chicken light replaced, they probably wouldn't be able to do that correctly.

Will ripped you off if you don't know them and never been there before. They were about to charge me 75 dollars just to check if my car has any issue or not! My check engine sign was on due to O� CENSOR which I found out from Autozone for FREE, thanks to Autozone for their great service.Be aware of this place.

I took my truck there and had a terrible experience. I would speak on the work they did after having my tractor for two days but nothing was fix. Money not well spent. Staff was horrible and lazy. Sorry I have nothing good to say about these guys I'll never use their service again.

We had a trailer that was once in a fire and the wires were a slightly melted. However, after the road service / towing company reattached them so we could recover our equipment. Anyway the lights stopped working on our trailer around the Charlotte area so we decided to use the services of this shop. The person there opened the trailer plate of our flatbed and said that the wires are no good and that we would have to replace the whole cable from the front to the landing gear. I said is there any way he could reattach the old wires to get us moving. He replied that there is absolutely no way because that is a major liability and if something were to happen he would be responsible for it. So he "conducted" his repair and charged us almost $1000 for it stating that it was a lot of work and so on. A couple months later the lights stopped working again and come to find out all these guys ended up doing was reattaching our old and apparently no good wires back the way they were. The ended up keeping our trailer a whole day and charged us almost a $1000 to do a five minute job. We used many mechanic services on the road over the years but this has been by far my worst experience. Never again!

Called at 4pm to ask about looking at my fifth wheel hook was locked. Lady took a message no one called back for over an hour which was after 5 and they charged $428. Just to come look at it plus repair.Had it not taken a hour for call back I could have drove the truck to their shop.What a RIP OFF

Friendly staff, didn't have any problems answering my questions and let me have my dogs with me in the lounge while they worked on my truck. Gave my girlfriend and I each a hat and me a calendar too, wish I hadn't forgotten my calendar there though. B service and check only took 2-2.5 hrs and since I was out of hours when they got done they let me sleep there until they shut the gate at 6pm. Overall I'm well pleased w them!

Charged us $383 ($99 service call then $120 for 2 hour min- Should have been $339 as labor is excluded from sales tax). Came, hooked computer up and it didn't show anything. Took fuel filters off and said they looked fine, no code on computer. After about 20 mins onsight was ready to collect his money and run. Asked for mechanic to venture a guess as to what could be causing the truck to have no throttle response he said he had no idea and that we should take it to the dealership. The only silver lining in this is that their email for payment didn't come through to the office so mechanic had to sit around and do nothing for the full 2 hours until email came through. Highway Vultures
