Walking into AutoZone extremely confused and scared about the alerts my car was showing, Edgar Rivera came to my rescue!! I don t know much about cars and not only did he explain to me exactly what was happening in a way I understood, he did all the tests and told me exactly what steps to take next. I very much appreciate the service he provided, they exceeded my expectations and changed my perception of how scary it is to have car problems. Thank you so much, Edgar!! I appreciate you!

After searching on my own for a product I walked up to an employee, I believe his name was Kahlil, and politely said "excuse me". For several seconds he did not acknowledge me at all. Then in a very annoyed manner he said "what do you need?". I explained I was looking for a brake light that the website said was in stock but that I could not find on the shelf. He loudly scoffed and said "well then we don't have it" in an extremely rude tone. He then started to berate me for not calling ahead saying that the online stock system was worthless. I was standing there in awe of how rude he was being when Nekia walked up and offered to help. She was friendly and polite. She went to the effort of checking in the back room and sure enough she found the light that I needed. If I could give her 5 stars and the first guy 1 star then I would.

Was told a part I ordered last week would be in today. Tried calling for OVER 25 minutes to keep getting put directly on hold. Get there, I'm told I drove there for nothing as my part hadn't arrived; although I was guaranteed it would be there. I mention how I had been attempting to call for over 25 minutes & the employee LITERALLY starts to curse at me.I ask for thr manager & get told I can go get her myself. The manager comes out & tells me how she's been stressed. She doesn't even address the fact that I was being cursed at..WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE & MANAGEMENT!!

Came in for a 2020 Telluride headlight. 60K miles. Is off sometimes, on sometimes, so I came in to ask what I should do. Kahlil assisted me and couldn t even put his phone down to listen to my question or even put eyes on the subject to see what I m talking about. He was blatantly rude and dismissive. The female working was SHOUTING to Kahlil (while I m trying to converse with him about my issue) about how some girl didn t know her make and model and there s NOTHING she can do. She is going on and on passive aggressively about some girl who didn t know her make and model car. This entire store was rude and unaccommodating and I will take my business to the dealership, like I should have from the jump. Kahlil doesn t see eye to eye with his customers

I am very disappointed in the autozone store on central ave charlotte n.c and I have lived in the plaza midwood neighborhood for 30 years and the closest auto parts store is autozone, and I have also owned 2 businesses dedicated to the automotive industry, this morning I went to buy a pair of gaskets, an employee approached me and asked me in a very rude manner what I wanted, I explained what I was looking for, I gave him all the information and he just told me in a rude manner, I can't do anything, I need more information, he gave me the answer. He turned around and left me standing, I told him if you don't like your job, look for another one where you don't have to talk to the customer, he immediately yelled at me, told me to get out of the store and he came to meet me, I told him that I wouldn't leave and that I wanted to talk. with the manager to complain about his behavior, he approached and the other employees stopped him, at that moment the manager came out and I explained to her that I had never had problems with any autozone employee but this was too much, she apologized to me but I told her that A store like autozone should not have or admit this type of employees. As the owner of a diesel truck workshop, I always treat my customers as the best no matter what problems I have, thanks to the manager of this store who apologized on behalf of This bad employee without education or manners

Went there to get wiper blades at 8:30 AM. Store hours said they open at 7:30. The door was unlocked, walked in, lights were off, and the alarm went off. An employee just sitting in the parking lot got out of his car and said they weren't open. The unlocked door and signage says otherwise. The employee was very rude and made it seem like all this was all our fault. Will never go there again.

I m late but Ms.Kia (like the car) helped me a lot very friendly and reassuring about my cars motor and wished me well .! Come too find out nothing was wrong with my motor . Thank you so much.!

This store is best in Charlotte area. The sale manager Edgar Rivera is very nice and good customer service!My car can not start, went this store check the battery . The battery was good. What should be? Edgar Rivera told us maybe the darter, and what else should be .. Very helpful! I bought the starter and replaced, the car go back road. Thank you !Customer does not like hear you need ask your mechanic, we just sale the parts.

Brandon T- is honestly an amazing worker and deserves a well deserved promotion!!!! I trust him with all my car needs and have gone to him only for multiple times! He took his time to check my car and suggest what products would be best. He s very patient and friendly and his explanations are very thorough. I only come here for him to help me! Great New Store Mgr Kia. Her and her knowledgeable staff went above and beyond to fix a batter issue which turned out to be a bad negative terminal on my Lexus ES350. Very grateful for their help on a Saturday while most shops are closed. Will be visiting this location in the future.

Amazing that they do these checks for free. Very polite staff. Used to live here but visiting on vacation now and battery failed no need for a mechanic tested it had part all fixed. If I'm being totally honest been a long time since autoparts store was helpful usually have bad experiences. Wish I remember there names so I could mention here.

I am not well versed in cars so coming into a place like AutoZone can be very intimidating. Ms Kia W greeted me with the biggest smile that immediately put me at ease. She walked me through everything to make sure I understood & felt comfortable. This isn't the closest store to me but I will happily drive out of my way to visit this store again. Thank you Ms Kia!

Online said they had a tool in stock.They had the wrong item in its place on the shelf.Beware before you make the drive that Inventory is a mess and not accurate as to what is actually in stock.

Edgar Rivera, the Commercial Sales Manager at the central Ave auto zone was beyond helpful! I needed all three wipers replaced and he was able to show me all of my options at different price points and his recommendations for each. I haven t purchased in quite a while and he was patient and kind with me while I weighed my options. It s always super helpful that y all are able to install as well! Thank you Edgar!

Terry was incredibly helpful and reassuring when my check engine light came on. He quickly told me exactly what I needed, and how to replace the part myself, but didn t pressure me to buy anything. I ll definitely return to this AutoZone in the future when I need anything!

Excellent, kind and patient service at this Autozone, #0481, on Central Ave in Charlotte, NC! Edgar Rivera, Sales Manager, went above and beyond to help me get my car battery replaced, for which they do the installation for free! As a woman, it's sometimes intimidating to deal with car issues. I've been to this AZ other times and always feelcomfortable walking into this store. Today was no exception, and Edgar was by far one of the most helpful sales people I've ever encountered.

I went to AutoZone looking to buy some wiper blades for my wife's car. The manager Colin was very kind and helpful. The other employee left much to be desired. He was an older short heavy set black male and after purchasing my wiper blades even tho the manager stated they do replace them for you he said he was NOT going to do it. So that gave me a bad notion that in THIS particular location there's a huge disconnect between leadership and the employees. The insubordination and lack of customer service by the employees is evident. I will not be visiting this store EVER again. However, I do appreciate the kindness and humility of Colin. He's definitely an example of what leadership and customer service is. That's the only reason for 3 stars.

Got everything I needed and all with the support of Terry and the staff. I was greeted by the employees serving other customers and that's something I associate with customer service. The wait wasn't long, but acknowledging my presence and making me know you appreciate my business will keep me coming back. Thank you!

I would give Mr.Terry TEN stars at the Plaza Midwood location if it were available!! He was such a HUGE help! My car battery died after a long day at the office. Got jumped off & went straight to AutoZone for battery test/replacement. He was kind, courteous of other waiting in line & so very helpful. He graciously installed my new battery & I m on the road again. Thank you so much for all your assistance sir! Made my headache of an evening a delight!

I suspected my battery went bad, so I took my car to AutoZone. Edgar was very helpful and friendly. He tested my battery to confirm that was the culprit of my car troubles, made a recommendation on which replacement to get, and installed it for me. Very great service!
