I have lived in Chapel Hill for over a decade and the Fordham Blvd. Jiffy Lube IS where I go for trusted oil changes and State Inspection. The Manager, Jordan always has the best technicians, highly professional and experienced. They are always warm and welcoming. Never suggesting services that are not warranted. My Jetta was inspected and serviced today by Austin who is a certified mechanic having worked on everything that moves perhaps minus an Army tank or Jet. There is a concern regarding seeping of oil under the manifold. What s a manifold? Well, he patiently and painstakingly explained the intricacies of a gasket never sounding the alarm but providing guidance in a trustful manner that soon this issue would have to be addressed. Thank you, Austin! A great hire for this location! That being said, I ve always been advised how to maintain my vehicles and drive safely by all Techs over the years. This IS a neighborly Jiffy Lube so don t get stuck on a franchise stigma. These gentlemen deserve our business and Jiffy Lube Corporate if you re reading this, give them all they need (the lounge was immaculate and the garage bays so organized, however, they could use new chairs. Thank you Jordan, Austin, Mike. So grateful!

Getting ready to sell a used vehicle, so I stopped in with no appointment for an inspection. Mike promptly greeted me. From that point until I left, he surprised me with his hospitality on top of providing a great service experience. Mike got the vehicle into the bay and inspected. He then walked me through the results of the inspection and offered recommended services without coming across as up sales-y. A great neighborhood spot with professional, attentive staff!

I called for an inspection appointment at 2:35 pm for same day (Friday) after been rejected or postponed for 1+ week in 2 other businesses. I arrive at 3:08 pm, the tech who received my car was very courteous and knowledgeable (specially about the different counties inspection requirements) to be short, at 3:30 pm I was driving my car fully inspected and without pushing sales speeches to get more business from me. Definitely, I m looking forward to take my car there for future services. Recommended without reserve!

Great experience coming here for my safety check. I called Sunday morning and they told me to come in. I had to wait, but i came the last Sunday of the month so I was expecting to wait. I have an EV so they only charged me for the safety inspection. Super happy I came here and plan to go back.

Went there on a late Saturday afternoon and they took me right in to get my truck inspected. I was in and out in the jiffy. Fast and friendly service. Thanks guys!

Very slow service the last two times. Another person and I that also had a fleet vehicle waited for our oil changes and tire rotations for over an hour and a half. Last time it was over two hours. Other customers were in and out much faster who arrived later than us. They may have been getting a different kind of service. I think I'd have been okay with this if they had told me the amount of time it would probably take. I've never had it take this long with my personal vehicle.

The manager who I worked with was very thorough and took the time to make sure that I understood what was going on with my vehicle. The team at Jiffy Lube Chapel Hill has definitely changed over the past few months. I have had previous experiences where I felt uncomfortable and was dreading having to go in yesterday. Thankfully it seems like there is new management with a more respectable hardworking team.

I am so pleased with my recent experience. My wait times were less than I was told, the staff are extremely efficient, unbelievably friendly, and overall I thought, very helpful. Services were also cheaper than most of the other local chain businesses

Wow, what a great manager. I believe his name was Timothy! I had given them a call about 45 minutes before they closed asking if they could squeeze me in for an inspection to which he said he would do his best. After arriving 15 minutes later, to where I found them getting ready to clean and close up for the day, he did indeed let me into the shop for an inspection. Not only did he give me an inspection, but was knowledgeable about the process of an overdue inspection and registration. He got me in and out within 15 minutes, yet still apologized for the long wait time. He was the manager, AND the only employee licensed to do inspections. So he was running around doing his normal duties but managed to also perform an inspection that he was by no means obligated to do. This is by far the best experience I have had at an inspection shop. His employees, although unable to assist him in the inspection, were very hospitable and updated me on the progress of my inquiry. Timothy as well as his crews hospitality are well deserving of the 5 stars as well as acknowledgment. Thank you for what you all do, and thank you Timothy for all the help.

Jordan and the technician who went over my full car report with me (maybe Mike) were both awesome. They made sure that I understood what was going on and met me where my knowledge of cars was at. I never felt like I was being sold anything.

I had several questions, both about my car (a 2019 collector's edition v8-289 Mustang driven by Tiger Woods at Pinehurst golf match) and the services Jiffy Lube could provide. Station manager was very knowledgeable, and ALL the employees there were very helpful. I WILL be coming back for future car care.

They were professional and friendly, ~$60 for cheapest oil change. Knocking a star off cause it took so long, was there for about 50min with only one other car getting serviced in the oil change line

I want to share what could have been a very negative experience, into a very positive one. I had a service performed at this location and there was a mistake made. I called it to their attention and they said "please bring it in and let us verify". At which point I brought it in and they confirmed that there was a mistake made and they took full ownership. This is the point I was expecting some push back like "not our fault" ..."could have been this that or the other". But they took complete responsibility. In addition, they could have chosen to address it with a quick fix; however, they chose to fix it the right long term way. $hit happens. If you own up to it and address it shows integrity.

Great experience! They explained everything clearly and made sure I knew what was a necessity and what could wait. They even pointed out a couple things wrong with my vehicle that they wouldn t be able to take care of themselves, but encouraged me to take my car to the mechanic (and it turns out it was very necessary). Thanks y all, especially the people who re the reason my car didn t go without necessary mechanic service.

Having some doubts about this place especially when they are busy I have gone there for years but I am loosing my confidence ! Not sure if I am right ! Have to find a backup place even tho I hate to do it. !Anyone experience this ?

Jordan was good there. Need more them. However, I realize also jiffy put the wrong oil in my car two years ago but I m glad my car didn t act a fool on it. For those minds who are wondering they put in regular oil instead of full synthetic. don t see the same people there so I guess stuff change since then.

I was told my car was ready. Started it up only to hear a loud clacking sound. It turns out they did not put any oil in it. Not sure how it passed their quality procedures to ensure this does not happen. After oil was put in the engine the sound went away.

It is 139 pm and I just got a safety check on my car and an oil change by the most professional men in the business.I wish there was a way to tip them. If you are in management for this particular Jiffy Lube, please find a way that happy customers can share by tipping these hard workers.

They did their Job! I didn t like how at first, they recommend you to get an oil that doesn t fit with the model of your car and is more expensive. I told they to look on the label of the car what type of oil my car needs. I m not into cars like that but I m happy I checked because they were ready to fix an oil that my car didn t need. That s selling someone short. One of the staff members named Mike or Michael was helpful to clean my headlights and did well.

I am actually giving this place 0 stars but it will not allow me to do this. I will NEVER go back to Jiffy Lube again and I will let everyone I know (in my neighborhood, my work and other groups I am regularly around) not to go there. My car was stolen while I was waiting in the lobby for it to be inspected. They haven't been cooperative and are not responding to us. We will be taking this matter further.
