Love this place. This guy is old school and loves to talk. You don t get good experiences like that anywhere else these days and he s got great deals on factory take offs that are brand new tires compared to buying new from other places.

Traveling out of town for Christmas and we had a nail in our tire. We had a family member recommended this place to us. It s Saturday right before Christmas and they are swamped. The owner goes out of his way to help us and make room to repair the tire. Great service. Thank you.

Just bought a tire from Dad s. They are always friendly and very quick. In and out in 20min. Prices are always fare and he always lets you know the truth about your tires. It has such a nice country feel when you go in, always welcoming. And love his dogs too!

Absolute worst experience ive had at an auto shop before. Very condescending and a little creepy. Scolded me for bringing the tire into the office while not knowing I wasn t supposed to. Would not recommend this business to anybody.

I stopped there to get one used tire. Mounted and balanced was a little under $60. Quaint little waiting room with a down-home Southern feel. Very nice people. Doesn't really cater to the one used tire crowd, steers more towards package deals.

Dad is one of the most caring shop owners I ve ever met!!! I stopped by there today to have my tires replaced. Not only was Dad kind, he was also super helpful! He gave me some recommendations on what I needed to do with my car. The experience was absolutely amazing. I also got to meet Bella and Sadie too who are absolutely some of the cutest puppies!!! I definitely recommend everyone to go to Dads! By far impressed with how kind and honest the work there is.

Awesome place to get tires from, Dad (the owner) genuinely values his customers and tries his best to give them the best deal. They warranty their work with no questions asked. I personally purchased a set of tires to have one start leaking 3 weeks later and Dad got to it right away and did a professional patch and not just a plug job. The integrity and customer service I ve experienced at Dad s Tires cannot be matched at the big chain tire stores.

Owner (call him Dad) was very knowledgeable and eager to explain every step. Prices are more than fair and he was very honest about all of the options I had. He will accommodate your budget and his warranty is like no other warranty out there! He is very old school and will take care of you. I will never go to another tire shop. I will always go to Dads.

It's a sad day when you stop by a business and they are to much about the almighty dollar you get a like new tire fixed with a nail and you step outside to back your car in a bay go back in and the owner is talking to another customer with the same problem about he is not making the kind of money he would like to! Really disappointed I really liked the place but when you are disabled with cancer and they can't take 5 minutes to put your spare in place ! This world has got to do better! You lost my business hope you make all the money you need,have a good day!

Went in today to get tires for my car. Dad literally walked me through every step of the process, and his extended warranty program. Tires look brand new (still have the nipples on it) for a fraction of the price. I am extremely satisfied with my experience, and with the product I received. Do not hesitate to take your vehicle here. I have already given out the fliers he has to friends, and they are already planning on contacting him for tires. Great customer service is still alive at Dad's. Thanks so much!

Have dealt with Dad's every time I've needed tires since I can't afford new. He's got very good used tires, with no rot and decent tread. Plus, best customer service I've ever had. Dad is a friendly guy who'll give it to you straight and treat you right with deals. Affordable, good tires and you can watch the whole process so that's kind of neat too. Would highly recommend Dad's if you're looking for affordable tires and cannot spend over $500 on a new set.

I called this place to get an estimate on what it would cost to have four 215/65r17 tires mounted and they told me the cost would be $125. That is absolutely INSANE!!! I know for a fact most places charge around 20 bucks a tire. I called a place local to me asking what it would cost and they said it would only be 15 bucks a tire and needless to say that's where I will be going Saturday when I am off. Only reason I tried this place is because they are around the corner from where I work and I am having the tires delivered to my location of work. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to purchase or have tires mounted not to go here.

I have been buying my tires from Dad's Tire store for the past several years!! If they don't have high tread or what I need he can order new tires and considering he's a small shop compared to other large tire retailers, the prices are competitive. But, you get more than a good price at Dad's... he backs up his products and is a pleasure to talk to about life and things in general. I always look forward to visiting the store... in fact i'm headed there today to have a tire plugged....

