Joe was incredibly helpful! Joe went above and beyond to help me make sure that I got what I needed and at the right price. It is very difficult to find someone that is honest and will ensure that the service is exactly what you need! I never felt like I was being tricked into buying something and felt like they were on my side. I would recommend this location to anyone and everyone I know!!! Thank you so so much for helping me and making sure that I left with the best service possible.

I moved up to the Cary/Raleigh area about a year ago and since then this store has been my go to for any and all car related needs. The owner Joe Hunter is very friendly, has exceptional customer service skills, and always explains everything in detail so that you can understand it even if you are not knowledgeable on cars. The staff has all been very polite and works very hard to get you in and out as fast as possible. I've come for new tires, state inspections, tire patches, oil changes, and more and have never once had an issue. Really appreciate how this store truly puts the customer first and will continue to visit for all my future auto care needs.

I brought my car in for a simple engine flush and it turn out to be a major job that would cause me thousand of dollar. I told the guys what was going on with my car so they check the car and told me my radiator is leaking but there is no anti freeze on the floor nor my car was overheating.when I leave Firestone I fell low ball that they was trying to get to spend money I don't have to spend so I call a real mechanic my uncle and I explained the situation to him and right away he told me what the problem was it was my heating core was bad and the anti freeze was leaking inside my car.To make long story short i don't feel appreciated to be lie to over a car spending more money don't increase your paycheck It just give you bad reviews like this. By the way the mechanic that was working on my car had no equipment to pressurize the radiator to see if was leaking. I do know something about car and if I don't know it always YOUTUBE. Stop smoking underneath the hood

I have been taking my car Firestone Cary on Maynard for maintenance. I was satisfied with the service but not today. They said the work was going to be completed in 2 to 3 hours. It took 5 plus hours. I needed my car today to run errands and if they tell me it was going to take that long I would have done the oil change and tires rotation and leave the be rest for another time. When I dropped off the car I told them the washer fluid was low, they replied oh no problem we will top it off. When I went to pick up the car I asked again if they put the fluid, they said YES and I left. A block later here comes the sign in my dashboard saying washer fluid low. I had to return and wait until they finish with some customers to get the fluid to my car. Also they had called me with recommendations including a tune up when I had done a tuneup recently with them. I asked for my receipt, they said they emailed to me but I wanted a copy and they printed the first page without a total. Today I had an awful experience.

We have been going to this location for years and have only had wonderful experiences. Just today I picked up my car for an oil change and replacement for a wheel bearing. Not only did they replace that without any issues but they also buffed out a big scratch on my car without me even having to ask. 10/10 for the guys over in Cary. Joe was very attentive and honest about everything with the car. I would highly recommend them!

Was driving down from Virginia area to see my Dad in the Cary/Raleigh area and felt a rattle in the front driver side. The sales and service specialist, Joe Hunter probably saved my life. My lug nuts on the tire were so loose that he was able to unscrew them with his hand.Without him, my tire easily could have flown off. Joe took care of us immediately even with a busy schedule and his customer service was top notch! If i lived in this area I would make sure to go to Joe. Thank you Joe for helping us out today and how you help out others.

We have a small RV needing tire replacement. Service has been an issue for us in the past as many shops are reluctant to put the vehicle on a lift.Artie, the Service Manager at Firestone, had a different attitude. He said, "whatever we need to do, we'll make it work". He and his team quickly went to work and put on our new tires, using a floor jack, instead of a lift. Everyone there was polite and communicative. Artie was extremely personable and efficient. He had excellent rapport with his staff.Excellent experience! Above expectations!Service: Tires

Joe was very helpful and made my oil change smooth. I told him I was sad because I couldn t go fishing in the Virgin Islands! He explained the store was the best in the area and some of his co workers were going to St.Thomas and won the trip! I hope Firestone sends Joe too cause he was the best sales advisor I ever met!

Rance did a wonderful job. The shop was able to have my vehicle seen quickly on a Sunday and diagnose everything within a few hours. I was so relieved and thankful to have a shop take my vehicle in so quickly plus they didn t charge me a dime despite running diagnostics and reseting some electronics (since the issue ended up being electronic and recommended seeing a dealer). Overall, a very professional, honest shop and I highly recommend to anyone!

Visit Date: November 19, 2023I brought my 2011 Dodge Charger to this shop primarily for a wheel alignment and to get quotes for new tires. Within 45 minutes, the service advisor informed me that the wheel alignment couldn't be completed because both front tie rods were 'frozen.' This was surprising since these tie rods were replaced less than a year ago. The advisor suggested replacing them and warned that failure to do so would result in a crooked steering wheel.I found this diagnosis hard to believe, especially since my steering was fine before the service. It seemed unlikely that both tie rods would freeze simultaneously. Now, I was faced with a dilemma: drive off the lot with a crooked steering wheel or consent to the recommended service. I requested the invoice and decided to seek a second opinion.A few days later, I visited Atlantic Tire & Service for new tires and an alignment. There, the technicians adjusted the tie rods without issue and completed the alignment successfully.This experience leads me to believe that some service shops might exploit customers' lack of knowledge to sell unnecessary services, or they might simply lack competence. I'm uncertain which category this location falls into, but I've decided not to return to any of their locations in the future.

