We have been using Techni-Quest for over 15 years for our automotive repair and service needs. From tires to general repairs and service we have had superior service and trust the staff and the guidance they provide. Today had work done on my older "around town" Buick. If it needs something they'll tell you. If not they'll tell you that too. They care about you and your car.

I needed an oil change last minute for the holidays and Techni-Quest was able to work it into their schedule. Tim was very courteous and the shop techs did a great job! They were also able to take care of my vehicle inspection during the same visit. Having moved the area recently, I'm glad to have found Tim and Techni-Quest to take care of our vehicles!

Went here after my car would not start, because I sat next to my car too long not realizing my key was turned to start but I just pulled it out, & went into a store & when I tried to start my car, the battery was too dead. I was able to get another person to help me jump my car, & he suggested I go the this place & have my battery tested, & I did. It was normal, ! I was surprised bec I only drove from the Cary Walmart to here! But the test was costly. I think it would be anywhere else too. Plus no issues since.

These guys are great. We've been taking our cars to Techni-Quest for about 15 years. They've done everything from oil changes to rebuild an engine for us. They have kept our cars running great which has allowed us to hang on to them longer. We've always found them to be honest, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended...

I heard about the car repair shop through a friend, and since finding a reliable or trustworthy mechanic has felt like an impossibility in today s world, I sort of took the recommendation with a grain of salt. But, after having some car troubles occur we went to this place and they have been truly amazing and super reliable ever since with multiple interactions. Whatever they recommend and eventually charge, I just know it is fair and the correct recommendation with the known information. Truly trusting a car repair shop is something that really is a blessing when things go wrong with your car. Thankfully, Techni-Quest is right here in Cary!

I have a 1990 Ford Bronco. A lot of shops won't look at an older car, but they didn't hesitate to take it in. Did great work and the car is running better than ever now.

Many thanks to Charles, Tim and Neil who saved the day when my 1972 Challenger lost its rear brakes on the last day of the 7 day 7 city Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour. Techni-Quest squeezed me in and using their skill and creativity, within 2 hours I was back on the road. As out of towners, we really appreciated their friendliness and re-assurance that we would make our deadline to become Long Haulers. Great people and very fair rates . Thx guys!!!

Super straightforward professional guys that get the job done.I have an older truck that gets the occasional oil or electrical issue, and the couple of times I've taken my truck here the service has been super honest, fairly priced and overall no frills which I appreciate.Service: General repairs & maintenance

My family and I have been going to Techniquest for years and it is the only place I trust with my car. At one point I took my car into a Jiffy Lube for a last minute oil change and the whole time they were haggling me, trying to get me to replace various parts of my car, and the prices of those parts kept change everytime I turned them down. It was an extremely uncomfortable experience. Techniquest is the opposite. They are matter of fact and never bully me. As a woman who doesn't understand a lot about cars, they are THE ONLY place that helps me understand what I need done and why, but don't talk down to me when I ask questions. They are the only place I will ever go to have my car worked on. And the only place I will send my daughter. They are a business you can trust.

Always honest & reliable car repair experience. Pat & Charles are awesome & informative. I had Patrick as my technician & he identified the issue with my car with good explanations. I've been coming here for several years & consider them a trusted garage that's hard to find anymore. Thank you guys.

If you are looking for a trustworthy mechanic you can stop searching. I've lived in a few different states and I've never found a shop that is more honest, fair, or hardworking than this one. This shop will never look at you like a sale, but rather a valued customer. The team always goes above and beyond to make sure their valued customers are taken care of at an honest price, what more can you ask for? I've had several experiences with this shop and every one has been 10/10. If you need help, give them a call and ask for Tim or Pat! They will take care of you. You won't regret it.

Top notch service! I have three old and very high mileage vehicles so we come here quite often. Have gotten to know some of the staff over the years and Charles, Mike, Justin, Joe and all the guys there are friendly, honest and a pleasure to chat with. Repairs are done right, done quickly, and prices are always reasonable. They shoot you straight about what is necessary and make helpful suggestions without being forceful. After hours drop off is super convenient as well.

I have been caring my vehicles to them since 1988. I have found them to be the best around. Honesty, professionalism, and work done right the first time. The owner has gone over and beyond what I have seen anywhere to ensure the work done is of the highest quality in the business.I trust them completely to only do what is necessary and do it well.

