The service was better, more timely, and cheaper than my dealership.(The lounge could use some renovation, and the coffee machine needs a refill lol, but overall good service)

Despite the costly repairs, I was very satisfied with my time here. Sam did a very good job and was very nice. He definitely knows what he s doing. I had an appointment in the early morning and the coffee station was clean and spotless, as well as the bathroom.

Beware this place is dishonest. My mom (African American and 75 years old) took her 2008 lexus suv in for inspection. They said that car failed because it needed 2 tires, battery, and a power steering leak. They quoted her 2000. I told her to take it to my macanic in Liberty NC. We took it to them they said NONE of the things they said was wrong were wrong. But my macanic found that she did need a water pump. It cast 700.00.

I've been going to this location for many years and will no longer be a customer. After $1300 worth of repairs I questioned why there was a $39.99 fee tacked on the end for "Supplies". I asked why this was not part of the itemized costs and the service advisor Javier Ortega said its for rags, oil, oil disposal, etc. The repairs I received were brakes and a wheel bearing and when I get oil changes done there, oil disposal is part of the itemized costs. When I questioned further the service advisor said they were taxes but when I said Sales Tax was a separate charge on the receipt he pivoted and said they are environmental fees. To be charged arbitrary fees like this is unacceptable, especially after receiving a text saying my car was ready only to get there and they forgot to do the state inspection I requested. I would not recommend going here any longer.

I was here for an annual State Inspection; Sam (store manager) was very welcoming and so kind. The service quality was truly exceptional and the execution Sam made to get me in and out as fast as he could leaves me incredibly satisfied with my experience back at this location, yet again. Highly recommended, ask for Sam!

Call me on the morning of my service to tell me their Lyft service isn't available which was clearly available on the website when I booked. It was clear I could get a ride home. I almost fell for a 50 dollar balance and rotate just to get it done today. Wow. Can't believe AAA associates with this business. Do not recommend.

Came in with a mystery issue with a rental car in the middle of a day long road trip. Sam the manager went out of his way to make space in a packed schedule and the crew worked their butts off to help us out, even though they were shorthanded. Eventually discovered that a gas station had sold us contaminated gas, and the car could not be fixed, but guided us and helped us immensely on a resolution. They're the best.

Employees claimed to have preformed a diagnostic on the car, however I still had to receive a second opinion. They over charged me for services that wasn't preformed, but they taught me a valuable lesson. The check engine and traction system lights were on. Car also made a grinding sound on acceleration. I thought the repairs would be through the roof. Turns out the engine/traction problem was caused by a worn out gas cap, and the grinding was caused by a wheel bearing. My car is 17 years old with 141,000 miles. It s a Toyota, and I want it to last another 17 years. Jodie, the manager, suggested engine tuning, system cleaning and spark plug replacement to ensure the car s performance for a long time. They also aligned my relatively new tires, which were badly misaligned. The cat runs like new; it s smooth and quiet. I m extremely please with the service and the cost! Jodie and Sam were very helpful and carefully explained what was going on. Jodie kept me updated throughout the repair process. The staff is friendly, courteous and professional. The biggest compliment I can give is I TRUST THESE GUYS!! Please let them know how happy I am. DO NOT go to this location, they are shady and dishonest. I brought my car in for State inspection, only to find out that my turn signal wasn't working....meanwhile, I watched through the glass as one of the technicians stripped one of the screws and broke off a piece of plastic that holds the panel in place. Not only did they not admit they did it but said they were afraid to touch it since they didn't want to break it. Meanwhile, I watched the technician do it!!!!! The damage had already been done. Also, they made me pay in full, even though they damaged my car and never fixed the lightbulb to the turn signal. I took my car to another place immediately following who confirmed that they not only stripped one of the screws but actually broke off a piece of plastic. RUN from these dishonest people. I will be calling corporate!!!!!!!!Service: Vehicle Inspection

I loaned my 2002 Mustang to a family member several months ago she is a 73 yo teacher with no automobile knowledge. She called me that it would not shift. She has a AAA member and had it towed to pineville aaa car care. Many overpriced services were offered. I need to add the car has less than 65000 mi on it and has always been garaged. They told me there would be a $150 diagnostic fee. I authorized this they then came back and told me it was a wiring issue and would require 1to2hours to repair I should also add I do not live in the area. I authorized the repair. And within minutes received a note that the car was ready to be picked up. Total cost over $500. I would certainly consider them dishonest at best

