Best prices on used tires in Winston Salem! Quick turn around time. These dudes stopped eating lunch to help get my truck back on the road! 15/10 recommend!

Our visit about 1.5 weeks ago was a great experience. My son purchased 2 new Nitto tires, got an alignment, and got his wheels balanced. The only issue at this time is one of the tires now has a bulge. The tire will have to be sent back to the manufacturer to determine if it is a defect or user error. Either way the process will take about a week. In the meantime, my son has to buy a new tire to continue driving. If it is deemed defective, the shop will refund him for the new tire. Waiting to hear back from the shop so my son can bring his car in. Stay tuned for updates regarding customer service and how the shop handles this issue!

Fantastic, quick, and quality service! More than reasonable pricing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. I brought my car here for a tire change with very little notice prior to my arrival. They helped me immediately and I was out in under 20 minutes. Would highly recommend this place!

We have a 1999 low mileage Toyota Camry that was making an odd engine noise, hesitating, stalling, and getting poor gas mileage. B & R Auto s Angel and Victor were able to diagnose and repair these items that had stumped other garages. They also were able to trouble shoot a flaw in one of the new part s performance, that was preventing the engine form cooling properly. These two items resulted in an excellent reliable long term repair.

Posting this review late, but better late than never. I have been going to B and R for a year, and each time they have went above and beyond. They never overcharge for unnecessary expenses, and are honest in what needs to be done. They took in my car on a tight timeline (I had a flight to catch the very next day and wanted my car in good shape before I left) and replaced the battery in no time. They were genuine and I felt they weren't trying to swindle me or anything. Initially said it was an alternator but after more testing they found it was just the battery, a pleasant surprise. Definitely happy with the quick turnaround on such short notice.Service: Electrical repair

I've taken this review down 3 times now because I hate leaving bad reviews but they deserve it & I'm leaving it up.Front desk receptionist Angel has a serious attitude problem. I'm honestly the most respectful easy-going person and when I literally just asked if I could trust the shop he raised his voice & was completely disrespectful.On top of that, they gave my car back after a $900 brake job with the shock absorber completely detached from the frame.Any mechanic with a trained eye should've easily been able to see the rust problem & inform me before they did the job. Nope. Take his money.& then they REALLY thought I wouldn't notice this thing knocking around when they gave it back without saying anything???This is why people distrust auto shops!

Had a check engine light. Took it to this shop from a recommendation from another person. Ran the diagnostic and said I needed coils, plugs, and a timing chain. They quoted me $4k plus. Had it towed for a second opinion and was told there is absolutely nothing wrong with this car. Not a fan of dishonesty.Service: Vehicle InspectionService: Vehicle Inspection

I would highly recommend this mechanic!! Victor, thank you! He was very respectful, insightful, and communicated with every update when it came to my car. I had a engine replaced, along with other work because of the year of my car. Victor and Angle were so helpful with helping me pick out my parts , they did not try to price gouge me. Talk about true integrity! If there s work to be done on your car, they are the mechanic to go to. I was coming from out of town traveling to Charlotte, NC when my tire went flat. Once I made it to my destination I quickly looked for a tire shop I could go to in the morning to either get my tire fixed or replaced. Upon my search I came upon B&R Auto Tire & Repair. They had an excellent rating, reviews and was right around the corner from where I was staying. I called them that morning and they immediately scheduled me for an appointment. The gentleman who assisted me was extremely helpful, kind and courteous. He fixed the tire that was flat (just needed a patch) and made sure my other tires were okay and filled them with air if needed. The service was efficient, effective and took no time. I was very pleased with the service provided as well as the gentleman who took care of my vehicle for me. I would recommend this tire shop to anyone in the Charlotte, NC area that is having any issues with their vehicle.

The guys here went above and beyond. Transparent, solid deal, quick repairs and took my car in after 20 shops couldn t. They work on hybrids whereas some shops won t. Thanks!

Called this business for a tire quote, agreed to an install time, and the rep requested a deposit. I additionally wanted to see if it was possible to have brakes installed but never got a chance to request due the unprofessional rep cutting me off. I asked if a deposit was standard since I've purchased tires many times before and had never been asked to do - the rep angrily shouted out " I'm not bringing in tires if I'm not sure your going to pick them up", I disconnected the call. Take your business elsewhere, clearly they done ain't it!

