Been going here for years even when it was discount tire. Prices are comparable to or cheaper than competitors. They are always able to come up with a coupon to use for my bill. Never any unexpected charges. They always take their time to explain the issue to me and will even keep the part they replaced to show me.

I give them 0 stars! I would never let them touch my car again!!! I have been there two times and it was not good. The second time I went there the lug nuts in my tire were loose and the tire almost fell off. When I called, the guy said that I can t prove it was them and he s right, but they were the last ones to touch my car. I will not be returning and I hope you don t either.

I was there on Feb end. My ABS lights are on. They said they made a Electrical test and said i have to change my Axel , sensor etc With an estimate of 1k. I was not satisfied and i thought of going for second opinion so i said i will do it later and got the estimate in hand. Even for that test they charged me 150. I took this to other shop and they fixed it with $55. So never go here . They loot your hard earned money.

This was one of the best experiences I've had at a tire change business. I blew my tire on 540 on the way home from work, pulled over to change it and put on my spare and stopped by Mr Tire on the way home just to get a quote.I got home, compared pricing with a couple other places and at 5:45pm, they took me in and I got all 4 tires replaced within an hour!Best service and experience I've had and am definitely coming back in the future!

I have been coming to Mr. Tire for years with all my cars. I always feel that they are honest and fair. I stopped in for an air pressure check since the weather is getting cooler. Gary was so helpful. He has great customer service skills and is an asset to your company.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. Brought our Subaru here for an oil change and instead received a cracked transmission fill plug. No reason for them to touch the transmission except the transmission pan looks a whole lot like an oil pan. Mr. Tire did not make us aware of the situation and we have been leaking transmission fluid ever since. Not only did we pay for them to damage our car we now have to pay for a whole new transmission. We ve only used Mr. Tire for the past 2 years.Picture is of the transmission fill plug. Cracked in 3 places.Would recommend going anywhere else or just do it yourself. You d have better luck.

Took my Honda here because it was making a strange noise after being out of the state for a few months i was quoted over $3000 and given a laundry list of repairs ranging from full break replacements to a full set of new tires. I found this odd because my tires and breaks were less than a year old. I took my car elsewhere, and had a part replaced for around $500. The issue with my car wasn't even on the list of "necessary" repairs given to me at mr.tire. Other reviews have reported an almost identical list to the one I received. This place is absolutely attempting to milk and scam its customers.

Had an oil change this morning . I had chalk marked my tires to make sure they were rotated. After the oil change was done I went to my car to make sure my tires were rotated and they weren t. They brought the car back into the garage to correct the problem. When completed the mechanic threw my keys on the counter. I asked the front desk attendant who was just coming into work, if I could have my keys and told him the problem. He never apologize for the inconvenience. After leaving I noticed the reminder sticker was not updated on when my next oil change would be. I drove back again to get the sticker and this same attendant never apologized for the inconvenience. I want to be clear that the opening desk attendant was very nice and apologized to me. For $117 for an oil change you would think the service could be done right the first time.

Extremely poor customer service. I made an appointment to have tires replaced and then called to confirm the day before and was told there was no appt and they di not have the tires. Mistakes happen and I can understand. What is not OK is making a mistake and treating the customer with contempt. No need to visit this place.