I arrived at this Service Center and told them my tire pressure is low and losing air. The guy then proceeded to check it by rubbing his hand over the tire and spraying some water around the rim. Then he advised me there was No Leak. I then went to the Mgr. and told him there is no way you can check for a tire leak while the tire is on the car. The first guy who helped me was very rude and obnoxious. I got the Manager, Jody Fuller involved and very long story short, they end up finding a nail in the tire just Like I told the first guy they would once they took the tire off of the car and checked it properly. I would never go back because the first guy was soooo rude!!!Service: Tires

Always over charge here compared to other places. Roadside assistance is a great tool from AAA, but the same cannot be said for their car shops. Unless you have money to burn, keep looking to find a price conscious trustworthy mechanic.

Spent $200 for them to tell me I need to spend $3000. No repairs were made yet I was still expected to pay $200. These people are unprofessional, rude and dishonest. I will never go back here. And of course snarky comments were made since I am not familiar with car repairs when I was only trying to understand what is going on with my car. The whole situation could have been handled entirely different. If you are a women I would definitely recommend going anywhere else but here unless you want to get talked down on and spoken to like you are less valuable then them. Made an appointment with the dealership that sold me the car and they quoted me a third of the price that AAA quoted.Services: Auto A/C recharge, A/C installation & repair, Air conditioning

My car was towed here, only to be told immediately it was going to be over $2000 before the $140hr diagnostics testing that took over 2 hours. I had the car taken elsewhere and it was a $10 relay switch and loose negative terminal on the battery. Thanks for nothing!Oh yeah, this is all after I called the evening prior to my tow and was told a driver would be there at X time, which never happened and they never bothered to call, reschedule, nothing! I had to call the next morning when I woke up still in my car waiting from the previous night.

Had to get car inspection done for state and called up ahead. Joey greeted and asked to come on same day. Sam was another gem who helped with required details and squeeze my car in earliest available spot and got work done in like 10 mins.Speed - superBehavior - greatExperience- awesome.

If you are not spending money, they are not interested. First service was great, got a list of things that needed to be fixed. I didn't get those fixed. Third service was oil change, after service - coolant low indicator and power steering fluid was running low. The vehicle was having starting issue, asked them to check, they said no such issues. 2 weeks later vehicle died, I was stranded roadside. I'm a AAA member, called roadside assistance they didn't schedule towing for 5 hrs! Had to call another towing service and pay out of pocket. AAA overall has been a disappointment.Services: Tires, Oil change

I believe the work (basic oil change, tire rotation etc.) was done correctly. The list of recommended repairs was far too aggressive, and when I was shown the items they appeared not to need service or replacement (belts etc.) for perhaps 20,000 miles. When I showed up for my appointment I was told it would take 45 min to an hour. It took two hours. This was my first time at AAA Pineville but if this happens again I will take my business elsewhere.

Excellent customer service! I have never experienced such great service from an auto service. The whole process, from the text updates to the phone calls and even checkout, was easy and comfortable. They were patient and explained my options and services needed. I dealt specifically with Andrew and Rich, but I m sure the whole team is amazing! For as long as I live in this area, they will have me as a customer.

Professional, friendly, and helpful; I coasted in with a barely running car and they received it immediately. My neglect caused a rarely broken component to break: they got the parts in a few days and got the car running like new.I did not have the option to price check their labor or cost of parts so I cannot speak to the price point but service is A+.

Very upsetting experience I had here. I dropped of my car for the AC to be fixed. They told me the compressor and condenser were bad and needed to be changed. On a car with 39K miles I had my doubts but asked them how much. They quoted me about $2500 for both, when the dealer price for both is about $900. I told them that they are price gouging and ripping people off, but they said that's the price in their system and nothing he can do. So i decided to buy the parts from the dealer myself and have them install it. Installation cost... $900. After the installation they call me back and said the compressor is bad and that this time I need to buy one through them, and pay another $900 for installation since the parts were not purchased from them. I told them I bought those directly from the dealer and they didn't care. I am starting to think it is not the compressor but something else. I payed them their $900 of lies and took the car back. Now I found out they took the old compressor (which was most likely working) and never gave it back. Heck, im not even sure if the compressor in there is the new one or not. Robbed my blind.