This is, in my opinion, the best mechanic in the Raleigh/Cary area. I've been taking my cars here for years, and they have always treated the cars like they were their own. When I drop my car off for general maintenance and they call when they find something to ask if I want to get it fixed, and explain the cost and how sever of an issue it is if I don't get it fixed. Their prices have always been reasonable, and they will tell you if the repair is just not worth doing.The check engine light on my car had been on for the previous two owners and no mechanic they had brought it to had been able to figure out what the problem was. I brought the car here, and they had it figured out within a day and were able to get it fixed.They have a late night drop off system where you can bring your car in after closing, fill out a form on an envelope, put your key in the envelope, and the drop it through the mail slot in their door. This has been a huge convenience for me since they open early in the morning and I wouldn't normally be able to get a ride to drop my car that early. This let's them get started on the work sooner and makes it so I only need to work out one ride to the shop during business hours.Overall, I've very pleased with them and try to recommend them to anyone in the area that need auto repair and maintenance.

Techni-Quest Automotive Service is a top notch professional car service shop. They offer the full range of automotive repair, maintenance, and inspection. This is a no-BS operation, I always feel like they have me in the best of hands and offer honest advice. After being swindled multiple times at Auto-Zone and Jiffy Lube, TechniQuest is a must have for my car. Thank you to Pat for the great service and counsel.

Quick and honest. Very helpful scheduling. Informative and very up front with pricing. Pat kept me informed every step of the way. They also helped by prioritizing the repairs to my ancient but reliable vehicle. These guys are great. I have an old Nissan that wouldn't start and I knew it was potentially a major issue. They didn't take me to the cleaners when others might have (I've had quite a few bad experiences at other shops), but instead talked with me at length about worst-case scenarios and whether or not it would be worth putting the money into the vehicle versus just donating it. In the end, I elected to have them do additional diagnostics and it turned out not to be as bad as we originally thought. They charged a fair price to fix it and my truck was saved. Runs as well now as it did when I bought it 15 years ago. These guys have been in business at this location for as long as I can remember, and they have a loyal following for a reason.

I found this place through online reviews and thought I would share some additional praise for Techni-Quest to help others that may be in search of a good auto repair shop in Cary. I am self employed and my job requires my vehicle. No vehicle, no pay, and unhappy clients that made their schedule around mine would also be upset. My alternator started failing and could have left me stranded so I needed a repair ASAP. They were able to squeeze me in the same day and did a fast and fantastic repair at a reasonable price. The gentleman at the font desk was very courteous and made me feel at ease that I had chosen the right place. I will definitely be using them again for my future auto repair needs.

Good guys who do quality work and never talk down to me or try to upsell me for being a woman. They've been honest about which repairs are critical and which can be put off for a while yet if money is tight. We've taken two cars here for 8+ years and haven't been disappointed.

Absolutely outstanding customer service! Repair was quick and they went ABOVE & BEYOND to take care of my husbands car! We live over an hour away, but if anything else happens to any of our vehicles, we will be carrying it here (if safe to drive of course.) thank you guys! Joey and I are 150% pleased!

First time customer here. Tim squeezed me in for an oil change just before the holiday. Tim greeted me, acknowledging the appointment time, and checked my information. He verified the type of oil that is needed for my car.During my wait, Tim had several customers that he greeted by name. He also took the time to explain to the customers that came in what work was done to their car, and what was wrong with the car in detail. When an additional service was needed for my car he let me know about the repair prior to completeing it, and also found the price of the parts. He was very helpful and informative. I will come back, and would reccommend to a friend.

It can be hit or miss when you choose a mechanic. I came here at the recommendation of a friend. They are honest and thorough. If they tell you that something needs to be done then it probably needs to be done. They do their work quickly too.This is where I will take all my cars when they need work done on them.

I am always greeted and waited on quickly. The guys are friendly and helpful and offer honest opinions on my car. I don't get the impression they are "taking advantage" of my lack of car knowledge by performing work not needed.

My husband and I have been bringing our cars here for years! They graciously put up with my last minute phone calls asking to be seen ASAP. They re always suggesting what needs to be done, and not all the extras, while still keeping an eye on things that might not come up. I had an intermittent electrical problem last year and they went above and beyond trying to figure it out for me (without just replacing the whole system!)

I went there again after 6 months to mount 2 tires on my 05 corolla. good service , reasonable price. will definitely recommend ten quest to others.Called & talked to technic quest about changing battery in my 05 corolla . they have a good price and good service , will definetly go there for oil change or something.