Call the shop to make appointment for battery service and inspection . Mgr told us to bring auto at our requested time. Left the auto at shop and half our later they call to let us know the problem. Another hour passed and we received the call that all we needed was a battery. In the mean time the checked the fluids, rotated tires , brakes etc. Wonderful service always!

I came in because of my brakes squeeking. Joe was so helpful and went above and beyond to help me out! Not only was he timely with me and other customers, but he was understanding and personable. Having car troubles is stressful enough, having someone there to advocate for you and be there for you helps all of us.

I want to give a shout out to their mechanic Kit. I took my car in to get it aligned and he noticed that my key fob didn t work. He went above and beyond by replacing the battery. I am beyond impressed and grateful for this. The fob quit working a couple of years ago and I tried replacing the battery. It still wouldn t work. I tried reprogramming it and that didn t work. I had come to the conclusion that it was broken and I wasn t willing to spend the amount of money required to buy a new fob when I could just lock and unlock it with the key. Thanks to Kit I have this feature back.I would also like to say that I was very impressed by how professional the manager was and how well he treated not only me, but all of the other customers.

I can't say enough good things about this Firestone store, Joe Hunter, and the rest of the staff that work there. I know very little about cars so I'm an easy target for unscrupulous mechanics. But, I've never once felt cheated or mislead at this business. In fact, quite the opposite. They go out of their way to ensure my cars safety. And for that, I'm grateful! I recommend the Firestone on Maynard completely!

I brought my car in around 4pm on the 12th, and ended up having to get more done to it then I expected, and Joe and everyone else that was there went out of their way to make sure i got exactly what I needed and never tried to convince me to pay for extra services that I didn't really need. They treated me like I was family and walked me through every step of the way, I would recommend this location to everyone i know!!Thank you guys at the Cary location for everything you did for me yesterday my car still needs a lot of work but at least I'm road safe thanks everyone!!!

This was by far the very best experience I have ever had! It was pouring outside, and I needed new windshield wipers. I called ahead and said I couldn't drive safely with the windshield wipers I had because I had my kids in the car. Joe Hunter answered the phone, checked if the ones I needed were in, and told me to come on over. He greeted me holding the door and already had cartoons playing inside. He helped me get my son inside so I could bring my daughter in as well. There are no words for my gratitude. He and the other gentlemen (I do not use that word often, but they are the epitome of gentlemen) took care of my car and my kids, they were fast, thorough, professional and most importantly, they were kind. These gentlemen need to be celebrated!

Came in to have my loose splash guard refastened or replaced if necessary. They were fully booked for the weekend, so they couldn't fit me in right away. Instead of holding my car overnight, they took a look at it in the parking lot and secured it with zip ties for free. Fantastic!

Great service! Highly recommended! My granddaughter needed her car to get to work but the alternator tensioner had broken. She called and spoke with Rance who gave her a repair quote over the phone. He called me back with a few questions and had her back on the road by the end of the day.

Visited this location twice so far, both times had fantastic customer service. They had me in and out within 20 minutes both times. I got a great explanation for both my problems so I've got a better idea of what to look for in the future. Definitely my go to auto care location!

My apt was at 2 and they started at 2 , associates were friendly and professional , mechanic went over the alignment he preformed , the new firestone tires installed provide a nice smooth ride.

Very courteous service. The GM (Rance) seems to be a nice addition. Reminds me of the old days when Robert was the GM there. The new customer service person (Joseph) is breaking in nicely. I appreciated his openess about his learning curve...and that he always seeks advcice from his GM if there is a question he cannot honestly answer. Much appreciated!

Rance and Joe were very helpful while I was getting work done on my jeep. Rance broke down all the pricing on specific things and even told me the best time of the year coming up to get the best deals on new tires. If you need to bring your car in, these are the guys to see.

Great service, great people. I came in for a quote on tires for my car and project truck. Rance offered to order tires to be installed same day but my time didn t allow that. Next day tires were waiting and ready. They took care of me, they ll take care of you.

Update - Firestone contacted the manufacturer of the cat and got them to replace it free of charge. That is the Firestone customer service I m used to. Thank you for making this right!You replaced the cat 14 months ago and it's already bad. You want to charge another $2,000 to replace it again. Since when does a cat go bad in 14 months?

Customer service is friendly. Dropped the car off for a simple repair. After they had it for a week,because they claim they kept ordering the wrong part. I finally got to drive home. Less than 25 miles later the car has to be brought back for same original issue. It's been there for another week. They don't call and give me updates. I called two days ago to see what gives? I'm told they ordered the wrong part again and they will call back in 20 mins to give an update for completion. I wait two days with no return call. I call this Saturday afternoon and am told the tech working on the car is gone for the day. No one else knows what's going on ,other than car won't be fixed today..I'm not seeing why I would want to bring back my personal or company vehicle back to this place. Unfortunately it's been a horrible experience so far with these guys.

Came in cause my engine light was on and Autozone told me it was my camshift. Called this Firestone and spoke with Rance. He took the time to explain to me what my car actually needed and offered to run a code check to really help me. After letting me know he gave me two options to fix my car all within budget! It s not often I ve seen mechanics take the time to explain to someone what is going on with the car without trying to be a salesman or have the patience with someone who does not know much about cars. I now will only go to this Firestone because I only trust Rance and his team!

True professionals, particularly this location is filled with all friendly people . I have a Firestone near my place still I always prefer this place which is good 30min drive for their professionalism and friendliness.