Warning, they do not know how to program TPS (tire pressure sensor) and their corporate would not issue refund. Nice people working there and I used them before, but they do not know how to program TPS for my Toyota Sienna Minivan. My low pressure light came on my dashboard and I took it to Mr. Tire to save some money as opposed to going to the dealer, the technicians said one battery in the TPS was dead and the other 3 were low so suggested I change out all 4 for $553.98. They were confident that would fix the issue. After they changed out all 4, they could not get the low pressure light to turn off. Suggested I drive it and come back next day if it still is not off. Did so and the light would flash and stay on. Two more days of me coming back to them and waiting for them to try to program and they said issue was not with the TPS but with system that reads it and said it would be another $2000 for them to order from Toyota and replace. I then took to the Toyota dealer and they said that Mr Tire didn't know how to program and they would need to replace TPS with official Toyota parts. The aftermarket TPS Mr Tire installed may be fine but they would only program official Toyota parts and Mr. Tire could not do that. Brought the 4 TPS sensors back and discussed with Mr. Tire and it seems like this has happened to other people before. Request for refund had to be sent to their corporate team and corporate denied any refund as they said I took to another place to fix which voided the warranty of the TPS with Mr. Tire. So I lost a lot of time and $553.98 for TPS issue that I ultimately had to get the Toyota dealer to resolve. Warning not to come here for TPS replacements as I got the run around and when they did not know how to fix wanted to add another $2000 quote for unnecessary replacement.Edit: After speaking with their Customer Service, they did issue a $349.21 refund. I'm adding another star back as they were willing to work and discuss the details with me, but did not refund the full amount so I'm still out $204.77 and lost lots of time back and forth initially trying to get the TPS monitors programmed.

12-02-2023: OUTRAGED & VERY DISAPPOINTED. If there is a ZERO rating I would choose it. I asked my daughter to bring our 2007 Toyota Camry for oil change at Mr. Tires Davis Drive, Cary--Store 1065. She got an appointment at 9am, December 2, 2023. Around 10:05 am, the store called stating that it needed a new battery. I told my daughter to go ahead. I did not check the receipt until this afternoon. Mr. Tires Davis Drive charged $438.82 for a battery replacement for an old 2007 Toyota Camry. See attached picture of store's manager name and actual charged for replacement battery on the invoice/receipt. The store manager on the receipt is Ron Hamel. I called the store today, December 3 at 2:30pm, and I was given the run around. This is not my first time to get a car serviced. The technician who answered the phone could have checked the invoice on their system by verifying my name and phone number, which were reflected on the invoice/receipt. But he did not offer to do that. He said "I can't do anything because Ron is not here." I asked what sort of name brand would cost this much and he said "I can't say because we place our orders at Autozone." I Googled the code or name indicated in the receipt and the match I found was a Duralast for $231.99 at Autozone. I am posting this to get an answer because this seems like a scam and taking advantage inexperienced people like my daughter. I am a disabled person who happened to be sick yesterday so I asked my daughter to take our car for an oil change and battery replaced as per recommendation by Ron Hamel. This charged was outrageous!

Mr. Tire hires lazy inexperience technicians with no integrityOn October 13, 2022, I requested a cabin filter, tire rotation, and complete diagnostic service to find a knocking sound that seemed to come from my front-end suspension. So long story, after completing a 3 - 4 hour job in two days, technicians K. Torvikey and S. Brake installed the wrong part improperly. Driving home after paying for the service, I noticed the vehicle's back end was vibrating violently. I immediately made a U-turn and headed back to the shop. I entered the shop and told the closing manager and the assigned tech what I had noticed while driving the vehicle. They both became defensive and dismissive of what I had brought to their attention. I began to get upset and left the shop. The following day I took my vehicle to Pep Boys. They found that they installed the wrong ball joint, and the retainer clip and the grease fitting were not placed onto the part. The tech at Pep Boys said they missed diagnosed the problem. The knocking sound was due to worn stabilizer links, not the ball joints. Also, the vibrating in the rear of the vehicle was due to the left rear tire falling off. The lug nuts were severely loose. Someone could have gotten seriously injured. They also charged me for replacing the cabin filter and never installed it. Although corporate gave me a full refund, I am left with damage to my vehicle due to the Mr. Tire store in Apex correcting the problem from the Mr. Tire location on Davis St. But that's a whole other story. The corporate office refused to pay for the current damage to my vehicle resulting from the misdiagnosis of the ball joint. The ball joint was never the issue and never should have been serviced. As a former U.S. Army Diesel Mechanic, with some hands on experience, I've noticed Mr. Tire hires very inexperience technicians. Lesson learned.

The manager and head mechanic at this location saved me hundreds of dollars by recognizing that another garage in the area was attempting to charge me for parts that did not need repaired. Greatly appreciated.

