Total scam - Stay away!! I sure wish I had looked at the reviews before I came here. I came in for a simple oil change and tire rotation and was told I needed new brakes ($450) and when I reluctantly agreed / they immediately told me my front brakes were bad too. While I was in the waiting room - one person was told they had to buy new wiper blades to pass inspection. Another person had dirty brake fluid. I went to another Jiffy Lube in Raleigh for 10 years and was never once upsold. So disappointed and mad at myself for believing them. If I stop one person from going here - I will have made something good out of this horrible expensive experience! Update: they just hit someone else up for a bad radiator! That make 4 for 4 of the customers here with me being scammed. Unbelievable

The manager (Bern?) assisted me solving a problem with DMV. He was very friendly and helpful. I am very pleased with the service which was fast and efficient. I will go back with my other car.

Excellent work and quality customer service. Went to get car inspected and they changed my wiper blades and noticed v that my brake fluid was low and added some. Thank you for looking out for your customers

Not the 30 min's and done Jiffy Lube of years past. 10 min just to tell you if they can do your oil then told 2hrs (no promises) and you "cannot leave vehicle due to liability reasons"***Never received a response from my reply. More poor service and time wasted...

I have been a customer for this store for several years. However, I did have a horrible experience for my recent visit. 1. They didn t close my oils tank cover. 2. The oil filter is really bad. It started to leak after a short time. 3. They like to ask me to replace brake fluid by saying it is too dirty.

I don't ever leave negative reviews, but I won't be coming back to this location again. I needed a quick oil change before a road trip and thought a place with a name like Jiffy Lube would be the place to go. I gave three stars because they did the oil change in a reasonable amount of time, however the service and price was terrible. $120 is on the expensive end for an oil change for my Corolla. The employee handling my intake and checkout didn't even speak in full sentences to me, had earbuds in watching instagram videos the whole time and acted like I was inconveniencing him and he'd rather be anywhere else. The other employees did a fine job with the actual oil change, though.

They charged me $40 extra to pass my inspection because my windows are tinted, and isn t super dark. But for the past 2 years, it was no issue!

They did not tighten the two back tires after replacing back brakes. Rode down the street and car was thumping. A FRIGHTENING experience. Also asked if I need to call my husband to approve getting brakes. Never will I return. Do not recommend. I hope they did not damage the car.

I went in to get my car inspected. The inspection was performed and I was on my way in less than 15 minutes. And it was on a Saturday, so I was happy to be in and out so fast!

Phenomenal work for a great price. Tray and James worked on the vehicle and with me on the sale. Both individuals had the upmost respect and worked diligently to get the job done right and fast. Highly recommend for anything related to vehicles.Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Downloaded a Groupon only to be told Jiffy Lube stopped accepting them months ago . Huh?!? Then why is Groupon still selling them? (I purchased it in their waiting room). They gave me a discount but wouldn t honor the Groupon, now I have to fight to get a refund from Groupon !Also, told me my car wouldn t pass inspection due to Dirty headlights and wanted to charge me $60 bucks to clean them. Not.Happening. and Never.Again.Service: Oil change

BEWARE!Looks like Jiffy Lube is continuing with the upselling scams they ve been doing for decades. Google this if you don t believe me.Dear Jiffy Lube, Stop scamming people! Don t tell someone their car failed NC inspection because it needs a brake fluid flush and that you aren t allowed to just top it off like Khalil told me. AND especially don t say you need a flush when the fluid is crystal clear yellow and is filled to the max line. If I hadn t been to my trusted Subaru dealership for an oil change 3 weeks earlier I might have believed Khalil. Instead I went home and looked for myself at the brake fluid and it was perfect. Went back and passed inspection after doing nada!So, Jiffy Lube quit making your employees scam people. And employees - grow a conscience!