Checking the overall appearance of my car as I left standby at work. I noticed silver and gold coming from the underneath of my car. Unfortunately it was not the silver and gold I wanted to find as it was my tire and not a pot of gold hiding under my car. Dad's tire was super fantastic, purchased a used tire that's almost brand new and I am on my way again. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had a tire with a puncture in it, so I brought it in to Dad's to have it looked at. They took the tire off the rim and pulled the metal out of it and told me they could patch it for me for about $30 to buy me some time, but that there was noticible wear from alignment problems. He went in the back to ser what he had, and they had the same tire in good condition, sold it to me for $90. They put it on the rim, filled it up, and put it on my truck for me for no additional cost besides getting rid of the bad tire. I will definitely be coming back in the next few weeks to see what kind of good deal I could get on replacing my other tires. A side note - I was rather impressed by the amount of other services offered here. These guys helped me out today, I plan on doing more business with them soon.

We were moving Saturday and on our way back to Wilmington we ran over a large bolt. Our tire went flat in his parking lot when we pulled over to see what was going on. They were closed and working on an addition to there building. The owner came outside to see what was going on and was nice enough to replace our tire for us even though he was closed. Great customer service great pricing definitely going to go back to him. Strongly recommend!

Randy or "Dad" as he likes to be called has been a core provider in his community for years. He offers great prices on used tires and takes extra time and effort to inspect each and every one. I have been getting my tires from him for over 10 years. He also gives back to his community in many different forms whether it's supplying gifts for children with less privilege around the holidays, employment and guidance to people in need, or supporting the many dogs that needed shelter that have become loved ones at Dads Tires. Randy is a first class individual, and if I am buying tires, or anything for that matter, I am looking for integrity, decent pricing, and a satisfactory product. That is what you'll receive at Dad's Tires.

This is a store that does not sell new tires at all. He does sell tires that he gets through many sources that are take offs at dealerships and other sources. I bought a set of Michelins for my wife's SUV there installed for under $500. There looked new. The tread wear can be different on tire sets because he may have got the set from more than a single source. He was unable to provide a set of good tires for my SUV that I felt I wanted to give $550 for. The installation and tax are included in the price which is a great thing. He has dogs running about the store and some of the things he told me were unprofessional. For example, he told me tire manufacturers don't give warranty on tires. However, if you are looking for a cheaper set of tires at a pretty good price, this is your store.

Daniel the young man that waited on me, this time, yes I am a repeat customer, was very helpful. He checked all my tires to find that what I thought was another bad tire was really just a low tire. Dad, the owner, is always friendly and helpful.

My car needed its tires replaced and I was referred to Dad s by a friend. The service was fast and Dad, Zach, and Dan were extremely polite!! They were even able to get me a better deal than what I originally had planned on getting. I ll certainly be going back, and I ll be referring people here for their tire service needs!!

Go to Dad's Tire Store. Friendly, clean shop. Smelled of pipe smoke, odes to rescue dogs on the wall. Fair and prompt service, small town feel, I recommend highly. Support this dog-rescuing small business owner!

I absolutely LOVE Dad & Tracy. They go above and beyond the call of duty to help their customers. I was having some problems with my tires, I had just gotten new ones and I really thought that they were making a strange sound. Instead of just trying to sell me new tires, he wanted to see if it was really my imagination or if they were maybe defective new tires. He concluded that I didn't really need new tires, but that if I needed help with anything in the future he'd be more than happy to be of service. Not many service provides will put your car up on a lift, check out the situation and NOT charge you for it. I can't wait until I need to get new tires, because I will go to DAD's as soon as that day comes. Tracy holds down the fort and keeps Dad in line and it is a really great organization! It's worth the trip to Castle Hayne and I wouldn't recommend anyone else for tires in Wilmington!

I absolutely recommend this tire shop it is a small down home respectful inexpensive shop. I actually had a baby here 4 years ago and I can't believe how well dad the owner treated me and made me feel more comfortable then I could imagine

I can honestly say both gentlemen I met last night were amazing! We are active duty military and passing through. I have traveled the US and would drive back here just to have my vehicle serviced there. Honesty, integrity with respect is how I was treated.

Owner didn't want to work on my truck, to fix my tire...to much work for the money he was going to make. Don't go there...avoid
