I brought my 2016 Hyundai to JNM Auto for an AC repair, and am happy with my choice! Bettina was helpful, friendly, and quick to reply over email. I had been told by another shop that my car needed repairs that weren t actually necessary, and Jay did an independent diagnostic and was honest with me about what my car actually needed. The service was quick and the price was unbeatable!

I just moved from Germany to the US and was looking for a trustworthy auto shop. Jay took a look at my car and told and showed me what he needs to do in order to ensure my car will last a long time. Since he explained everything, I felt very well taken care off. The repair of my car took just one day and he also offered me a rental car for that day. After doing a little bit comparison, it seems the price was very reasonable. I will definitely come back for future repairs and maintenance.

My car had some rattling sounds in the engine for a couple weeks- I was able to get scheduled same day, and after sending them a video of the sound, Jay said he knew right away what the issue was and fixed it for me in seconds without making me feel like I was careless. I appreciate them for seeing me last minute and completely solving my problem, they will be my first choice for auto-care going forward.

Quality shop that does quality work. We brought our Kia in for body work and glass replacement after a collision and they were total pros and really nice folks, great to work with.

The best experience I ve ever had at a mechanic. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. Jay walked me through my inspection and he was educational without being condescending, and gave me great advice on how to keep my car running for a long while. This has been one of the better places I've been to for service. They've been kind and personable since the first day I came in, and offered me money saving recommendations on services and repairs. I cannot recommend JNM Auto enough!

I can t say enough good things about our experience with Jay and Bettina. Not only did they pick up our car to take it to their shop, but they went the extra mile to find us the lowest prices on parts and accommodated our requests to have them use them. Jay even painted our wheels because they were so rusted, and he couldn t stand to look at them. Top notch service, and I literally didn t have to do anything but say yes, fix that, or no, don t fix that. They even delivered our car to us in the morning while we slept. I was so impressed with their service, and highly recommend them.

Finding a mechanic you can trust can be a daunting task, but you can rest assured at JNM Auto! Jay was my mechanic and he was so incredibly kind to me. Not once did I feel like he was trying to sell me on a service I didn't need, plus he even let me watch what he was doing so I could learn more about my vehicle. I don't know the first thing about cars but Jay was able to show me in a way that I could understand.I got a full synthetic oil change on my cx30 plus some free know-how. 100% recommend!Service: Oil change

I was well pleased with the service here. My car drove so much better after having rear brake work completed. I'll be returning for front brake work. Great customer service.Updated 10/12/22:On Tuesday I returned my car to have my front brakes done. Now I have perfect and lifetime brake pad warranty on the front and back. My car drives and brakes so much better. Jay was very professional and provided great customer service. I look forward to continued services.Service: Brake service & repair

The shop owner heard my belt squealing for about 3 seconds before he told me it was my AC compressor that went bad. I was having such a good experience so far that I trusted him and believed him. They replaced the AC compressor and the belt for about three or $400. As I was leaving the belt was still squealing and they told me it should go away in a day or two. It never went away. I finally went to a different mechanic and all he did was tighten the belt for free and the noise went away. I strongly believe the AC compressor was perfectly fine. This was years ago now that I had this experience, but I recently looked at all of my reviews and realized that I'd given this place five stars at the time, but in reality I had a one-star experience.

I cannot say enough good things about JNM Auto. Jay and Bettina are some of the kindest people I ve met. They re honest, affordable and talented mechanics. They also just started offering reasonably priced rental cars for when you have to leave your car for multiple days. We are so fortunate to have their shop in our neighborhood. I will never take my car anywhere else!

A true gem. This is exactly what is missing in our society- a good ol' fashioned, hard working, honest automechanic.I got hooked because I saw a great deal on a Groupon they had been running. I read the reviews, saw that they were good, bought the Groupon and took a chance by scheduling an appointment. So glad I did.No nickel and dimes. They lifted my car up, took me under, showed me what was what and where upcoming spots were arising.The owner was great.It's an old school spot and would absolutely recommend it.

