I cannot speak highly enough about Angel at the Advanced Auto Parts off of Fordham Boulevard. He was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond for me when I needed a replacement battery in a pinch. He took the time to help me replace the battery in my mini cooper and ensured it was registered and reset properly.

Absolutely incredible experience here. The staff was helpful went above and beyond to help me diagnose the issue with my battery, cleaned the cables, and replaced in a matter of minutes. 10/10 would recommend for all drivers in the area.

Great experience with warranty battery replacement.I had bought a platinum die hard battery less than a year ago. It didn t start on the first really cold morning in December and wouldn t start again even when temperatures warmed up. I didn t have the paper receipt and had to go through old credit card invoices to find the date I bought it. I contacted the customer service text line and they were able to email me a copy of the receipt.I jump started the car and drove to Advance. I was helped by Angel, who was great! Battery tested with really low voltage and wouldn t crank over when tried to start. He gave it a quick charge and tried to start again. He thought the alternator might be bad and not charging battery, but couldn t test it as car wouldn t turn over.Angel replaced my battery under warranty. After he installed it, he tested the alternator, which tested ok.Super happy with my experience getting my receipt and then having a helpful technician diagnose and solve my issue.

I got stranded here waiting for AAA for a couple of hours and they were so so nice and helpful! The two workers who worked Monday night were the nicest guys who made sure I was comfortable and tried everything to help me :)

This store and their employees are fantastic. I believe we worked with Amber. My jeep hood latch broke, and they were able to assist quickly with finding a replacement and letting us borrow some tools from not only the store collection but their personal as well. I would recommend this store for anyone in a bind!

I turn signals in my Jeep stopped working, and the store didn't have the part I needed, so an employee suggested that I go to the website and see if they have it in stock at another location. They didn't have any stores close, but I was able to order it online. The part arrived outside of the box in an envelope, which tells me it was a return that was restocked. I spent an hour taking apart my car, and getting the piece in, and it was defective. On the receipt it says i can return it to any store for a refund. I brought it to the Chapel Hill location on Fordham Blvd. & the manager, Manny, told me that because the product was opened, he could not refund my purchase. As I tried to explain that the product was not even in the box when it arrived, he was dismissive, and told me that it was an electronic part, & he doesn't accept returns of electronic components. The manager then walked away and went to help someone else, so I walked out in a pretty angry mood and decided to try the Carrboro store where I got excellent service and was taken care of. Manny cost his store a loyal customer of more than 15 years. But it's fine. The Carrboro store is only another 5-10 minutes down the road, depending on traffic, and it's worth the trip!

Mannie and his team really helped take their time to not only read my code on my Honda CRV, but also explain the process in which it will take to be fixed by coming out to see what was going on under the hood. Answered all questions, and went well above the call of duty to help ensure I get the proper care needed for my car. Will with 100% certainty be back to this AA, and glad to have the right technicians on my side after moving from New Jersey.

I just had the best experience here! My Prius battery died, I called and was given a quote that was exactly half of what it would ve cost from the shop down the street! Chaska (yup, asked his name because he was great) got the battery the correct battery from another location, and installed it quickly and competently. My neighbor recommended them to me and I can see why, highly recommend.

Went in for wiper blades, they sold me a $70 pair. I needed the cheapest pair as the design works better on older cars. The $70 ones are made for high performance. They would not stand by their mistake. Poor performance by sales and management.

We had a great experience at this location just the other night. Our battery died on a frigid February night, and we were about two hours from our home. "Mike" helped us from start to finish in terms of confirming that our battery had reached its 'end of life,' and then he helped us pick out and install a new one just before closing and in really, really cold temperatures. He was fantastic and super knowledgeable ---- as well as friendly, courteous and kind throughout the process. If we are in need of auto parts in Chapel Hill, we are going to this location and asking for Mike!

I went into Advance Auto Parts and was met by Ben. My girlfriends battery was completely shot. He meet us with a great smile on his face. He was super friendly and very personable. He tested her battery and informed her that she would need buy a new one. Ben then helped us choose the best battery that would be right for her. He is a very genuine person! In the past I ve been to other places and people seem so annoyed and super inconvenienced to help. Ben was NOT this way at all. He was glad to help us and definitely put our minds at ease. This is my first time meeting Ben, but I will definitely be back because of his EXCELLENT customer service! He even helped me buy a magnet to help collect my tools when then fell in the hood of my car. He is a a GREAT employee!!

The associate at the AAP store on Airport Boulevard took the time to research and explain what part I needed. Much better than the Autozone store associate in Morrisville, who was a bit lazy about offering assistance.

Mike from this location provided excellent customer service. I had Stains on my paint and he walked out to the car with me and spent time assessing which product would work. His recommendation immediately took the stains out and my car looks a million times better. Mike deserves a raise. Thanks again mike. Awesome customer service

The employees here are exceedingly helpful and honest. They stand by their products and services. This location has been our first stop for all of our auto and lawnmower needs for more than three years. (4 years later - different staff, just as kind and helpful)!!

Great store! Employees were so nice, they had what I needed in stock, employee have great advice. Changed battery for free - they were proactive in asking if they can change the battery- not like other places where it's like pulling teeth to get offered services.

Great people and great customer service! David really squared me away on that windshield wiper install. Love the sale on the Trico Onyx blades. Those are my new favorites. Great job, Chris, and everybody at this location!

Dave and Brandon are my heros! It can be intimidating to go to a car shop as a young woman, but they made me feel so comfortable by teaching me about different car parts and walking me through what might have been wrong. If I didn t know something, they were incredibly empathetic and talked me through it.I came in to replace a taillight and they went above and beyond. Dave not only helped me replace it, but he helped me look up which type of light was correct for my car. He tried out different lights and troubleshot with me when it wasn t working at first. (My BMW/sockets are 15 years old haha.) Finally, my battery ran out while I was there (yes you read that correctly) and they pulled around of their personal cars (both Dave and Brandon) to help me jump my car!Their genuine kindness, knowledge, and service by going above and beyond will keep me coming back. This is not the only positive experience I ve had at this location, so whatever healthy work culture the management has here is working :) Thanks again, Dave and Brandon!

Nice place, nice people. Good collection of automotive products. A bit tricky to access off 15-501. Going north out of Chapel Hill, need to turn right at Sheraton, then turn right onto access road, where store is located.