Will, the interim manager, was so helpful in getting me in when my car was making noise. He really took the time to make sure we fixed the problem, took his time explaining to me what was wrong. He seemed to really care about the customer and also about the staff there. If there were more people like that, the world would be a better place. The honest, competent, mechanic fixed my transmission issue at a reasonable cost. They even drove me to work although it was 20 minutes away. They've also fixed issues with friend's cars. I highly recommend them.

Can t give zero stars or else I would. This shop is full of liars who just want to prey on uneducated consumers. Went in for an oil change and left with a quote for over 2,000 in repairs that I needed or else my car was a danger to those on the road and myself. Was pressed to leave the car there to get it taken care of. Thank god I went for a second opinion at my car s dealership. Not one repair was needed and they were shocked that AAA would do something so incredibly shady. I understand garages will recommend things that need fixed to pad their bottom line, but to tell me I had to get these repairs done or else I would be in danger is absolutely piss poor business practices. Do not go here... if you are uneducated about cars they will take advantage of that. Disgusting.

If there was less than 1 star, i would have gone for it.For the first time i thought of using AAA service instead of dealer provided one. I set up an appointment for 11 am oil change for my car. I was there at 10:58 or so, all good, checked in, i was told it would be ready in 1 hour, or may be another 15 minutes. I asked to be texted when ready. No text for 90 minutes. With battery low, i thought i would just go there and collect my car.I walk in at 12:45, which is 45 minutes after my car was supposed to be ready.I was told it is not ready, there was no opening.I asked: what is point of setting an appointment? Why did not you tell this when i checked in?Answer: i am sorry sir.Ok, when can we get it done?Answer: a spot just opened up, we will do it right away, in 30 minutes.Ok. I step out and waiting and watching my car to be picked up.A few minutes pass by, nothing happens.I was not happy, put my mask on, walked back, asked for my keys. I said, it was disappointing as a first timer at a AAA owned service center.I got my key back and got into the car to discover all the plastic steering wheel and seat covering!That was the only good part of this experience, AAA operated service centers are taking precautions.Rest is ZERO star!

There is nothing like "peace of mind". I know when I drop my car off I am getting the best service at a great price. They always keep me thoroughly informed in addition to giving me options. First the good. The guy up front was nice. Now the bad. The lady that came in had a flyler and even with that coupon her estimate was $625 as the guy blurted out "I hate coupons. You never say that in front of customers. Next I had a coupon for a oil change and tire rotation and they did my oil change. They made up some jibberish about good back tires being the best tires are for hydroplaning. So no tire rotation. As he went over all the things wrong with my car me mentioned I needed new windshield wipers which I just replaced 3 weeks ago. My car has 140000 miles and I deliver for a living so I don't need all this stuff. Lastly I'm driving last night and it starts raining and I put the wipers on and oil goes all over my windshield where the guy touched my wipers with oil on his hand. Just great trying to get oil off your window with oil on your wipers in the pouring rain. Expected better from AAA but I won't be back and it's sad the job they did.

I made a 9am appointment for car service. I indicated I would not wait at the facility but would walk around and eat breakfast next door. I did that, did some shopping, and returned at 11:30, only to find my car still where I left it. It had not been touched from a 9am appointment. The first rep told me, 'we thought you were dropping it off'...so what? My appointment was at 9am. The second rep said they got behind and he was going to call me when HE returned from lunch! What? Never again!

I went to AAA at 10403 Park Rd in Charlotte today for auto inspection because it was close to my house. After the inspection was done, I was told I needed repairs to pass safety standards which the shop would do for me at a cost of $2,443.93. One of the problems they detected was faulty wiper blades causing "streaking". I was suspicious because my car had undergone routine preventive maintenance at a dealer 2 months ago - this included replacement of the wiper blades. Today I asked the agent at AAA to show me how the wiper blades were malfunctioning; the blades were tested while I watched and all of us agreed there was nothing wrong with how the blades worked. This lead me to consider the possibility that their report of the other problems was also false. I left without having anything done to my car there.Then I went to another licensed auto inspection company. My car was checked and passed the inspection. No problems were detected.I think a case can be made that AAA at 10403 Park Rd operated unethically with me today by trying to generate payment for services that were not necessary.