I came here because my car was totaled, and I wasn't happy about it (as anyone would be). However, working with Bettina and Jay was by far the easiest step of the entire process. The parts took a while to arrive, but when they did, the work was done quickly and it is honestly shockingly impressive.Both Bettina and Jay were direct, informative, and I didn't feel like I was getting taken for a ride, which is sadly rare for an auto shop. Jay is awesome, I was referred to him by two friends who use him as well. My car didn t want to start on a Friday night after acting up for a coupleof days. Jay squeezed me in and evaluated my car over the weekend, he kindly went over the car/diagnostics with me in the shop so I understood what was going on. He discussed the parts and necessary labor with me to fix the engine and had it up and running by the end of the weekend. I had a really great experience here & highly recommend it to others for trustworthy & fairly priced work! There is always an instinctive hesitation when it comes to auto mechanics due to having been burned in the past or knowing someone who has, but here I believe is an honest small business worth checking out & giving them an opportunity to earn your trust. To set expectations, it s not fancy in its decor, but more important to me is reliability and that their work is well done. They are easy to reach via phone, very friendly, and flexible in scheduling. Jay took the time to show me my car and explain things for future considerations but had no pressure to get them done earlier than needed or with their company. My car is still in great shape currently, but will be back when my car needs service. Thank you Jay & nice to meet you!If TL;DR: great & honest auto shop, recommend you give them an opportunity to gain your trust too!Service: Oil change

As a woman looking for a trustworthy automotive shop, I came across a Gem. Fantastic customer care. Always polite and professional. Nothing is too difficult for them. Jay is an amazing mechanic and explains why he recommends something. His wife Bettina is very helpful and makes me laugh.I used to go to bigger name automotive companies and felt I always paid too much.I will always use JNM Auto for any work needed on my car as I know they will only do work that is required at better than a fair price. I trust them!!Plus they do amazing body work. :)

I brought our car in for a check up and it needed a new oil gasket and rear suspension parts. JNM charged a very fair price and explained everything to me. They said they would finish the car on the same day which they did despite a little hiccup with obtaining the right parts for the job. They are all very nice and respectful people with a family business vibe. Our 2003 Camry is running smoothly now and my bank did not break!Services: Steering & suspension repair, Engine repair

I was referred to this shop from a Facebook group. Jay was so patient with me, explained what my car issues were, and even allowed me to do the inspection with him, which was a first for me. He also assured me I would not need to replace the car any time soon, which was a huge relief to hear.He made me feel safe that my car would be in the right hands after I left my previous mechanic with more issues than I went in with. I will definitely be returning because he was able to get me in quickly, and it can be hard to find a mechanic to trust as a paranoid single mom that relies heavily on my car.Also, I've been looking for opportunities to suppose local family owned businesses, so I'm glad I found this shop!

Bettina and Jay - the owners here are the best people to work with I have ever experienced for auto repair or just about any service!The body work and mechanical work is second to none!I have a 2016 Lexus - cost to repair or replace bumper was SO much less here, Jay was so fast in getting my bumper and other scratches repaired. Also changed oil etc.His wife - Bettina who answers the phone and runs the office knows just about as much about cars as her husband Jay - just a fabulous family owned business I highly recommend him and they are right in downtown Cary.

Jay and Bettina s shop is literally the most honest shop I have been to in years!! They did not try and fix an issue with our vehicle, that wasn t going to exactly solve the problem. They gave us price estimates on both of our vehicles showed us in the shop the issue and why it would not be worth the money to get it fixed. We actually came to get other work done but Jay said that wouldn t fix the even bigger repair that we needed. They talked to us for a while like they have known us forever!! I would most DEFINITELY recommend them. Their customer service is top notch and I will be back for all of my vehicle services!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

One of the best auto repair experience!! Jay is proffessional, trustworthy, fair and kind. He includes you in the care of your car, explaining everything and answering all your questions. Even though, I haven't met his wife in person, she was able to straighten out a problem I had with another unprofessional auto shop. JNM really saved my day. My car battery had died overnight and i was stuck. I was googling tow companies and noticed JNM did service as well. I called and spoke to Bettina. I asked if they could come and install a battery for my car. She reassured me no problem and she sent her tech Chris. He came right away and got the replacement in quick. Now I can get back to my business thanks to JNM. I was astonished with the very fair price they gave me for service right away. I can't thank them enough. So happy I went to them. They went out of their way to do an oil change and replace an oil filter that had not been replaced by Pep Boys in my last few visits there. Even though they had a difficult time their price stayed the same and was extremely reasonably. I feel I finally found a car repair shop that I can trust. They also make you feel like you are their friend and they are looking out for you. Jay and Bettina and the guys truly have made me feel there are still good honest and knowledgeable people out there. They do not try to sell you something you don't need just honest workers, I'm super greatfull for their help today. I highly recommend them.Service: Oil change