I m writing this bc it was difficult for me to find a reliable repair shop with trustworthy mechanics that know what they re doing. I found B&R after a tiresome search in 2015 and I ve been using them ever since. I ve taken my Tundras, girlfriends cars (Hyundai, Ford), now fianc� s car (Ford, so it s used to being in the shop jk) and an airport car I just purchased this year to them. I have never once been disappointed in their work. They are honest up front and tell you when something doesn t need to be fixed. No one has beaten their price and that is why I continue to drive from Gastonia to have them work on my vehicles. They have done everything from oil and tire changes to engine and exhaust work on the vehicles I have brought. Victor and Angel have treated me very well over the years and you won t find a better shop in the Charlotte area. I'm new to Charlotte and got my passenger mirror taken by a tree branch due to the city's neglect getting it cleared from sticking out in the street. I drove to several shops to get quotes and all places were chafing insane $$ for a simple fix. I came to B&R Auto and Victor was an absolute gem from the start. He helped save me a bunch of money on fixing my mirror with his recommendation and top tier service. Will absolutely use B&R for any work I need some moving forward!

Completely unacceptable mark-up on prices, promises not kept, and a manager that knows nothing about the company he represents. Note to owner: your "manager" is young, immature, and unprofessional; he's going to cost you alot of business. We were in an urgent situation to have brakes and a wheel bearing replaced on my sons truck. After having the truck towed there and being told by Victor that he would work out a deal for the repairs since we were purchasing a set of four tires as well, they emailed us a quote that included a $1200 markup on the parts alone - excluding tires. He said they can't compete with online prices and have to mark things up as a business...at which point he stated that we could just have the truck picked up if we didn't like their prices. He also promised to have the job completed the same day if we dropped it off early. Three days later and he just got around to looking it over. After negotiating the price, he sent a revised quote over...and the parts prices actually went up! When we questioned Victor, he said the original quote he sent over was a mistake and those parts were no longer available, so we have to use the more expensive parts now. Are you kidding me?! Talk about insulting your customers intelligence! And the tires that were in the warehouse heading to the shop? Yup, no longer available...gonna need to pick out something more expensive! Ridiculous!!! Lastly, their website states "family owned business" - when that was brought up, Victor stated that he didnt know anything about that. Just an all around unethical and unprofessional way to do business.

Top-notch service. They are very honest and knowledgeable. I am a mechanical engineer who works on his own car and rarely let anyone else touch it. Unfortunately, I don t have enough time to do some of the work. I can say with 100% confidence that I can take my car here without worries. I will definitely be referring people to them. Fantastic experience. I was in from out of town to purchase a car from a dealer, and wanted to get a third party to perform a presale inspection. I chose these guys because of their quality reviews and I was not disappointed. The staff quickly fit me in their work schedule, made a great recommendation for a local lunch spot (Zach's Burgers, a great recommendation as well), and they were finished when I returned from lunch. I could not have asked for better service. I highly recommend this shop.

This place should have a 5 Star plus rating!!! Victor was so kind, professional, and knowledgeable. My Acura MDX Onyx, and I moved her 4 years ago from Connecticut. I cannot believe it took me that long to find this gem of an establishment. I will be a Loyal customer from now on. B&R saved our RV road trip vacation by diagnosing and repairing our A/C system. We are from Florida and our A/C failed on the first day. They got us back on the road within hours. They made the extra effort to obtain parts quickly avoiding an overnight delay. Excellent communication, service and reasonable price. We needed front brakes on the car. I realized i didnt hsve an appt but i felt i could have been treated better. And i was quoted one price on the phone, then another when i arrived. No one greeted me when i walked in the door. One guy looked at me, didnt speak and kept walking. Perhaps it was just a difficult day for them.

Had a good experience with my service here. The guy that runs it is very professional as well as empathetic. He explained that the process would take a bit of time, but that they were trying to do a good job rather than a fast job which put me more at ease. He also called to tell me some good news (worse-case-scenario did not occur) the night before pick up so that I could get some anxiety relief. Thanks so much B&R. Highly recommend!

I had a flat tire and it needed to be replaced. They offered a solution to get a used one, if I wanted, which was also at an entirely different business. I ended up replacing both of my old tires with new ones at B&R. I do like how his first instinct was to try the cheaper option to get me going. It was a good first impression. The two new tires were very well priced!

Always great service and honest work. The prices are unmatched and they've never forced me to get any unnecessary work done. I will always recommend them Angel is one of the only guys I trust with all of my cars from my Cadillac to my maxima and my other foreign cars. He does it all and very well but will honestly suggest another place if he can't fit me in.

Oriana and the mechanic were very helpful, my car broke down on Tuesday at Auto Zone. Visiting from Raleigh to Charlotte. Although English wasn't clear, I understood everything!!Whenever I'm in Mecklenburg County, they have my business!!!