DO NOT GO HERE! These people are SCAMMERS! They told me they wouldn't pass my inspection without buying two brand new tires for the front of my car. I said I didn't want to but they were relentless. I eventually got the tires ($800 for two) and was told to come back the following week to get them put on my car. When I came back they had no idea who the mechanic was that inspected me and NO tires were ordered. They put some tires on they had in the back and called it a day. Not even a month later one of the tires exploded and insurance said they had used old tires on my car. I cannot express enough PLEASE do not go here, especially if you are a woman because they will take advantage of you and scam you.Services: Tires, Oil change

I used to come here for my state inspections but no more. A few months ago I went where they lifted the hood and a worker opened my brake fluid, stuck his finger in there (a huge no no) and told me it's dirty and needed to be replaced. First, I just had the brakes redone someplace else and second, what does any of this have to do with an inspection?Just today I brought my old ford ranger in for an inspection and they failed me for my headlights needing to be "restored". I guarantee my headlights might need a little cleaning because they are are a little dirty but this would never fail an inspection and never have. Took my vehicle down the road and passed inspection. They just wanted me to purchase whatever to clean the headlights. Still got charged for their fraudulent failed inspection. I should report them to the state.I've seen them lift the hoods of other cars during an inspection and call out the owner and "show" them something that's wrong, which has nothing to do with the inspectionThey are a scam. Just inspect and stop pretending your helping people out by "finding" problems when none of that's needed. Do not recommend.Looking at past reviews and others have the same issue so the owner will respond with an apology but obviously nothing changes

The people that work at this Jiffy Lube are absolutely trifling I came to get a state inspection and was told it was going to be a 3 hour wait. There were maybe five cars ahead of me. I said okay, no problem. Sat in my car for maybe five minutes to check other places I could get an inspection done. Then I was told to pull over to the side cause *surprise* it wasn't going to take 3 hours. The whole ordeal maybe took 30 minutes. After they pulled my car into the garage, they told me that they wouldn't pass me because my back two tires were bad, my headlights needed to be cleaned, and my tint was too dark. I was told if I bought two new tires for $130 each they would forget about the tint and the headlights. I said ain't no way. They tried to take advantage of me because I was a young woman driving a nice car, and they assumed I didn't know any better. I tell you what, I drove to the Jiffy Lube on NC-55 and got an inspection done for $13.50 like it was SUPPOSED to cost. DO NOT come to this Jiffy Lube, especially if you are a female, because they WILL try to flirt with you and then scam you. My mama ain't raise no dummy.

These guys are the best! Always take such good care of me. Doesn t matter how busy they are, service is always served with a smile & inquiry if there is anything else they can do to meet my needs. Today it s HOT outside, the cars are lined up out the door and they are still in a good mood & took the time & care to make sure my daughter s car is in top top shape for her drive across country back to college. Recently went to get an oil change there. They left the oil shield hanging down. No issues before i brought it there. Brought it back for them to hang back up. Watched them just cut it off and throw it in the trash. They tried to tell me it isn t necessary and that is was broken after i pressed them on it (no issues before i took it there). Regardless as to if it is necessary, they never would ve told me they took it off. Unprofessional.

Just weird. Oil change only. Asked several times about which oil. I asked for the cheapest. Took a lot longer than 30 minutes. I felt like I was watching a slow motion movie. Just did not feel confident of the service. At check out the $85 oiled was billed. Had to correct them on what I requested. Just can t go back, too strange.

Recently went for an oil change and inspection to the Carrboro/W. Franklin St. location (after being told by the Fordham location their system was down as usual) and was told that I could not pass inspection without a brake flush. Not knowing that this was a LIE, and desperate to pass inspection, I went along with it and paid an exorbitant amount of money. Fast forward a week later when I had to get work done on my vehicle, the dealership told me that a flush is never necessary to pass inspection, and told me a brake flush was clearly not done. I will report to BBB, reach out to corporate, and as an attorney I will figure out a way to take legal action- extorting an individual to pay for a service that isn't necessary to pass their inspection is fraud and a criminal offense. This fraudulent/scamming business needs to be shut down and if you support their business you are perpetuating the fraud and advantage they take over women and customers who are not knowledgeable about cars.

Did my oil change about a year ago. Stripped the threads on my oil pan without giving me notice. Applied a helicoil on my pan also without telling me. Now looking at 1k for a new oil pan.P.S also try to sell you services that aren t needed for a oil change.