Came to get my tires rotated and balanced, and asked them to check my front brakes, which were replaced a year ago at another shop, because of an occasional noise issue I was now experiencing. Turned out they needed a bit of adjustment and they were not optimal in operating. Ron is the manager and I am grateful to him and his team for correctly identifying the problem and taking care of this matter.

Staff was friendly but they installed front brake pads on my rear and had to redo it which extended my appointment from about 2 hours to 4. Very pricey and took up majority of my morning

I dropped my car off this morning around 830 for a simple oil change. Nothing more.It is now 5pm and it s still not complete. This morning I was offered for them to bring me my car since my job is so close and my company closes at the same time they do. Then was told they they aren t able to. Got a call around 5- for upsells of course. Sooooo I need spark plugs, a battery and 4 new tires. Most of the time whenever I go to these places alone- the men always try to sell me something. Smh. I m praying that my car is ok when I go pick it up.I m so scared to get my car and something is wrong with it. I ll be checking my oil cap and all before I drive it off. My coworker went to pay and pick up keys- the guy circled and stated here are the declined services - 900 bucks!!! WowUpdate- picked up my car and the oil stick is broken inside of the holder!!!!!

Great folks here. It was a Sunday morning. I had ripped a sidewall the night before, and was riding on the donut spare. On my way to Church. Knowing i had a drive coming afterward to see Granddaughter. I dropped off the tire, and they had it changed and ready but the time church was over. And I picked it up on the way home. Threw it on the car and was good to go!-------------Ok, kind of a long story to say, they came through for me when I needed them.Thank you God for puting them right on my way to and from Church.

I was at the store and got two tires replaced. The Manager ("Ron") was unable to process my payment properly and created a problem with my bank's debit card. I then had to waste 45 minutes while he engaged in trouble shooting the issue by calling their billing department. The incompetency of the Manager was surprising and sad. I also found the overall atmosphere of the store to be very unprofessional - bordering to being unsafe!

Recently, my car was at my regular mechanic for an inspection and oil change. My mechanic stated that all was well with my car but he couldn t pass it because it needed new tires. He couldn t get the tires that day, so I took it to discount tire and my mechanic told me to have a simple inspection done near work (he s on the other side of town) and assured me everything was well with my vehicle.Fast forward to five days later, my vehicle has new tires and Mr Tire was going to complete the inspection. Well, after leaving the car for 2 hours, I was called and told that it would not pass due to cloudy headlights, streaky wipers and an emergency brake that wasn t engaging properly (which they could remove the tire and try cleaning the connection to, for the low price of $79). Knowing that these were not issues on Monday and this was Saturday, I told the technician that I was surprised because it had just been given a very thorough once over at my regular mechanic. He told me maybe I should just take it to him and have him pass it if I know so much. I angrily hung up and went to pick up my vehicle and paid $23 for nothing. A week later, my car passed with no issues whatsoever. My regular mechanic told me that this was a thinly veiled attempt at a cash grab and that none of the issues they found were valid, and my vehicle was in great condition for its age. This Mr Tire location is simply trying to take advantage of people they assume don t know any better. The mechanic that day saw two females drop off a BMW and thought it would be a chance to score about $300 in repairs. Nice try!The tech at the desk when I picked up was very nice and understood my frustration, that s the only reason I m okay giving them the 1 star I had to to write this review!

BE CAREFUL!! They have misleading and deceptive coupons and "discounts". The coupon said 45off price120. Call them and ask them if they honored that one. Turns out they the 120 WERE the FINAL price! Nowhere was writing that. That's sooooooo deceitful. NEVER EVER AGAIN with you! I will tell everyone. Go to Sears it's cheaper and they have 6 months free. Filing a complaint why the BBB RIGHT NOW!

Went in to get my check engine light read. It was advertised on a banner above the middle bay that they do it for free. When we went in, we were told it would cost 100 dollars for diagnostics. I said that the sign said they would do it for free to which I was questioned "what sign?" We went outside and the sign was still hanging, but as we were walking in to tell him, he went outside and took the sign down. Just wished they would honor what was advertised.
